The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa
"Stayed here many times now. Not a 5 star hotel but it's great for me as it is close to everything you want. My preference is not to buy breakfast but to go out and find somewhere else to eat. The pool is great with a swim up bar. Rooms are clean and l like to stay in the Royal Wing that has a good view of the pool from your own balcony."
Katathani Phuket Beach Resort
"This hotel is very suitable for a family stay. The facilities are clean, modern, and well-maintained, which made our experience very comfortable. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway."
Beyond Patong
"Beyond Patong — Excellent stay right at Patong Beach We stayed at Beyond Patong for 5 nights and had a great experience overall. Location: 10/10 The hotel is right at Patong Beach. You step out and you’re basically on the sand. Being this close to the beach saved us so much time. There’s also a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel, which was perfect for late night snacks, water, and essentials. Rooms: 10/10 The rooms are spacious and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job daily. All the amenities you’d expect were there: AC, safe, TV, good WiFi, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and we slept well even with the beach nearby. The property itself is well maintained, from the lobby to the corridors. Facilities: 10/10 The highlight is the rooftop infinity pool. Great views of Patong and the Andaman Sea, especially at sunset. Pool area was clean and not too crowded. Staff & Service: 10/10 Staff was genuinely helpful. Check in was smooth, and they were quick with requests. You can tell the team is well trained. Overall If you want a clean, spacious, well maintained hotel steps from Patong Beach with a killer infinity pool and helpful staff, Beyond Patong is a solid choice. The 7-Eleven across the street is a bonus you’ll use more than you think. Would definitely stay again. Rating: 5/5"
Sawasdee Village

Wyndham Grand Nai Harn Beach Phuket
"great place to stay for a week, pool was nice, room is clean and spacious, staff is attentive and helpful."
Niranapa Boutique Resort
"Room was disgusting when we arrived - dirty towels, bugs, blocked toilet. We had to keep chasing the manager to get us moved to a different room. When we finally got moved, the new room was also dirty. The manager sent someone to "deep clean" but this was a light wipe over at most - the sink tap was still dirty, there were ***** hairs on the toilet seat and next to the toilet on the floor, and handprints/finger prints from the previous guests on the toilet and shower doors. After complaining again, rather than being looked after for the poor service and state of the rooms we'd been in for the first 2 days, we were completely ignored. Everytime we went to reception to follow up with the manager, she wasnt there and we were told she would contact us which she didnt. When we finally caught her at reception on day 3 of our 1 week stay, she told us she'd spoke with hotel owner and that theres nothing they can do besides say sorry, and are not willing to do anything to make up for the poor experience we'd had up until that point. To then dig themselves a further hole, the manager then decided to tell me that when the cleaners changed the towels in our room that morning, there was some makeup on a towel and it couldnt be washed, and if this continued they would charge the cost of this to the holding deposit they had on our card. Never in any hotel have i been told a little makeup on a towel is an issue, nor that it cant be washed, and we are frequent travellers. Both my husband and I realised that this was a blackmail tactic, in order to stop us raising further complaints about the disgusting state of the room. Do not stay here, what is portrayed as a chic, clean, aesthetically pleasing boutique hotel, is everything but that. Rude, ignorant dismissive staff, most unprofessional hotel manager i've ever encountered. Photos attached, unable to upload videos to show how bad it really was, but the photos are just a glimpse of what we experienced."
Seaside Naithon Phuket
"The rooms are clean, good bed and pillows. The hotel is just a 2-3 minute walk from the beach. Staff is welcoming and polite. We had a great time at Seaside nai thon Phuket."
Sugar Marina Hotel - Nautical - Kata Beach
"I am a student coming from University of Nevada Las Vegas, preparing launching a survey on my journey this time as part of my portfolio. However, I had a bad fever before checking in. Thanks to C-trip employee who helped me to negotiate with the hotel manager, I regret to say the manager refused to refund on coin to me due to my reservation is unrefundable. However, I booked 5 days with 300 US dollars, at which point I negotiated to refund a part of my money, and it was denied. This is an awful experience, and this hotel is not human-oriented but purely profit-oriented. From my personal experience, it is extremely under my expectation for its unnegotiable attitudes. It will be as part of my research report"

"Hotel made big misleading advertisements, on the site they showed that it’s one situation but in practice it’s another! In addition to the service that whenever you need to solve something they pay little attention and do not like to listen, really a shame that the service made the hosting super unpleasant!"

"We stayed with our family at Bela Nara Phuket Naiyang Beach from May 22 to May 26 and really enjoyed our stay 👍🏻 The sea is very close to the hotel, the beach is clean and pleasant, and there are not many people. Compared to Kata Beach, where it was extremely crowded 😲, Naiyang Beach felt much more peaceful and relaxing. Our room with direct pool access was very convenient. It was great to cool down in the refreshing water before sleep every evening 👍🏻 Everything was excellent, and we were very happy with our stay 👍🏻"

Wolin Patong Greeen Resort
"Me and my family we have a great stay in this resort. Location not too far from Bangla road, is about 25mins walking distance. You can enjoy the street view and a lot of shop along the way if you walk to Bangla road. You won’t feel bored at all. If you lazy to walk u can call Bolt or Grab, is less than 10mins drive. The resort room is like a Greece 🇬🇷 Santorini country yard style. Room is spacious and clean, comfortable and big bed and TV got a lot of china tv program to choose for. The boss is a China native handsome young guy. Very practical and super nice person. He provides us a lot of surrounding info and you can ask him help to book elephant park visit. We have an amazing stay in this resort. Thanks Wolin Patong greeen resort and the boss."
Rawai Lemon Resort-Adult Only
"Facilities: The facilities and equipment are relatively complete, and there is a small swimming pool. Sanitation: The sanitation is very clean, and the water in the swimming pool is also very clean. Environment: The small courtyard is designed very well, with a scene at every step, and the young lady who loves taking pictures can take pictures at will. Service: The boss is Chinese, very enthusiastic, the plane was delayed for a long time, and it was past 12 o'clock here, but he was still waiting for us, and introduced us to many travel strategies."
Meet Holiday Hotel-Rawai
"The rooms are spotless, exactly as presented. The maids are excellent. The cortiard type grounds are beautifully maintained and the koy karps in the pond and artificial stream under the room's balconies just underscores the Chinese influence, to whom the hotel mainly caters to. Breakfast if tasty but mainly oriented onto the Chinese clients. Location is perfect for Rawai and is very close to the pier from where most of the south-bound boat trips depart from. The pier is also right next to the famous Rawai Seafood Market, where I enjoyed several excellent meals. Would stay here again anytime."
Beyond Kata
"Very good property with excellent rooms.cleanliness, amenities, only beach side hotel in kata beach.. property is ryt on beach wid everything just outside hotel..like indian food options,7/11.Would definitely recommend to stay. Only drawback i found was lack of vegetarian options..Though for non veg ppl, breakfast buffet was ample..we had cereals, fruits and coffee only.. Very nice property.Nothing better than it."

Phuket Hotels: Where to Stay for Beaches, Island Hopping & Old Town
About Phuket
Phuket, Thailand's largest island, has earned its nickname "Pearl of the Andaman" for its turquoise waters and white-sand coastline. The island's name comes from the Malay word "Bukit," meaning "hill" — a legacy of its tin-mining and rubber-plantation past, visible today in the colourful Sino-Portuguese shophouses of Old Phuket Town. Its beaches each have a distinct personality: Patong Beach (3 km of golden sand) is the island's nightlife epicentre centred on neon-lit Bangla Road, Kata Beach is a crescent-shaped favourite for families and surfers, and Mai Khao and Nai Harn offer peace and seclusion. Day-trip boats fan out to the Phi Phi Islands for snorkelling in turquoise lagoons, James Bond Island's limestone karsts in Phang Nga Bay, and Coral Island just offshore. Cultural highlights include the 45-metre-tall Big Buddha statue with panoramic island views, Wat Chalong — Phuket's largest Buddhist temple — and the Phuket Thai Hua Museum, which chronicles Chinese-immigrant history in a restored heritage school.

When to Book Phuket Hotels
- For Phuket's peak season (December through March), book hotels 2 to 4 months ahead — beachfront resorts and sea-view rooms sell out first.
- During Songkran in April, Christmas, New Year, or Chinese New Year, book Phuket hotels at least 3 months in advance — prices surge and top properties fill quickly.
- Phuket's cheapest hotel season is the monsoon (May to October), when flight and accommodation packages hit their lowest prices.
- Low-season (June to November) Phuket hotels can cost up to 60% less than peak-season rates, and last-minute bookings of 1 to 4 weeks ahead remain viable.
- For the best Phuket hotel rates, book on a Sunday — Friday and Saturday bookings tend to be the most expensive days of the week.
- The ideal booking window for securing competitive Phuket hotel rates is 2 to 6 weeks before arrival.
Phuket Travel Essentials
Getting Around Phuket
- Tuk-tuks are the go-to for short Phuket trips — negotiate the fare before getting in and bring cash, since drivers don't accept cards.
- Songthaews (blue converted pickup trucks) are Phuket's main local bus network, connecting Phuket Town to Patong, Kata, and Karon. Flag one down anywhere along the route.
- The Phuket Smart Bus runs from the airport to major beaches (Patong, Kata, Karon) for around 100 THB per ride — the cheapest airport-to-beach option on the island.
Phuket Food & Dining
- Phuket is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy — its food scene blends Southern Thai, Malay, Chinese, and Indian traditions thanks to centuries of migration and trade.
- Signature Phuket dishes you won't find on a generic Thai menu: Mee Hokkien (stir-fried yellow wheat noodles in pork broth), Aa Pong (crispy coconut crepes), Khanom Jeen (fermented rice noodles with spicy curry), and Mee Hoon Kra Doog Moo (rice vermicelli with pork bone broth).
- Thalang Road's Sunday Walking Market (Yard Lai, from 5pm) in Phuket Old Town is the single best spot to sample the widest variety of authentic local Phuket street food in one place.
Entry Requirements for Thailand
- All foreign nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC); the old paper TM6 form is no longer valid. TDAC is mandatory for air, land, and sea entry, including visa-exempt travellers, business visitors, and infants.
- Passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity from your arrival date in Thailand. Damaged passports (tears, water damage, missing pages) will lead to entry denial.
- Thai Immigration may conduct random cash checks: travellers must show proof of 10,000 THB per person or 20,000 THB per family (2 or more people) in cash or equivalent foreign currency.
Phuket Weather
- Phuket's tropical climate delivers a year-round average of 28°C, with monthly means ranging from 26.4°C in December to 29.7°C in April and May.
- The dry season runs November through February — December is the driest month (69.4mm rainfall) and temperatures cool to a comfortable 26.4 to 27.4°C range.
- The rainy season spans May to October, with September the wettest month at around 320mm; the hottest stretch is March through May, when temperatures can top 35°C with high humidity.
※ Prices and policies vary by season and are subject to change. Confirm with official sources before booking.
