Very surprised at level of service even for a Titanium member. Called and spoke to front desk the day before to request early check-in due to business meetings. Informed that request was made. At check-in informed no request was noted. Was informed I could try and find a place in extremely busy and noisy hotel to take video meetings. Overall check-in and check-out procedures disorganized and was informed different information from different people at front desk. Seemed hotel was very disorganized and overwhelmed. At other Marriott, especially JW Marriott properties staff goes above and beyond to make sure Titanium members are receiving a very high level of service. At the JW Marriott your status did not matter, service was disorganized, overwhelmed and could not figure out how to serve their high level members. Very disappointed in the property. Would not recommend for others to stay especially over a weekend. Room for a JW Marriott was horrible!! Furniture was damaged, carpeting was dirty and sticky and walls dirty. Definitely a party room. This had to be one of the worst rooms in the hotel. Provided feedback to front desk and was told ”nothing they could do as the hotel was busy and there was nothing they could do even for Titanium members”; ”also you are in Nashville where all rooms have wear and tear as this is a party city”! Could not believe it; a JW Marriott property telling customers that customers should expect damaged rooms in Nashville since Nashville is a party city! Can't believe a JW Marriott likes that reputation. Sat in bar area for evening drinks each night and every night had to ask at least 4 times for a glass of water! Lastly, the Bourbon and Steak restaurant has amazing views and fantastic food however the service was HORRIBLE. All servers we had were rude, condescending and had an attitude that we were bothering them. We had a party of six and my wife and I had a very late lunch that day. We met our party and we both ordered salads as we were not hungry for a large dinner at 5pm (only time we could get into restaurant which was OK). Waitstaff rolled their eyes when we placed our order and were very condescending toward us for my wife and I not having a large meal. At one point we were asked several times ”are you sure you do not want to order something else?” This was after multiple times explaining we had a very late lunch and could not eat a large dinner. Julian at L27, the rooftop bar/pool/restaurant on the top of the Westin, was simply amazing!! He handled our orders with perfection, made certain we had refills as needed, & made us never have to look for him! He was a fantastic waiter & a wonderful fount of information about Nashville!! The location of the hotel is good, you can see Vanderbilt University from the window, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Vanderbilt University, including waiting for the red light.
The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a suite with a living room. Fully equipped kitchen. The unexpected surprise is that the hotel has a free dinner before 7:00 p.m. The dishes are simple, including salad, cheese, local porridge and fried rolls, etc., but there is free flow of beer and red wine, as well as live performances by singers. It is indeed a city of music hotel. The hotel provides coffee and boiled water for free all day, but there is no free bottled water.FromHK$1,245

Stayed at the Loews Vanderbilt for a weekend to go to the Titans / Raiders game. While this hotel is out by Vanderbilt (about a mile and a half from downtown), you can get to downtown easy enough by UBER, or an electric scooter (if that is your thing). Friendly staff, very clean hotel. Good bar with good food. With the expense of the room they need to be more cost effective in other areas to help families out especially during these times. 45 per day for parking is extreme and the food prices were priced 45 percent higher then most other food in the area. So it was super convenient, the valet was easy and the check in process super smooth. The rooms are nothing to write home about. The bathrooms are what really need to be updated. Old style tub shower. The sinks are on the carpet outside the bathroom. You could easily relay out that set up and have two sinks all on tile inside the bathroom and go to a more of a modern glass shower. For the price you pay you'd like that.FromHK$1,636

Hotel was great, not close enough to downtown but only a 7 min Uber ride away. Lots of food options within walking distance: Chipotle, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Arby's. I had a great view of the Nashville skyline. Service was okay, no housekeeping throughout the stay regardless of length of stay. Called front desk for extra towels but they told me to go collect them myself because they're understaffed. Our stay was great! From the valet to the front desk the service was wonderful. The hotel is definitely unique, and surprisingly quiet since it's in downtown Nashville. Lots of things to do within walking distance. I want to give a big thank you to Brianna, at the front desk. Brianna went above and beyond on the morning of our departure when the shared valet was bogged down, she made sure we got our car in a timely fashion that helped us to get back on the road before the rush hour traffic. |0.57km from west elmStayed at this hotel at the end of May 2022. Have stayed at surrounding hotels without issue. This hotel had poor customer service. That said; Front desk staff was nice. The breakfast was excellently managed with staff that cared and kept it clean and stocked. Now the bad. Upon check-in I asked if the rooms Are automatically cleaned or if I needed to request. I was told I would need to request - so I did. Arrived in the room it was warm and noticed thermostat was restricted from going any lower than 68. Contacted front desk for additional pillows and a request to lower the minimum on the thermostat. They said they would work on having that done. Arrived back to the room late that night thermostat had not been adjusted nor had the pillows been delivered. Saturday morning. Headed down and had a great breakfast - already commented above. Stopped by front desk to request again the room be cleaned to make sure they put it on the list which each time I saw them write it down. I also asked for the pillows and for the air conditioner please be lowered as temperatures are starting to get hot in Nashville. Upon coming back to the room late Saturday night nothing had been done - room was a mess no towels no shampoo no soap, etc. Room was warm and uncomfortable. Stopped by the front desk they were very nice told me that I would need to talk to the general manager about the issues. They gave me the general managers card. I then returned to the room and wrote a detailed email to the general manager of which to this day four days later I have not heard back from that person. I have also called a couple different times and without a single response. My suggestion is that you stay at a different hotel in the surrounding area. I have stayed in others without issue and there are choices. Rather aggravated that I’ve heard nothing from the general manager. I paid over 300 a night for a miserable experience.

That kind of put a damper on things because we paid and selected a corner room away from the elevator and main hall. We just moved on and didn’t press the issue. Desk attendant didn’t seem to want to make it right and I wasn’t in the mood to argue. We were just grateful we made it there. Room was good but when your pay a fair amount of money for a hotel like the Hilton it really should just offer standard things. Wi-Fi, parking. Room would have been great with a microwave to warm up food. Refrigerator and iron both had issues. Overall stay was good but not sure we would book with Hilton again.

There are plenty of shopping and dining options right outside the door. The apartments are outfitted with comfortable beds and linens, full kitchens, a safe underground garage and much more space than any of the hotel options. We use this location for multiple night stays and single night stays.

Will be staying at Residence Inn Nashville Green Hills (which is next door to this Courtyard hotel) on Friday night and hope to have a better experience.

He price is about right an I would definitely stay here again. There’s a couple things that need to be worked out. It took them 3 rooms to get me a room with a cable running to the tv. I’m a lifetime diamond member and choose breakfast as my perk. I was charge for breakfast each day and didn’t really have time to deal with it. I’m sure it’s an honest mistake and training just hasn’t set in yet. It’s a good property, I think they’ll get it figured out.

I did not have to clean,spray disinfectant, deal with peculiar smells,no moving shadows at night, nor others trash. Property is diligently maintained. Feel safe and confident of our choice to stay here. Danette Mahabeer & Donald Meddling were,are welcoming, very thorough, knowledgeable and represent Quality of ESA. They have a strong positive ESA team here. Other ESA have good points as well but this on on West End shows team work from all angles.
