Good hotel. The room I booked was equipped with a table, dishes, and nice furniture. The bathroom, floors, and walls were a bit dated, and perhaps needed updating, but it was still nice. When I got to my room, I had to reset the TV, which had no channels.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. It was equipped with wifi, TV, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, heater, and everything worked well. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location of this hotel is not so far from the center and near to the European Parliament, which is quite safe in my opinion. Highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel.

Located around 20 minutes from the central. Easily accesible by bus. Basic facilities and the toilet and shower are outside of the room. Room did come with cooking facilities and fridge.

Check-in is from 4pm. It was written at the entrance that the gate code for the entrance would be sent by email, but it had not been sent. There were several people who didn't know how to get in like me, and one of them ended up calling the hotel. Then a staff member came out and we were able to get in. The explanation and system for how to get in are sloppy. The reviews said that the rooms were moldy and dirty, but the rooms were clean and there were towels, so there was nothing in particular.

The room itself is large, got a living room , bedroom , kitchen and bathroom. The heating system is great. I All the facilities are out of dated. But useful. The plug is not many located. The bathroom is always full of smoke smell. Not too bad for 3 nights in over all.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The room was beautifully decorated that day, and it brought tears to my eyes. There were heart-shaped decorations and flower petals on the bed, and a bottle of sparkling wine was provided. The decorations were also on the table and in the bathroom, which was very touching. We are truly grateful for the warm hospitality of everyone at the hotel. This hotel is really old... Don't let the five-star rating fool you, it feels more like a three-star. The elevator is incredibly slow, from 1999! The furniture in the room is also very dated. The front desk sells bottled water in glass bottles for 8 euros a pop – ridiculous. As our Belgian client told us, the hotel's location is right between a safe area and an unsafe one. It's close to the light rail, but there's no elevator from the light rail station to the street level, which is quite annoying. Walking to the city center is fairly convenient though. For the price, it offers good value for money; other hotels in the same area are more expensive.

Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

As a pleasant surprise, I met a Thai staff member working at the reception desk, which made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Best location you can ask for - quiet street, but right next to all the major landmarks, 2 min walk from Brussels train station, hundreds of restaurants within 5-10 min walking distance, 8-10 min walking distance from both Asian and local supermarkets. The room itself is a classic design, but a bit dated. The best was the 2 closets. there’s one next to the bed and one next to the bathroom. The bathtub shower is a disaster as water splashes out everywhere with the glass pane and the air ventilation is nonexistent. Hot showers mean everything will be fogged up and bathroom smells stay for a longer period of time. The gym is decent with a self-checkout snack bar. Weights are a little wonky. The adjustable dumbbell was half broken, only fixed by a very nice guest. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. The housekeeping was not. We called the front desk for a missing floor towel and the housekeeping never delivered it for 4 hours until I went down to complain. We also called for a tissue box since it was finished and It was also never delivered despite calling 4-5 times over the course of 2 days. We called in the morning, afternoon and night. Never delivered. That is the worst housekeeping staff I have ever met in my years of traveling around the world in 4 star hotels. It is either they are lazy as hell or the front desk never followed up on whether the items are delivered or not. That’s the reason why I wrote this detailed review.

The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired: It's difficult to sit on the toilet, even for someone of normal build (bars for people with reduced mobility are installed, making it hard to sit down; I can't imagine the difficulties people with reduced mobility would face), the sink is cracked, and there are missing floor grout lines. The breakfast and the staff in charge of breakfast were even worse: everything was cold, not even lukewarm (eggs, bacon, potatoes, mushrooms, etc.). We pointed this out to the staff, who then realized the warming trays weren't plugged in. There was a chef available and hot dishes in the kitchen, but their only solution was to plug the warming trays back in and tell us the problem would resolve itself. Not even an apology. It's worth noting that the front desk staff, both at check-in and check-out, were professional. This hotel should be avoided; it's a 5-star on paper, but at best, a 3-star in reality.

I was in Brussels for a ten-day business trip, and this hotel is really close to Midi (South) Station, just a few minutes' walk across the road. The front desk staff were nice. Just a heads up, there's a city tax that needs to be paid upon arrival. There's a small restaurant on the ground floor where guests were having drinks and beer. Breakfast is served on the other side of the elevators, but we didn't opt for it as it was a bit pricey. Luggage storage is self-service in the basement. The large lockers can fit two 24-inch suitcases plus a backpack or two. I think it was €10 for the day, and you can access your luggage multiple times. It has a dual password setup, with both numbers and a pattern. Check-in is at 3 PM. You use your card to access the upper floors. Once in the room, the space was decent and had everything we needed. As is typical in Europe, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. There's no complimentary bottled water, so I'd recommend buying some from the supermarket nearby. The Carrefour inside South Station has large SPA mineral water bottles for under €2. The overall accommodation environment is as shown in the pictures. The bed was quite large; two of us slept comfortably without feeling cramped. Oh, and the shower room comes with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, which is a big plus! They change the trash bags and tidy up the bedding daily. We left our suitcases in the room without any valuables inside. The lock I bought beforehand didn't really come in handy (I'd heard about safety concerns around South Station before coming, but our actual experience was quite good).

Very simple and modern way to have access to your room with the help of your own smartphone. Wardrobe or locker is insider’s room to store your stuffs. The room is spacious and the breakfast is great with a wide variety of options. When I booked, I saw the description mentioned a parking lot, but it's actually not directly with the hotel. You have to turn right a few tens of meters further to the Interparking Brussels-parking Grand Place. This is a public car park, but it's super convenient as the elevator exit from the car park is right next to the hotel entrance.
