Villa is located close to the sea, so it is convenient to swim in the early morning. Villa is fully equipped with necessary equipment, beautiful furniture and quite luxurious in the old European style. The current location is still in a relatively remote area, far from entertainment and eating centers, so it is quite difficult to go to eat. If you drive a car, it's not very convenient to come, and if you call a car to pick you up, you have to wait a long time. The parking lot is located outside the sea area, but there is no shuttle to take guests from outside to the villa, have to walk, so it is also difficult for elderly and travel.

It was overall a great and super comfy stay ! Everything is amazing including the rooms, private pool & beach views where sun rise and sun set is truly amazing ! Only thing is that the caddy vehicle is not available to brings us to the main gate during check in or daily when we are going out and we need to walk like 5mins from the villa to the gate, not an issue daily but when checking in with many luggages can be tiring under scorched sun…

The hotel's attention to detail is impressive; the dressing table is perfectly sized for makeup. The breakfast spread is extensive, but it can get crowded, so I recommend going early to snag a sea-view table. Both restaurants within the hotel offer excellent food, far surpassing the quality of establishments outside. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets from both the room and the infinity pool. However, the beach outside the hotel has strong waves, making it unsuitable for swimming.
All staff, including the cleaning crew, were incredibly polite. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to. The hotel is a few hundred meters walk from external massage shops, and right next door is a mud bath (the mud bath service is poor, so I wouldn't bother). The hotel is very thoughtful; if you arrive before check-in time, they provide changing rooms and showers so guests can use the pool facilities beforehand. The hotel's own spa experience was superb; the therapist Anna provided meticulous and thoughtful service. I went twice during my four-night stay, and almost each time, I was the only guest.
The only minor drawback is that water leaks from the shower into the rest of the bathroom.FromINR 16,151

Stay was amazing and so relaxing! The resort is located conveniently. It is 10-15mins away from the airport and easy to get to South and North side. There are a lot of massage places nearby, as well as laundry. Plus, Duong Dong street is nearby as well. The pool is right in front of the beach and can see the sunset too! It’s beautiful! The breakfast buffet is great and the service is fast as well. The housekeeping does an amazing services. Through out the day, they would make up our room a lot of times and everyone we came back, room was freshly cleaned and they would always leave some cute little gifts like tea bags, massage oils or even mosquito repellent.
And, OH MY GOD, My boyfriend also surprised me with a proposal here! Wow, it was a beautiful set up by the beach! We watched the sunset and had dinner at the beach. It was so pretty! 🌴 Phu Quoc | This time, I stayed in a place that truly allows you to relax.
On this trip to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, we stayed at the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc.
As a five-star resort, my first impression was: this place is truly beautiful.
The hotel grounds are spacious and open. My favorite part was the enormous lagoon-style pool that runs through the entire resort; the water looked especially inviting under the sun. The hotel also has a private beach facing the ocean. Feeling the sea breeze in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, doing absolutely nothing, is already a treat.
The room was equally satisfying. It was comfortable and spacious, with a large, cozy bed. What I loved most was the small kitchenette, which made it feel less like a 'just sleeping for one night and leaving' situation, even when staying for several days.
Many people choose hotels hoping to be as close to the city center as possible.
But for me, it's quite the opposite.
This hotel is about ten kilometers from Duong Dong city center, approximately a 17-minute motorbike ride.
Because this trip to Phu Quoc wasn't packed with activities, and I didn't have any must-visit spots on my list. The area where the hotel is located is relatively quiet, not as bustling as the city center. There's a Sonasea commercial area nearby, making it fairly convenient for dining or buying daily necessities.
During the day, I would simply stroll around the hotel, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy the sea breeze by the beach. If I wanted to go out, I'd ride a motorbike at a leisurely pace.
No rushing, no itinerary, and no specific tasks to accomplish.
This is the kind of vacation I truly wanted. In the past, when traveling, I always thought, 'Since I'm here, I must go somewhere or see something.' Now, being able to find a comfortable place, sit quietly, and let my mind slow down is already wonderful.
If you're like me – you love quiet, the seaside, and truly unwinding rather than rushing from one attraction to another every day – I would highly recommend the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc.
Five-star facilities, a sprawling pool, a private beach, comfortable rooms, plus a relatively serene resort atmosphere...
Being close to the hustle and bustle isn't the only definition of convenience; sometimes, being a little further from the noise is what true vacation is all about. 🌊🌴

It's perfectly fine to stay here as long as you don't expect a 5-star experience; Novotel isn't a brand that exclusively operates 5-star resorts, after all.
The hotel facilities are great, and the grounds are expansive. The atmosphere in the afternoon is lovely, and the path to the beach at night is very romantic. I also appreciate their insect control efforts; for such a large area, there were surprisingly few mosquitoes and bugs.
However, don't expect much from the service or in-room amenities. Just treat it like you're staying in a business hotel. There's a wall-mounted hairdryer in the bathroom, and I wanted to borrow another one to use in the room. I called countless times, and they kept saying they were looking for it or sending it, but after three nights, the hairdryer never showed up.

For our three nights in Phu Quoc, we chose to stay on the North Island. After looking at several hotels, we settled on this one. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service, which you can book in advance for airport pick-up, though there are specific pick-up times, and it's a large bus. The hotel has its own beach, a pool, and even a small amusement park. Our kids spent every day in the pool and at the beach, making these the most relaxing days of our Vietnam trip. The environment is excellent, and the service is on point. The twin room was very spacious. NOT RECOMMENDED!! IF u expecting the visitor after 10pm. I was booking in room massage from legal/registered massage shop after long day outdoor activities.
Upon my therapist arrived at 10:41pm and called me said that reception staffs NOT allowed guest enter guest room after 10pm and left.
I had made a called to reception to informed them about my therapist is there but staff insisting NOT allowed visitor after 10pm then I asked again even my friend BUT still same result. (It's included family as long as they're not stay to their hotel then treated as VISITOR).
I'm so upset and read the hotel policies from trip.com but totally no mentioned at all and even their ”Hotel Policy Board” located right infront the reception desk can't find this claused too (refer to attached photo).
Also, I had talked to the staff and request them to show me the hotel policy but the staff just tried to searched from their computer and even get the security manager to approached me. Same result, no way for them to present me the hotel policies with this claused.
One thing I must complimenting is their overall service is good and friendly staffs BUT NOT this Ridiculous policy which undisclosed to the public!!

Regarding friends or family members staying at another hotel, the same visitor procedure applies. If you have a visitor during the allowed time, you must pass by reception to register them to be a visitor and they must leave your room before 10PM.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come again. The pool is large and pleasant, with easy access to the beach. We stayed in a 3BR villa, which was very nice and very spacious.
The resort is very spread out, but they offer tuk tuks to take people from the villas to the main areas - with few exceptions they arrived quickly.
The weather was not really great for swimming at the beach (strong winds and current), but we were generally content to spend our time at the pool.
Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options, including Asian and Western food. I do wish the coffee at breakfast had been better. The spa on site is very good, the massage we booked included facial and foot treatment.
A few minor annoyances to note:
- One of our showers had no hot water on arrival. This took two requests over two days to get resolved.
- Despite a full kitchen, the villa has almost no dishes or utensils, only enough for making coffee/tea.
- Some amenities unexpectedly came with extra charge. We encountered this after reserving a tennis court. The fee is reasonable, but there was no indication of a fee until we showed up at the court and someone came to collect.
- Communication with staff was sometimes an issue. Be prepared to use a translation app if a request is not simple.FromINR 9,109

The hotel breakfast was decent, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept quite well. It shares a beach with the JW Marriott. It rained during my stay, so I mostly stayed in the room. The room type I was in had a slight odor, which improved when the air conditioning was set colder. Because of the smell, I switched rooms. The front desk staff and housekeeping were both very good, but the overall coordination felt a bit disjointed, so changing rooms took some time. However, everyone was exceptionally polite, so it wasn't a major issue. Overall, it was quite good. We loved our stay. The hotel has convenient access to the beach and included all the facilities we needed. The restaurants were awesome, especially the sea shack restaurant is right facing the sea. There’s a highest point in the phu quoc island as INK 360 at the 19th floor, the bar has great music and atmosphere, would be good for both couples or families.
Our room has quiet forest facing, we can see the river and trees when opening the curtain. Closing the door it was very silent and we can only hear birds early waking up in the morning.

This hotel is excellent in every aspect, from its hardware facilities and natural environment to its service – I was thoroughly impressed. As a rather discerning traveler, I have almost nothing to complain about. It's a night-and-day difference compared to my previous stay at Wyndham.
The hotel's design concept is set against a fictional European university. The lobby decor is elegant, without excessive luxury or ostentation. Upon check-in, you don't need to go to the front desk yourself; simply sit down and relax, and someone will come over to offer a welcome drink and process your check-in. Afterward, a buggy will take you to your room, and it's available on-call throughout your stay.
Each building has a theme, based on the departments of this virtual university. The rooms are well-designed with great views. Upon entering, we found a welcome coconut from the hotel, and they had also thoughtfully prepared children's toothbrushes and small slippers in advance. After turndown service, they even folded a small elephant out of towels for the child, which shows their meticulous attention to detail.
The service was also satisfactory. Almost every staff member I encountered, whether on beach duty or tending to the gardens, would actively smile and greet guests. They tried their best to fulfill my requests during my stay and even provided a complimentary extra bed for my child because of my larger size, allowing us to rest better.
Regarding dining, the breakfast at the hotel was diverse and of good quality. It wasn't like many hotels where there's a dazzling array of food but only a few edible options. Our whole family found food they loved, and I particularly recommend the coconut coffee, eggs Benedict, and Vietnamese steamed rice rolls. The bar, inspired by a chemistry lab, is worth a visit, and the apple pie at the cafe was a hit with the kids. We didn't go to the Pink Pearl restaurant for dinner; instead, we ate at the same place as breakfast, and the food was good, and the price was reasonable. I recommend the roasted beef ribs – they were tender and flavorful.
For entertainment, the beach sand is soft and fine, the water is warm and shallow, with no big waves. Free kayaks are available, and you can see many interesting small things like starfish in the clear water. The hotel also has an app. After downloading it, you can participate in a hotel-wide scavenger hunt for hidden QR codes. Following the map on the app feels like playing a computer game. After scanning all 48 codes, you can redeem a 1 million VND voucher at the front desk, which can be directly used for various hotel expenses – a truly satisfying achievement.
As for drawbacks, if I had to nitpick, the pool and beach close a bit early, the refrigerator in the room had slightly poor cooling, and while the bed was comfortable, it was a bit noisy, creaking with every slight turn. These are minor issues that didn't affect my satisfaction with this stay at all. Next time I come to Phu Quoc, I won't need to go anywhere else; I'll just stay at this hotel until I return home.FromINR 29,066

We booked a family room, which was really nice. It was essentially two rooms with separate entrances that were interconnected, like a connecting room. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two children. The hotel has a large outdoor pool and provides towels for guests. There's also a small children's playground where kids can play, though it closes at 5 PM on weekdays, which is a bit early. The hotel's breakfast was also good, with a decent variety. It goes until 10:30 AM, which is better than hotels that finish breakfast at 10 AM! The hotel's location is also great, not far from the attractions. Disappointing stay despite excellent staff
Stayed at Sheraton Phu Quoc for 7 nights in a Senior Suite. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
The room had a very strong paint smell as the floor and furniture had just been painted, with some furniture still wet enough to leave marks. The room also had a musty smell, the pillows were unpleasant-smelling, the bathroom door could not close properly, and the USB ports did not work. The non-slip slippers provided were also unsafe, and we had near-misses in the bathroom and balcony. I eventually had to buy my own pillow and slippers. A live cockroach was also found in the shower one morning.
Breakfast at Daily Social had a good and abundant spread, but basic service issues persisted. I had to ask for napkins every morning, and despite raising the issue with the floor manager from Day 2, staff continued sweeping the floor while guests were still eating.
There was also poor coordination regarding my approved late check-out. My room access was disabled at 1pm even though I had been granted a late check-out, forcing me to return to reception to resolve the issue.
The one major positive was the staff. The door captains, porters, drivers, spa team and Daily Social staff were consistently polite, warm and helpful. They were genuinely wonderful.
Overall, while the staff were excellent, the room condition, cleanliness, safety concerns, maintenance and operational coordination were disappointing and not what I would expect from a Sheraton property.FromINR 8,054

The hygiene needs improvement. In the morning, before I went out for breakfast, I found a dead cockroach. I thought someone would clean it up later, so I didn't call the front desk. But when I came back after breakfast, it was still there. So, when I went out, I informed the front desk in the lobby about the dead cockroach and asked them to send someone to clean it up immediately. My opinion is mixed. The hotel's location is great, but it's quite noisy (thin walls, construction). It's a shame it's not very well-maintained; it has the potential to be super. The staff was very responsive. We had an issue with our room because the hotel was full, but they immediately understood and changed our room. However, this new room was very dark and rather gloomy, with a view of a tree instead of the garden. It wasn't possible for us to stay multiple days in that room. They understood right away and gave us a brighter room with a pool view. There are 3 pools for those who like to swim, otherwise the beach is right in front, which is fantastic. For breakfast, I prefer sweet over savory, so it was a bit disappointing for me as there was only coffee, bread, and a few fruits. Still, it was decent.
