The description of the location of the house is true. The condition of the house is much better than the picture, and it is spacious. The community is clean and quiet, with some elderly and children common. It is recommended to mark the switch of the toilet light and the switch of the water heater so as not to be confused by the residents. It was an electric water heater. At first I thought it was natural gas. It used hot water all the time, but then there was no hot water. . . There is wifi. The second bedroom is next to the aisle outside, not noisy, but the street lights are always on at night, and the curtains are not shaded, which still affects sleep a bit.

The location is just south of Xiamen University, and to the south is the beach. It is a great location. The surrounding life is convenient. Walking to the west is Shapowei, the southern Fujian city, ancient art, and a lot of food. The Petronas Twin Towers are on the side, modern and market are not in conflict. Antique bookstores, farmers' markets, breakfast food, and seafood feasts all make people feel like living slowly! The landlord’s house can cook, which fully satisfies the slow life. Bad luck, multiple rooms on the same floor are being renovated, the sound of decoration starts at 9 o'clock, the formaldehyde smells very good, and the room is filled everywhere. Two rooms were set, one room had no internet, and the air conditioner was not very useful. The big room is fine in all aspects, the TV is useless, there is a bed that is not carefully hygienic, and the quilt cover is not cleaned or what is the reason.

I booked a non-smoking executive suite, which was larger than a standard room, making it convenient for luggage and storing odds and ends. However, the hotel breakfast was the worst I've ever had. Firstly, upon entering, no one was there to seat us, and the organization was chaotic. There was even one person occupying a four-person table alone. The food quality was poor; it was essentially vegetarian with no meat. The only edible items were bread, fried eggs, and noodle soup. For the price paid, this level of quality was truly disappointing, especially since I had to endure it for three days. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the Dongdu Ferry Terminal.

What an unexpected gem of a hotel, highly recommend! Let me start by praising the service. Service: It was quite late when my child and I arrived, but the front desk patiently helped me book the hotel's shuttle for T4 Terminal the next morning. The shuttle driver was incredibly warm and attentive. First, he reminded us to be on time for pickup, then helped us with our luggage, even though we only had one suitcase. Later, I realized I'd left my shirt in the restaurant, and the driver kindly delivered it to the terminal for me. We also left my child's medication in the hotel fridge, and the front desk staff went above and beyond, contacting the new guests in our old room to retrieve it for us. Environment: If you're going to T3 Terminal, you can walk directly there, which is super convenient. I expected it to be noisy since it's so close to the airport, but it was surprisingly quiet. The standard room was also very spacious with a wet/dry bathroom separation, which I was very pleased with.

I could watch the sunset from the comfort of my bed. The room boasts an elegant new-Chinese design, complete with a round viewing bathtub and high-quality amenities. Thoughtful touches like a tea set and welcome fruit were provided, and turndown service included local Minnan snacks – the attention to detail was exceptional. Cathy provided warm and attentive service, making the check-in process efficient, and the concierge proactively helped with my luggage. The heated pool on the fourth floor and the 24-hour sea-view gym offer fantastic views. Breakfast was extensive, with a wide variety of local snacks, seafood, and noodle stations. It's a peaceful and healing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the island, perfect for a vacation or family trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiamen!

We stayed for three nights during the summer holiday, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb, right in the bustling city center, very close to all the attractions. It's about a 10-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, and roughly a 10-minute bus ride to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. From our sea-view room, we could see the 'Zheng Chenggong' statue on Gulangyu Island, and at night, we enjoyed the stunning view of the Shapowei Twin Towers. This hotel is definitely the top choice for a trip to Xiamen. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and very refined. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and spotless. Housekeeping was impeccable; the bath towels and hand towels were even individually packaged, showing great attention to detail in room management. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including many local Xiamen specialties like peanut soup and savory noodle paste, which tasted exceptional. The restaurant environment was also very pleasant. The hotel staff provided excellent service. The security guards at the entrance proactively helped with luggage and calling taxis, and the front desk concierge service was also top-notch. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

My kids had been begging to stay at a hotel for ages. I was looking for a luxurious resort by the sea – no flying required – with a water park, a beach, and a kids' club for a few days. Then I stumbled upon this place! After checking out the facilities and reviews, it perfectly matched all my criteria. I booked a 3-night stay on a certain travel app, about half a month in advance. I was so worried about rain and checked the weather forecast daily. I specifically chose the only few rain-free days of the month, with temperatures over 30 degrees, perfect for swimming! You can never go wrong with a five-star hotel; an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari! There are absolutely no downsides. Initially, I was a bit nervous because some reviews mentioned the breakfast being very poor. However, the main building and the Water Garden have two separate buffet breakfast restaurants. When checking in, the front desk didn't know how long we'd have to wait for a room, so they upgraded us and even included a complimentary hotel afternoon tea! I was shocked to find we were upgraded to a poolside room in the Water Garden! This was a room type I wouldn't even dream of… so touching! However, staying in the main building and the Water Garden each has its advantages. The main building is super convenient for the kids' club and water park, including room service. The Water Garden doesn't have a kids' club, and its pool only has one slide. (But hotels with water features tend to be a bit humid overall; the bed always felt slightly damp, much like our plum rain season, and clothes took forever to dry, even though it was sunny). 1. The buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had. I've stayed in many high-end beach hotels both domestically and internationally, but this one offered fresh squeezed juices daily! I've never seen that before. And you could keep getting Eggs Benedict; the quality was like having a fancy brunch at a Western restaurant. You'll likely find everything you want! The hours were 7:00-10:30 AM, so you barely needed lunch. 2. Although you need to call a shuttle to get from the Water Garden to the main building, they're always responsive, and they even help deliver some takeout. The most memorable moment was one evening when I went to the lobby to buy Haagen-Dazs late at night. The lobby staff had to help scoop it. I bought three scoops, and one of the kids accidentally knocked over their ice cream. We were going to scoop off the top layer for ourselves and give the remaining one to the child, but the staff immediately scooped a fresh one! It was so touching! While there were a few individual staff members who weren't as good, overall, the service was fantastic! 3. The bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Although I wasn't a fan of the pillows, the bed itself was truly comfortable! The 2-meter bed comfortably slept 2 small children and 1 adult. The hotel can also install bed rails, which were very effective! Unlike other family-friendly hotels I've stayed at where they easily loosen, these rails were great; no need to worry about the kids falling off at night. 4. The beach was a bit of a walk, quite far for small children, as you had to go through an underground tunnel with lots of stairs up and down, crossing the main Huan Dao Nan Road. You could exit directly from the hotel by swiping your card. On the way, we saw so many giant African snails – a new experience, I'd never seen them in real life before. 5. The kids' club was huge, and the activities were plentiful! You could genuinely just relax at the hotel; if you have young kids and don't want to venture out, this is the perfect choice! 6. Most importantly, there were so many of my beloved frangipani flowers here! Fresh frangipani often fell into the pool. I thought I'd only see frangipani again if I went to Thailand!!! But I found them here, which was so touching!!! There were also many fruit trees at the hotel; a wax apple tree was right by the lobby entrance, and I think I even saw a jackfruit tree while riding the little train around the grounds!!! The whole hotel made me feel like I was in Thailand… 7. The welcome fruits were not perfunctory and very fresh! The minibar was the most luxurious I've ever seen!!!!! The Xiamen beer was hohoho delicious~! You can always trust the experience of a five-star hotel! If you're also looking for a hotel to just relax and have fun with your kids, choose this one! I'd be happy to choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiamen, especially if I could stay in a poolside room again, that would be pure joy, hahaha.

Facilities: The design elements have a distinctive Nanyang flair. The biggest advantage of this hotel is quite simple – it's right on the beach. No fuss, you can step onto the sand just a few minutes after walking out of the lobby. There aren't many hotels in Xiamen that are literally right on the sea, so this is definitely a big plus. It's located in Tong'an District, not far from Xiamen North Station, super close to Jimei, and also very near to ”Chu Yuxun's house” (a popular local reference, haha). If you're coming by high-speed rail, you can check in quickly after arriving, which is great for those looking for a relaxing two-day weekend getaway. Hygiene and Environment: It truly lives up to its five-star brand – clean and hygienic, giving you peace of mind. You can see the sea from the hotel lobby and also while dining in the restaurant, which is really comfortable. 😊 What truly deserves special praise is the breakfast 🥣 – excellent value for money. There's a wide variety, including local specialties like Shacha noodles and five-spice rolls. The service staff are all very enthusiastic and provide prompt service. With a Marriott brand like this offering such a great breakfast 🍳, what more could you ask for? Haha!

The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

An absolutely amazing hotel!!! The industrial-style decor is very well-designed, and the welcome drink was incredibly delicious! Every staff member was super friendly. They even offer services like storing parcels and luggage, and they always replied instantly whenever I contacted them online. The room was clean and comfortable, really great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xiamen.
