I missed the first night staying there because my flight got canceled. I tried to call about the circumstances, but nobody picked up.
The next day, I came in, my entire booking (4 days, 3 nights) got canceled because I didnt show up on the first day, despite I already paid full for the entire stay. Thankfully, the hotel has the greatest and most helpful front desk officer. He explained to me in details about the rules and his condition, running the hotel on his own (mostly) during the day; hence, it was difficult for him to pick my phone call the previous day. However, he was able to grab me one night stay at the hotel.
The hotel was okay, but the front desk service was exquisite!

Breakfast was great and different on the two mornings that we enjoyed it complimentarily. The manager was great and found extra left over luggage space for us even if the area behind the front desk was full during our checkout. Elevator was great to use between floors with our heavy luggage. Complimentary cold and hot drinks in the lobby is a nice welcoming touch...

This is a great hotel
1. First of all, the location is very good, located on Park Avenue and 28th Street, next to Fifth Avenue and only 1 minute away from the 28th Street subway station, which is very convenient for going to North or South Manhattan. We took the subway to Sumit, then walked along the way to Times Square and the shopping street, and finally passed the Empire State Building and walked back in less than half an hour!
2. A 5-minute walk away is a large supermarket WholeFood. It has a large buffet restaurant with a lot of oriental food, which is very convenient and delicious. There are nearly 10 kinds of soups to choose from. The buffet has a lot of cold dishes and cooked food. It feels like the problem of eating is completely solved. In addition, it also includes a sushi restaurant and a pizza restaurant, so no matter what kind of diet you need, it can be solved. Although the price is not as cheap as imagined, in New York, I think it is worth the money 😊
3. Although the equipment in the room is a bit old, it is modern so it doesn't look old. In addition, the size of the room is considered large in New York, which is a big advantage.
4. We stayed here for four nights. Room number 1401 was at least very quiet. The air conditioner, which is the most criticized in the United States, was very noisy. It didn't happen here at all. And its LCD air conditioner control was the simplest and most convenient to adjust by myself that I have ever used, so I slept well for four nights.
5. The staff is of good quality and helpful. The room service is mainly Chinese, so there is no problem in communication. They are also very polite, so I think this is a plus.FromUS$247

The hotel is right in the heart of Times Square. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of malls, souvenir shops, convenience stores, and popular restaurants – it's incredibly convenient. Although it's a Marriott property, it definitely doesn't live up to a five-star standard; it's more comparable to a budget hotel in China. The lobby is on the 8th floor, and you're pretty much on your own throughout your stay, with no real service to speak of. The room itself is very spacious, indeed over 30 square meters, so opening four suitcases at once is no problem. However, for those with higher expectations for a hotel, the room facilities and general environment are quite ordinary, especially considering the price isn't cheap at all. Even coming in the off-season in mid-November, it was nearly 3,000 per night.FromUS$269

I’ll start with the positives: the hotel has an excellent location and the breakfasts are really tasty.
Unfortunately, the rest of the stay was quite disappointing.
At check-in, we were told there had been a leak in the room and that there was a stain on the carpet. That wasn’t a huge issue for us. But the room itself was very small — especially around the beds. Looking at the floor plan, other rooms seemed to have a much better layout.
Bottled drinking water wasn’t replaced in the room. When we asked, we were told it was “complimentary” — but that didn’t explain why it wasn’t restocked.
The TV remote didn’t work — but to be fair, it was replaced quickly. The sink drain was stuck shut — also fixed promptly. Towels weren’t changed until we specifically requested it.
When the shampoo ran out, they first brought shower gel and just left it on the bed. After asking again, they replaced it with shampoo — but never refilled the dispenser in the shower, even after several days of housekeeping.
The wardrobe for coats is in the far corner of the room, so you can’t hang your jacket by the entrance — you have to walk through the whole room first.
Overall, the room was very dusty — thick dust on the safe, wardrobe, and microwave, which clearly hadn’t been wiped in a long time.
Great location and breakfast, but the cleanliness and attention to detail really let this hotel down.FromUS$106

The room itself is actually great value for money, but the facilities are basic. There's no paid drinking water in the room, and you have to go to the second floor to buy it, which is really inconvenient. Downstairs, there's a place to store luggage, but not overnight. The location is convenient; it's a 5-6 minute walk to the Charging Bull, and you can easily walk to the New York Stock Exchange and other financial areas. There's a subway entrance directly across from the hotel, with at least four platforms nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to the South Ferry. If you buy a New York City unlimited weekly subway pass, getting around is super easy from here.FromUS$112

The location is really good and easy to access, i stayed only 1 night because i got there late and it's really close to the Penn station, I walked only 3-5 mins to get there. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was quick and easy to check in. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything I needed for getting ready and showering. The hotel also has good restaurants in it. Highkey has a lovely brunch and good drinks. The staff here are kind and helpful. The location is fantastic.
