Just stay at tis hotel last week n Tis is 2nd time. Rebook because it’s convenient as it’s near to SGH. Only things it’s 10mins walk to Outram park MRT n 15mins walk to Tiong Bahru MRT. But bus stop is near n easy access to Chinatown n other places. Food, many good restaurants like Tiong Bahru Bakery. Went 2 times for both stay there. Only few mins walk to the cafe.

The experience was good. It was a pleasant stay. Room was clean and spacious. Amenities were functional. Staffs were helpful and polite, especially Than Tun. The apartment is located inside a housing estate but still easily accessible via 5 - 10 mins walk from main road. Parking is available at location but paid parking. Shops are nearby. Always book this apartment when I am back in Singapore. Will definitely come again.

Great locations for local dining, especially for breakfast at the excellent food and service at Tiong Bahru bakery, it is a must try. And local cuisine on Outram road that comes to life as the sun sets. The location is opportune to local reliable and well connected train service. No food or dining at this hotel as noted on their site so don’t be disappointed ted if you don’t have fresh coffee in the lobby. You have a coffee maker in room. However, this hotel does have a mini bar in lobby for guests to use. It has microwave, toaster and bowls for noodles as well. Fresh lemon water all the time in lobby. Staff at front desk and extremely friendly and eager to point you where you need to go.

I stayed in Room 332, an 8-bunk bed dorm. While the self check-in process was straightforward, the absence of an on-site concierge made it difficult to get assistance when needed. The room lacked basic amenities such as hooks or racks to hang clothes and towels, which was quite inconvenient. Hairdryer was not available in the common area and had to be requested. Despite making the request, I never received the hairdryer during my two-night stay. Overall, the lack of essential amenities and support affected my experience.

Booked a staycation with partner at this hotel. There are 2 wings to it. A newer wing which I believe is called Orchid and an older wing. The newer wing is not bad. External appearance of the building looks old but internal is not bad at all. Was attended promptly by a friendly hotel check-in staff. Room has an unpleasant smell to it and I would encourage hotel management to seriously look at solving this problem. It's an odd smell that lingers in the room and I have seen other reviews where this is mentioned as well. There are windows in the room and you can't open them to air the room. Amenities in the room are pretty basic. No robe but there is 2 towel provided,basic toiletries,mini fridge,kettle and hair dryer. Coffee and tea is provided as well as 2 mini water bottles. The TV in the room is horrible. As can be seen in the pictures,there is structural beam which blocks ones views when watching TV. Besides that,the TV reception is really bad. The quality is poor and there is snow flake images when one is watching the TV and lack of TV watching channels. The room size is decent. Aircon was cold at first and when we reduced it down alittle,it got too warm and when we decreased the Aircon temp to cool the room again,the Aircon didn't decrease in temperature. It remained still pretty warm in the room at night. Bathroom in the room is decent size. Shower water pressure is good. The room has pretty thin walls and one can easily hear outside conversations and if someone is next door. Hotel is located pretty near town. We went to Orchard Road via bus which was just a few stops away and very convenient to get to. The hotel gives off old school Singapore vibes. Walking distance to eateries, Tiong Bahru market and there is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel that you can take bus to Orchard Road easily. Seriously would ask management to sort out the stale,bad smell in the room. Could be coming from the air vents in the room,the carpets and it's made worse by not being able to open the room windows. I would also suggest an upgrade with better TV size and quality as well as better TV reception. I feel there is better option hotels to choose for the price paid and unsure if I would return to this hotel again unless the highlighted problems are solved though I do personally like the hotel and feel the room size is decent too. Would say it's a budget hotel and ok for a one or two nights stay. But the room smell and TV is a major downfall and should be rectified by management urgently. So good! I come here before the place in the past were a bit old for the furniture but cleanliness wise is great, today i come back, it become excellent! The service not to mention fantastic. Staff is kind enough to serve you from door to lift and even care about which room you staying to serve you the best. I really like here so much. I really really have to praise THE SUPER CLEAN BEDSHEET AND ORDOURLESS PILLOW WHICH I AM SUPER IMPRESSED. THOUGH THE ROOM AND HOTEL IS QUITE AGED FROM MY VIEW OF POINT HOWEVER THEY MAINTAIN A SUPER CLEAN BED AND QUILT COVER, MATTRESS FROM MY EXPERIENCE. We book the small size room with no window and we love how it has a sunroof that we can enjoy a bit of the sunshine. The kitchen also provides daily snacks , sparkling water and microwave. They have travel powerpoints which fits our australian plug. The room is small so you might need to check the picture before booking. Very close to china town only 5 mins walk and the street where it’s located is packed with all the restaurants and bars Highly recommended for short stay!

I had a bad experience with Hotel 81 Cozy on Dec 21 and 22. 2023 I booked 2 nights for a deluxe room with a window.(Paid extra) However, when I arrived the reception gave me a smaller one with no window. I went down and showed her my reservation. She told me the room that I ordered was not ready ( It was almost 6 pm ). After 5 minutes I got a room that I ordered but the air conditioner was not working properly. The next evening, as the room was so warm, I went down and requested a room change, I was changed to a room with no window and smelly. Anyway, my whole stay in Singapore was wonderful minus the unsatisfied experience with Hotel 81 Cozy.

Service: We arrived at the guesthouse at 11 PM that night. The hotel staff was a foreign guy, and since our English wasn't great, he thoughtfully used a translation app to tell us about the important details and even personally escorted us to get water. We were really touched by that. Overall, considering how expensive land is in Singapore, this room offers pretty good value for money. It's also quite close to the subway station, making it easy to find.

Perfect accommodation for solo travellers. Room size is not very big but enough for one person with one luggage opened. Complete amenities which include aircon, TV, kettle, private bathroom, etc (free slippers provided) in the room, and an elevator in the building. Nice staff service. They would provide the best for you. They gave me a water bottle once I arrived at the hotel (it's very hot in Singapore even at dawn). I also asked for some advice to look around and they gave me all the information they could. Excellent location. Near Chinatown about 2min. 2 MRT Stations which take 3-5min by walk each.

Fell in love the moment I walked into this place. The reception area is very welcoming and calm. Check-in and check-out are both very simple and quick, and everything is digital. You don't need a key nor a card, all you need is to check-in yourself then you will have a passcode to enter your room, really advanced. I love the rooms and the entire place, so chill and calm. Toilet and showers are kept clean always; rooms are very clean and felt very new as well. Breakfast on the 5th floor is simple yet not lacking. There is laundry service as well. I did not get to explore everything, but I believe there is more in this very special place. I would not even think twice to book here again if I ever come back to Singapore.

As the name suggests, this is a capsule hotel with a futuristic, almost space-like atmosphere. However, when you open the door, you’ll find toilets and showers with the feel of an old downtown area—a fascinating blend of eras. Be careful with timing in the morning: if you try to use the toilet while cleaning is underway, the bowl will be soaking wet. I didn’t have a Singapore-specific three-prong plug, but thankfully there were two USB ports, which came in handy. The shower and toilet are combined, and it’s not always clear which is shampoo and which is body soap—but trying it out can be an interesting experience. One of them smells like petroleum. Wishing you a wonderful journey in Singapore!

The service was pretty good. The accommodation is in a combined restaurant downstairs and rooms upstairs. The environment is nice, newly renovated. Another guy couldn't stand it and left, haha. I also felt it was a bit too much. I hope the owner can improve ventilation. Luckily, the air conditioning was always on ventilation mode. After ordering, you can just go to the first floor and find a staff member. Cleanliness: Clean. Disposable toiletries are self-service. Facilities: Complete. Charging stations are readily available. Environment: There is a separate rest area outside the accommodation, which is a plus. Service: Chinese is available, and if not, they use a translator. They are friendly to Chinese people. Facilities: The air conditioning is set to 24 degrees Celsius. The central air conditioning cannot be adjusted, so this temperature is OK. There are also small electric fans outside that you can bring in. The breakfast was excellent. You can choose your own, and there's also a free snack buffet. This is very cost-effective. I hope the owner continues to maintain this level of quality.

This bohemian hostel has no lift, it’s a very small packed shop house, turned into backpackers hostel. Only stairs. My room was on the top floor which was the 3rd floor. Bathroom and were toilet 2nd floor. So lots of walking. There were locker we can keep but when taking our things from locker only the caretaker could take them for us, The bathroom is a toilet converted to be a toilet cum bathroom. The hostel has 4 rooms, each with 10 beds. 40 beds in 4 rooms but only two bath rooms for everybody. The bathroom floor slippery funno how long no cleaning service. Towels were given only upon request. No changing of bedsheets. pls dnt use my name or your name just write An Asians review. Breakfast first day only toast, coffee and tea. Very few people join breakfast.

Hotel front lack of staff, only 1 staff available all the time. There was an indian girl at the counter, when i checked in, she was very courteous and helpful. Next day left hotel at 7.30am, came back at 9pm to find my door was opened. Thankfully my valuables were not in the room but still, i had 2 luggage bags in the room and even if it was taken by someone, the hotel staff wont even know. Upon highlighting this, hotel staff at the front desk, an Indian guy said he will give the feedback to the housekeeping. 🤷🏻♀️

Overall solid place would stay again.

An Airbnb style hotel that makes you feel like you rented an apartment instead of a hotel room. The location is super great, right at the centre of Chinatown. There is a Starbucks and an 7-Eleven downstairs, and lots of local shops. But there is no elevator to the front desk or rooms, so you have to climb some stairs. Windows are not sound-proof so the crowded street can be noisy sometimes. Everything is quite self-serviced only and cleaning services are only provided weekly. They do offer luggage storage though.

Located in the very heart of Little India, surprisingly, it felt relatively safe, surrounded by Indians. The hotel is new and the price is quite cheap for Singapore. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but almost all of them serve Indian food. The room was tiny, and I felt like there were small insects on the bed; I got many small red bites all over my body, which were very itchy. The soundproofing was poor, and the front desk was very slow. Because of the poor soundproofing, I would be startled awake by people suddenly returning home in the middle of the night. If your budget allows, it's not worth the sacrifice.

The Transit Hotel is incredibly cold. The rooms remind me of the remnants of the old sovet style communit who placed and importance l on privacy. The upshot is that you will be jetlagged and will be able to acllimstise to the dark and harsh condition rooms. Enjoy my stay (one night only). Overall experience of my room is 8 / 10 for budget hotel. I had a good sleep: mattress, pillows and blanket are OK. Lucky to have a room away from lift lobby. However my room has no fridge, no hair dryer, no sandals, no locker safe, no hand towel. However I love the surrounding amenities, easy to find food, drinks and snacks from convenient store. Very good location, get to explore nearby tourist attraction like Sultan Mosque.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a short visit to Singapore. Good value and great location, just next to Orchard Rd, behind Paragon mall. Room was tidy and clean, note that they only do housekeeping every second day. Rooftop pool is small but good enough for a quick splash. Don't expect too much of the gym, which is very small, it only has a couple of treadmills as well as free weights. All in all, a very decent place if you're looking for a budget option close to Orchard Rd.

Mary, Maica, and Carms were excellent team that help me in everything that I requested, thanks to all of them. The room was quiet at night even it is in China Town. Plenty good restaurants, near to two SMRT stations, ”China town” and ”Maxwell”, The cleans of the room was amazing and in the same floor you can wash and dry your clothes free or charge. The cooking stuff enough to cook a regular meal. Decent Internet speed. Easy check in and out. quick to revert the deposit to my credit card. Overall wonderful stay
