Lijiang Resorts

Most of my hotels during my trip in China have been good, but this one was my favorite. The location —right by the ancient city and easy to catch a ride to anywhere else. From the airport bus it’s about 12minute walk. And maybe 15min from the ancient city entrance. You get an open sky view and can see Jade Dragon Snow mountain from the roof quite clear. The rooms—are clean and have automatic lighting and window curtains. They upgraded my room for free and it was quite spacious and met all my needs. Though there isn’t a fridge to store things, so keep in mind. The room has AI as well. The meals/tea—on the 5th floor is where all the meals and tea is served looking out at the mountain. The breakfast was the same, and if you’re from western countries don’t expect a western breakfast. The noodles and fried side dish was delicious-I love a good savory breakfast. I wasn’t able to try the afternoon tea (which is so good) until my last day, and they let me come back after check out before I took a taxi to the airport. The evening tea is butter tea, but I didn’t drink it as I had tried it previously elsewhere and wasn’t a huge fan. The staff—everyone is very kind and helpful and always greeting you when you come. I had some issues with the AI in the room and they were quick to come help fix it. And when I made a mistake during food delivery one of the staff was so kind enough and went to get it for me 😭 so they all went above and beyond. Most of our conversation was through translating apps but that never stopped them making sure I was comfortable during my visit.

The stay was amazing! Although it’s up a mountain and requires taking a few flights of stairs, it’s absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views. The location was excellent—right near the north entrance of the ancient city, which made exploring very convenient. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, even carrying our luggage up for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

The room is very spacious and the view is beautiful. The location is great, it feels like more of a local area whilst still being close to the old town, and we particularly enjoyed feeling slightly removed from the bustle. A steamed fish hotpot at yunmu Yao restaurant just down the stairs is not to be missed and was a highlight. Some details could be improved such as providing a bathmat and body lotion. There are also no hooks for the towels near the shower. Cleanliness was overall ok but some hairs in the shower were missed and there is a little bit of build up from hard water. Overall I would stay again.

This is the first hotel I've ever felt compelled to write a compliment for. The service attitude was exceptionally good, and the environment was also great. Our air conditioner broke down, and they promptly moved us to a much better room. I especially want to commend Liang Jingru; although I initially remembered her because of a celebrity namesake, I later became deeply impressed by her service, her smile, and her professionalism. I will definitely rebook this hotel next time I'm in the area. The hotel's breakfast was also incredibly delicious, and you can even see the snowy mountains from the seventh floor. Right in front of the hotel is Heilongtan Park, which is perfect for those who didn't manage to get cable car tickets to see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise.' Plus, there's a really tasty fried potato stand right outside the entrance that seems to be a popular spot online – basically, the location is fantastic. I'm really falling for Liang Jingru!

This guesthouse completely redefined 'attentive' for me! Upon check-in, the staff offered hot towels and tea, and even helped us check our power bank's battery level. They made booking Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tickets incredibly easy, even marking out the touring route for Blue Moon Valley. The tickets for 'Impression Lijiang' were also cheaper than buying them ourselves, and the seats had an excellent view. The staff were always smiling and recommended snack places that had authentic and affordable food. The Pu'er tea DIY experience was fantastic; not only could we make our own tea, but we also learned about the Pu'er making process. The tea shop they took us to was run by local tea farmers. The Pu'er I bought has an amazing aroma and a long-lasting aftertaste. Drinking it every day now brings me so much joy. This guesthouse is definitely worth coming back to again and again!

The owner is super kind and willing to arrange pick up for us from the airport at midnight. He even help to order food delivery for my husband because he was hungry upon arriving in the hotel. The room is very spacious, has smart system and a bidet! But it does not have underfloor heating so upon we first checked in, the room is cold. However after few hours the room started to get warm, and the owner actually let us on the aircond heater for 24 hours throughout our stay duration so it is not an issue anymore for the next day onwards. The owner also give us so many suggestion on what to visit in lijiang and always invites us for tea and give us flower cake. Breakfast is also nice, can choose between rice noodle / porridge. Overall it was a pleasant stay here and i will definitely come back here when i visit lijiang.

The host is very accommodating and helpful. We were greeted with tea and fruits upon arrival. They also helped to carry our luggage from didi pickup point to the house. The stay was comfortable. The heater functioned properly. The room was big and as advertised. Theres plenty of space to eat and chill, and store your luggage inside the room. Very clean and the host will top up the amenities if needed. The inn is very close to the ancient town, just need a bit walk downstairs and you'll reach the small river. Theres also convenience store when you go down the road. We booked our jade dragon snow mountain trip with the host. The price is slightly on the higher end, but it was a last minute decision so its alright. They can also help you plan your itinerary for your stay. We went to alot of great place so Lijiang is very enjoyable~ Overall its a recommended place to stay. However, in my opinion the inn location is not suitable for elderly people because theres a lot of stairs.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Special thanks to Ah Fei, who was really helpful in recommending routes to halal restaurants, arranging a pickup from the railway station (which was very convenient), welcoming us with tea upon arrival, and even providing us with an oxygen tank for free, which we truly appreciated. He also upgraded our room for free and made a special room decoration for our honeymoon, making our stay extra memorable and romantic. For Malaysians looking for Chagee, you’ll be happy to know the shop is very near to the hotel as well. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well organized. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again🫶🏻❤️🤩🤩🤩😊😊

My stay at the Hyatt Regency Lijiang left a deep impression on me! The hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, allowing guests to experience the unique charm of Naxi culture while enjoying modern luxury and comfort. The lobby design seamlessly blends traditional Dongba elements with contemporary art, immersing you in a rich ethnic atmosphere the moment you step inside. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with wooden furniture and ethnic embroidery complementing each other perfectly, offering superb views. The service was consistently warm; the front desk attendant, Christina, even gave us a small gift upon checkout. The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves authentic Yunnan cuisine, and the breakfast buffet is extensive, featuring various Lijiang local specialties. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!
