This hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a very quiet environment. The rooms are neat and clean, and it seems each room has a different color scheme. Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a sea-view room, and the balcony and courtyard faced the Macau Tower directly. The only issue is that there's only one bus that goes directly to the hotel, and it doesn't automatically stop at the hotel's station; you have to press the bell. It seems like other stops don't require this, so maybe I'm just out of touch.FromTRY 2,223

This hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transport links, including a bus stop right outside, and many popular attractions within walking distance. During our stay, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, quickly resolving any minor issues. The staff in departments such as the pool and housekeeping were also very friendly. However, the restaurant staff's attitude felt a bit stiff, a stark contrast to the warmth of other departments, and we hope this can be improved in the future. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel offering both a great location and excellent service!FromTRY 3,167

Even though it's an older hotel, the room was spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out at the front desk went smoothly. I had requested a non-smoking, quiet room when booking, and the hotel had it reserved for me. The family ahead of me, however, ran into trouble because they hadn't noted their preference beforehand and were assigned a smoking room. So, if you have specific requests, make sure to mention them in advance. Honestly though, family rooms really shouldn't be smoking rooms. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and it's not worth paying 100 RMB for it if it's not included in your stay. You're better off grabbing something from Cafe de Coral, a bakery, or a convenience store downstairs.FromTRY 3,020

Honestly, this stay, probably due to the Chinese New Year approaching and increased crowds, wasn't quite as good as my last visit in terms of service. However, the Thai restaurant and the fitness center still maintained their excellent service standards and quality. On that note, I highly recommend the Thai restaurant's lunch special: 388 for two people, which is incredibly good value for money. You get to try all their signature dishes. I remember paying over 800 for dinner with a friend last time, so this deal is fantastic!
My recurring issue, though, is the bathroom. The shower hose was moldy, the soap dish was moldy, and there was hair on the towel (a long hair, and I have short hair, by the way). Also, the hotel recently changed their toiletries. The body lotion is now the same tiny one found at the Grand Coloane Resort (part of the Artyzen Group). While the shower gel and other items are an upgrade, could the body lotion please be improved?
Finally, a small personal wish: last time, after mentioning it was a repeat stay, I received complimentary welcome fruit, but not this time, haha. It would be nice to have little surprises upon check-in!
To sum up: It was a decent stay, with attentive service. The hardware is a bit outdated, but the aesthetics are top-notch. It's rare to find a hotel with such unique style and design amidst the glitzy Macau, haha.FromTRY 3,090

This was my first time staying at the Rocks Hotel in Macau, and I had a great experience! It's luxurious and comfortable with a beautiful environment, and the service is excellent! It's quite close to the Science Center but far from the Ruins of St. Paul's. Delivery services in Macau aren't very convenient; ordering takeout can take 60-80 minutes, and ride-sharing isn't easy when traveling with elderly or young family members. Everything else was satisfactory. It would be even more convenient if the Fisherman's Wharf, located downstairs from the hotel, were open. I'll definitely choose the Rocks Hotel again next time I visit Macau! 👍👍FromTRY 2,236

The hotel is conveniently located, with a variety of dining and entertainment options right downstairs, offering a one-stop solution for food, drinks, and fun, which saved us a lot of hassle during our trip. The hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful, with excellent service, making us feel very comfortable.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel even thoughtfully prepared a small tent, a footstool, and children's toiletries for the little ones, showing great attention to detail. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the minibar had a wide selection of snacks that were promptly refilled daily, always meeting the children's little needs.
During our stay, one day my child caught a cold and had to rest in the room. Ordering room service by scanning a QR code was incredibly convenient; the food was delivered quickly and tasted great, solving a big problem for us.
Buying breakfast vouchers for the hotel's buffet directly through Ctrip was also very convenient. There was a wide variety of dishes, and they tasted good, even saving us from needing lunch.
What the kids loved most was the hotel's play area: there's a fantastic Fun Park on the third floor, with discounted entry after 4 PM, where the children had an absolute blast. On the first floor, they could spend a long time playing with the soft gold bricks inside the vintage car, so happy they didn't want to leave.
Overall, during our stay, both the elderly and the children were quite satisfied with the service, hygiene, parent-child facilities, dining, and convenience of travel.FromTRY 4,388

I'd heard so much about this place, and I finally got to see and experience it for myself this time. Even though it's been built for a while, the interior is luxurious and very well-maintained, which doesn't detract from the experience at all. The service attitude and facilities are particularly excellent, with great management and well-assigned staff roles. It's incredibly convenient to travel between major hotels like The Londoner and The Venetian, as well as various famous shops. Guests staying here also get unlimited access to the 7th-floor observation deck of the Eiffel Tower. Transportation is also well-organized and very convenient. You can catch a car service from the basement, taxis from outside the lobby on the first floor, and various public buses are available right outside. The hotel's own restaurant serves delicious food. The service was really good; all the staff we encountered were polite and professional. The room definitely showed its age. After showering on the first night, the bathroom floor was wet, and I thought my child hadn't been careful. On the second night, I used a disposable bathtub liner for a bath and then realized the bathtub drain was broken. A repairman came in the middle of the night and said it was a situation that required a room change for repairs – quite an unlucky draw. The new room was much further from the main elevator, and I could still smell smoke near the entrance. But there was nothing else we could do.FromTRY 3,604

On a business trip to Macau, I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel and I'm so glad I finally settled on the Grand Lapa Hotel due to its convenient transportation. The hotel boasts an impressive architectural style and an excellent location with plenty of amenities nearby. The abundant breakfast was particularly satisfying. The staff were very helpful and always willing to assist. One day, my room card wouldn't open the door, and it turned out the room lock's battery had died. First, a bellboy accompanied me upstairs to check, and then after about a ten-minute wait, two technicians arrived to fix it, which they did in just a few minutes – very efficient. The bellboy was also very quick and efficient in helping me call a taxi and with my luggage. I brought my own bedding as I was worried about mosquito bites in Macau, but the hotel's bedding was actually very clean. It has the advantages of an older hotel (excellent location) while mostly avoiding the drawbacks (outdated facilities). Although the style is from the 80s or 90s, the carpets and bathroom facilities don't show their age. Great value for money!FromTRY 2,178

Our Greater Bay Area trip was fantastic, and the Venetian truly exceeded expectations. The moment we stepped in, we were struck by its grandeur and opulent decor. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded us to a scenic view room because it was our child's birthday, and they surprised us with a birthday cake! It's conveniently located right across from The Londoner and The Parisian, and Wynn Palace is just a short walk further. You can easily get to these places by walking through the hotel's internal walkways. Since we had a child with us, we couldn't use the ground floor connections, but the third floor provides easy access to all areas, with clear signage to guide you – none of that confusing maze some people mention. There are also plenty of dining options on the third floor. If you're up for a bit more walking, you can also stroll to Taipa Village (Rua do Cunha) in about ten minutes for more food choices.FromTRY 6,116

Booked this place online based on a friend's recommendation, and honestly, it's great value for money. There are tons of good restaurants nearby, and it's really close to Grand Lisboa, MGM, and Wynn. We saw the Wynn's Tree of Prosperity, checked out the exhibition at MGM, and even enjoyed some free milk tea. We also tried the geoduck hotpot at Sun Cheong City. The only downside is the hotel's air conditioning – it's freezing! The whole place feels like a giant freezer. It was just too cold. I have no idea why they keep it so arctic.FromTRY 2,692

Hotels in Macau are generally not cheap, but the Beverly Plaza offers incredible value for money. Its location is outstanding – right across from the Grand Lisboa, a 10-minute walk to Wynn to see the Tree of Prosperity, and just a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. It's incredibly convenient.
And most importantly!!! The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet!!! The bathtub is also separate! This is so crucial!!! It completely aligns with my preferences! I've found the bathroom layouts in many Macau hotels to be quite illogical, but the Beverly Plaza's bathroom gets a perfect score from me!!!

Took my child on a 5-day, 4-night trip to Hong Kong and Macau during the winter break, and the Crowne Plaza Macau was hands down the best hotel experience. Definitely a full five stars! 👍🏻 As a classic five-star hotel, the interior decor is meticulously chosen, standing the test of time and still looking new. There wasn't a single strange smell in the room, and the bathroom design was thoughtfully detailed. A big thank you to Ms. Zoey for her considerate arrangements, allowing us to enjoy a super five-star luxury sea-view room in Macau (almost the entire room had floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, but I took the photos at night with the curtains drawn 😂). The next morning, when we went to the Ruins of St. Paul's, and in the evening when we headed to the port to return to Hong Kong, Ms. Sarah Li and Mr. Alex Lin promptly helped us call taxis, making our trip much smoother. The hotel is located in Macau Peninsula's old town and is generally quite small. The room amenities are all there. I didn't dare to use the bathtub, but the bathroom came with a floor mat and a non-slip grab bar, which is something older Macanese hotels do better than both new and old hotels in mainland China. The hotel is relatively close to the Macao Polytechnic University and the Grand Prix Museum, about a ten-minute walk. It's also not far from the Ruins of St. Paul's, a walk of a little over ten minutes. Getting to Wynn Palace or Fisherman's Wharf is further and requires a taxi. This time, any journey over twenty minutes by foot, I took a taxi, but I didn't get to ride the **bus**. The hotel has a Cantonese restaurant, Jin Man Xuan, on the first floor, with prices similar to Cantonese restaurants in Shenzhen.
The Macau Tower and the double-decker sightseeing bus require advance booking, so I'll save those for next time when I bring the kids to Macau!

Had a fantastic stay! We were so lucky to have such a wonderful cleaning lady. She was responsible for our room (06928) for all four nights and was incredibly warm and friendly. Knowing we had two kids, she proactively gave us extra water bottles and tissues, just in case we ran out. Her dedication to her job was truly impressive; she would meticulously check each towel for stains before giving it to us. Even when I told her the bathroom didn't need cleaning, she'd spot dirty areas and kindly ask if we'd like her to clean them. I've never encountered such an exceptional cleaning staff member – so diligent and genuinely caring towards guests. I don't know her name, but she made our stay so much better. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made the kids very happy. The Galaxy is quite old now. The bathroom counter is too small, making it difficult to place items, and the room itself isn't very spacious. It's just average, not bad but not great either. I wouldn't stay in the rooms again. The pool is heated, and although the amusement park was closed, it's commendable that they still kept the heated pool open, unlike many hotels that just shut them down entirely. The service throughout the entire hotel was excellent, so even with the age, it still reflects a five-star standard. The housekeepers paid great attention to detail when tidying the room, arranging my belongings neatly, which left a deep impression – very few hotels do this. Plus, a front desk staff member escorted us all the way to our room, giving us various introductions. These details show the responsibility and professionalism of the Galaxy's management. I've been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time, and I finally got the chance in Macau!
The room layout is incredibly well-designed, and you can tell the hotel put a lot of thought into every detail. The 'fan' shaped chocolates were a delicious treat, and the Tower View room offered breathtaking scenery. I particularly loved the double vanity, which was a very convenient touch for guests.

The room is located on Coloane Island, which is a relatively quiet area. While the facilities are a bit dated, it still feels like a solid five-star hotel. The room is spacious and has a balcony, and the breakfast quality is excellent. The only downside was the incredibly long wait at check-in. They didn't seem to follow a first-come, first-served system. I waited in the lobby for two hours, and people who arrived after me were checked in directly. If I didn't actively go up and ask, they wouldn't arrange my check-in, citing that the room wasn't ready. The problem is, I can't keep checking with the front desk every few minutes to see if the room is clean. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to walk to other nearby hotels. We didn't have many demands regarding service, so we didn't notice it much, but the staff maintained a good sense of appropriateness. Since the hotel has been open for a long time, the facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is good. My only complaints are the carpet smell, which took some getting used to every time we re-entered the room, and the overpowering scent in the hotel lobby, which I disliked. We were lucky that a Metropolitan Suite was available during check-in, so we paid extra to upgrade. The upgrade was definitely worth it as we could see the clock and the tower, and the suite was very spacious. Finally, about the hotel breakfast: it was a standard hotel breakfast, leaning towards Western style. A unique feature was that it was open until 1 PM, but for families traveling, this extended time isn't really necessary. I'd highly recommend experiencing local Cantonese dim sum or Hong Kong-style 'bing sutt' breakfast for a more local and delicious option.FromTRY 6,572

I have to say, the design of MGM Cotai is truly artistic; walking through the atrium always feels like a treat. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM, but you can get in line about ten minutes early. The young man who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. However, the short-haired young lady at the next counter, who was assisting an elderly couple, seemed less competent. She struggled to explain things clearly and even had to call over a colleague for help. Later, when I checked out, it happened to be her again. My room charges were over by 0.6 MOP, and she insisted I pay the difference. As I was getting my money out, another young man at an adjacent counter, who was helping another guest, immediately said it wasn't necessary to pay. The difference in service experience was quite significant. She really needs to improve her work efficiency. My room was cleaned daily, and there was also a turndown service. However, the air conditioning in my room was incredibly noisy, so I couldn't use it at all during my stay; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Room service was always responsive and very quick. If I have the chance, I might choose MGM Cotai again.FromTRY 27,298

First off, this hotel shares a lobby and mall with The Londoner, so it's super convenient to get here by taxi or car. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport. The room layout was great. We booked a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but they upgraded us to a Big Ben view, which was still excellent. I actually think Big Ben looks beautiful at night. The twin beds were 1.5 meters wide, and I slept comfortably with my child – there was plenty of space.
Downstairs, there's Lord Stow's Bakery, so you don't have to queue up at Rua do Cunha. Tim Ho Wan is also on the first floor, which is very handy for dim sum. Macanese hotels are much more spacious than those in Hong Kong, and the staff's service attitude is a million times better. The housekeeping staff were so attentive every day, arranging our slippers, folding our clothes, and even coiling our charging cables. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely consider the Conrad again next time.
Oh, and the hotel also provides little slippers, toiletries, a teddy bear, and a rubber duck for kids, which my child absolutely loved!FromTRY 5,570

I brought my mom to Macau, and the buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and bar food at the Grand Hyatt Club were incredibly rich and varied. We didn't even need to go out looking for food, which was perfect for seniors who don't eat a lot but enjoy a wide selection. We hardly ever had to wait for a table. Upon check-in, we received welcome fruits, and during our stay, they even sent egg tarts and chocolates to our room once. It was also super convenient to go downstairs to watch the guard changing ceremony. The hotel's blackout curtains were excellent, making it ideal for a good night's sleep. When we moved to the Venetian, the hotel even helped coordinate the luggage transfer. Overall, our experience was fantastic. Currently, the hotel doesn't offer free airport pickup. If you don't want to take a taxi, I highly recommend using the Ctrip airport transfer service – it's excellent, and the Alpha drivers are much better than Macau's taxi drivers!FromTRY 21,388

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, but the overall hygiene is good. The breakfast is more Western-style, with a decent variety. The soundproofing is excellent; it's not noisy at all, even though it's by the road.
Environment: There are many bus routes nearby, making transportation very convenient.
Service: The staff are all very enthusiastic and can even help call a taxi.
Price: Compared to other hotels, the value for money is excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.FromTRY 2,030

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. Located on the Taipa side, between Taipa and the Macau Peninsula, it offers convenient transportation with a bus stop right downstairs, making it close to all the main attractions. The hotel itself looks luxurious and is easily the most beautiful building in the area.
Amazing View: Check-in is on the 38th floor, and my room also faced the Grand Lisboa with a direct sea view. Lounging on the sofa, watching Macau's fishing boats during the day and the colorful lights of the Macau Peninsula at night – it was incredibly relaxing.
Hotel Service: The room attendant on the 29th floor, though male, was exceptionally thoughtful. He cleaned the room spotless daily and, noticing my glasses on the table, left a glasses cleaning cloth – a really nice touch. The daily fruit was always fresh and replenished.
Overall, I'm very satisfied.
The only minor drawback is that because the hotel is above a commercial area, getting around can be a little inconvenient. You need to go down to the 10th floor and then transfer to a different elevator. However, it's just a short detour. Also, the check-in process could be improved; the system was slow and there were many steps. Check-out, on the other hand, was quick. Hopefully, they can make some improvements there.
I wish them continued success.FromTRY 4,825

This is my third stay here, and Grand Lisboa is definitely the GOAT of Macau! Everything from the facilities to the service is absolutely top-notch. The location is excellent, perfect for exploring the peninsula on foot. The hotel lobby is always bustling with tourists during the day. Connected to Grand Lisboa Palace, but with a distinctly more stylish vibe. The breakfast was excellent, a significant improvement over Grand Lisboa Palace's buffet. Perhaps it's because Karl Lagerfeld designed the hotel, but it felt a bit *too* fashionable, leading to some rather perplexing design choices – for example, the coffee machine was tucked away inside the TV cabinet.FromTRY 11,642

It has been over 5 years not stay in this hotel. This time made me not much excited. Regards the room service, there are only 2 bottles of water provided and it's much behind others. the saunna room still keeps same and it's the only point I forcast. Unfortunately, there still no wet towel provided, no slipper provided, the good thing is not much people use the room. the view is nice and this is the selling point.

Not the most convenient location, but there’s shuttle buses provided by the hotel to/from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, The Venetian and The Parisian. Shuttle buses to the hotels at Cotai Strip only starts from 11AM though, would be great if it can start earlier.
The staff also made up for it with their service! They were very helpful in directing us to the bus stop that we were looking for, and helped us to break our note to give us small change so that we can get around Macau by public bus.

The hotel's facilities and cleanliness were very good. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it had all the essentials. My only complaint was the à la carte Argentine red shrimp noodles – the shrimp were mushy and powdery, didn't taste fresh at all. We were traveling with a child, and the hotel provided cookies and a blind box for them, which made my child very happy.
However, regarding the children's amenities, I'm not sure if it's for environmental reasons, but it felt like the children's rinse cups were reused, as there were obvious water stains at the bottom. I'm okay with reusing items, but shouldn't they be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before being given to guests?
Additionally, the hotel staff's attitude was acceptable, though perhaps due to the approaching Chinese New Year and the high number of tourists, they gave off a tired, 'just doing my job' vibe and a superficial politeness.
PS: The casino had too many entrances, and we kept getting lost with our child. The staff at the entrance were very rude and shooed us away.FromTRY 9,316

It's rare to find a hotel with such unique style and design amidst the glitzy Macau, haha.

The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, and on the second floor, there's a Yaohan department store and a food court, making it incredibly convenient. Even if we didn't go out, we could easily spend an entire day enjoying the hotel amenities with the kids.

I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was drawn in by the clean and elegant environment, and the scent was lovely too. We paid extra to upgrade to the Starlight Open-Air Onsen Twin Suite, which was incredibly spacious with amazing natural light. All the facilities were brand new, and the automatic curtains were super convenient to use. The attention to detail in the room was excellent; I could charge my phone directly without needing an adapter. The bedding, duvet, and pillows were clearly high-quality, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless and hygienic, making our stay incredibly comfortable. I'd recommend it to all my friends traveling! 👍👍

Had a fantastic stay at YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Macao. The hotel feels modern, classy, and well-maintained, with a stylish design that gives a premium vibe the moment you step in. One of my favourite parts was the beautiful sea-facing view towards Hengqin, which made the stay extra relaxing.
My room was very spacious and comfortable, and I loved having a private balcony to enjoy the view. The highlight for me was definitely the huge bathtub — perfect for unwinding after a full day out. The amenities were also great, with stable Wi-Fi, mini-bar, and in-room entertainment, making it a very complete and luxurious stay overall.
If you’re booking the Suite King, do note that these rooms are usually limited in units and are often located near the last few rooms on each floor, likely because of the bigger room size and layout. So it’s best to book early if you want to secure this room type.
I also enjoyed the facilities, especially the outdoor pool and fitness centre. The hotel is also family-friendly with a kids’ pool and play area, which makes it a great choice if you’re travelling with children. If you’re looking for extra relaxation, the spa treatments are a nice touch too.
The hotel provides a shuttle bus service, which makes travelling to nearby attractions more convenient. However, one small downside is that if you’re coming by public transport, you may need to walk a bit from the nearest LRT station to reach the hotel.

You're better off grabbing something from Cafe de Coral, a bakery, or a convenience store downstairs.

I specifically came to write this review – this hotel is incredibly close to the airport! I landed in Macau at 8 PM and had a flight to Palau the next day at noon. To avoid being too tired the day before, I deliberately chose Grand Hyatt, and it exceeded my expectations! After immigration, you don't even need to exit the main hall; just take the elevator up to the departure level, cross the street, and you're there. Check-in was very quick. I honestly didn't expect much from the restaurant, given the proximity and price – what more could I ask for? But it turned out to be excellent. I ordered a steak and a pork chop with rice, and both were very satisfying. And the service is absolutely fantastic! They offer free luggage storage for up to 7 days, which is amazing! The airport storage across the street costs 80 MOP per day. Since I was flying from Beijing to Palau with a layover in Macau, I didn't want to carry my down jacket with me. Luggage storage solved that problem completely. Plus, I'm staying at this hotel again on my return trip, so I can pick up my luggage then without any hassle.
