Absolutely top-notch service although the hotel is a bit old but they maintain the whole environment as if you were arriving at a brand new opening hotel in 70s. Almost as if you were walking through the history of time where the service is still at its excellency. It’s amazing! Those elderly women who work as janitor is also super professional. It seems like they work there since the hotel opening. Super nice Buffett and a great ambience of miniature garden in the center of hotel hallway. It’s merely a great experience staying here!

This was a decent stay. The only complaints are that the lobby toilet was a bit unclean and there was always a long wait for the elevator. Also the room carpet was covered in lint balla but otherwise it was a clean room. The bed was comfortable. The view from the room was good. Location is great. The selection at the breakfast buffet was varied and it was tasty.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.31km from city center
We felt that this hotel was centrally located in Ginza and we had quick access to a lot of the shopping and attractions nearby either by walking or using the metro. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and convenience stores. The check in was smooth but our room was not available until 4 pm. They do offer luggage storage in the lobby and will deliver luggage to the rooms. The lobby offers a light breakfast (for a fee), a welcome coffee in the morning and they have a spring water fountain that dispenses cold water. There is also a spot in the lobby where you can grab your toiletries for your room or items for the onsen room like the yukata. There is also a pillow selection area and it might be worth getting here promptly because once they're gone they are gone! The rooms were comfy and quiet. We booked a run of the house and although our bag was originally marked to be delivered to a bigger room we got a much more compact one. We didn't mind as we had gambled when we made the choice and saved a bit because we did. The room had a large TV, a small work station and a very small bathroom. The room was still well equipped and we had a kettle, mini fridge, air purifier/humidifier, fabric freshener, spots to hang our clothes and enough room to put our large luggage without it being in the way. The bed was very comfy and we felt we got a good night's rest. The room also had good WiFi and a number of outlets including a few USB plug ins. The room had a tablet which was kind of gimmicky but could control the lights, AC or heat and the TV. There were some videos on demand including some adult content. I spent more time than I felt I should trying to figure out how to screencast and ultimately was not able to. There is an option to select a language on the tablet but some instructions are only in Japanese. We played with the tablet a bit the first night but it wasn't really needed to enjoy the room. We thought it was funny that we only got one long pillow and each day they offered one bottle of water despite the double occupancy.bit is worth while getting the pillow selection and without it we aren't sure how we would have slept. We felt for a hotel that calls itself ”premier” the one pillow and one bottle was off. The onsen for men was on the second floor and women were on the third floor. The men require no code but the women's code changes daily and you have to pick up the code from the front desk each day. They have shampoo, conditioner and body/face wash and the onsen is pretty clean but on the smaller side. Each time I went there were 4 men in the soaking bath and that is pretty much the limit. There isn't water in the onsen area but there is a vending machine and water dispenser in the hallway. The women's onsen was not as busy according to my wife but she did note there were guests that weren't aware they should have quiet conversations or none at all. There are lockers provided in the change room and clips to put on your sandals to mark them. There are no towels or wash cloths here though and you have to bring the towels from your room and the cloths can be picked up in the lobby. The laundry area was normally available and they have two washers and two dryers. It takes about half an hour each to wash and dry and they provide laundry detergent. They could use some English signage in the laundry area as it seems some people weren't sure how to use the machines like how to start or that they needed to empty the dryer lint. Each time I used the laundry machine I removed about a quarter inch of lint from the screen which shows that they aren't being properly maintained. The hotel only offers room service to rooms if you put a room service magnet on the door before 11 am. When the magnet is hung it is cleaned well and they replace the towels and bring you your one bottle.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.83km from city center
I have to say I was excited and looked forward to my stay. At the end. I don’t think it was worth it. And it was because of what Hoshinoya Tokyo is, it is a ryokan, not a hotel, and it is a Japanese chain. It was not imbued with the spirit of providing utmost comfort and pampering to its guest. It is more focused on the onsen, the Japanese culture, and the provision of daily meals.

It is not where you should stay to hear a lot of Yes. No concierge service, so they won’t help you get a reservation because they provide meals in the ryokan (which hotel doesn’t?). No early check in or courtesy late check out. If you want to check out late, it’s 9,000 JPY per hour - even when it doesn’t cost the hotel anything. No currency exchange service. If you want to order meals, you have to place the order the day before. No bathrobe provided, and when asked, first they said they didn’t have them, then they provided but warned me I should only wear them inside the room (I don’t remember a time in my life when I wore bathrobe walking around any hotel), and that since the quantity was limited, they would not change the bathrobe during my stay - it all sounded like a conversation I would have with my school principal, one that was not so friendly.

The fancy picture of the centerpiece which flooded Instagram was one place on the hallway, first floor, where we took off our shoes before entering the hotel. Reception is on the second floor, and the interior was a mixed in style, I don’t know how to call it. It was dated and furnished with uncomfortable sofas and chairs. We and other guests were not allowed to checked in until 3 pm (regardless whether a room was available) so we could see several parties, some with small children hanging out on those sofas like at a train station. Not all of us can time our flight to arrive at the hotel at exactly 3 pm, so it was a tiresome wait during which we were provided with one cup of tea per person the whole time. After that long wait, the welcome ritual with snacks at the lounge on our floor became quite pointless. We already did not feel welcomed. Service at Hoshinoya Tokyo was also not great and definitely not 5 star. As a guest pointed out, it’s difficult to get to the entrance via taxi. The basement entrance was dark. Room cleaning was not reliable - we left the room for 3 hours in the morning, came back at 1 pm and the room was not cleaned. But if you stayed in (which well, what you are supposed to do at a ryokan), they wouldn’t go in to clean or even asked if you wanted the room to be cleaned. On such a day, I asked if I could get new towels when we left for dinner, the staff said yes, but nothing happened when we came back and no follow up call to let us know why. There’s no view from our room (executive room at the corner). The hotel is surrounded by other taller buildings. When we opened the window screen, we could see people from the other building office and they could see us. It’s all grayish.

This was our second trip to Japan within the past 5 years. Previously, we stayed at a budget hotel which was cramped and small compared to American hotels. For this reason, we decided to splurge and I'm so glad we did. Splurge on the deluxe room if you value space and comfort. It not only made a huge difference, but it made our stay even better. The deluxe room comes with a walk- in closet, huge bathroom, and the room itself was big enough for a King bed and sitting area with a couch and chair. The staff provided excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is not that close to a train station so be wary of that, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, this hotel is huge and navigating it takes time before you know where to go and how to get to the area's local restaurants and train stations. The hotel grounds have a beautiful Japanese garden with waterfall which rivals some parks. The only criticism I have about our stay is dining. As do all hotels, this one charges a huge price to dine on-site. You have access to local restaurants that are within walking distance for half the price. If you want to save money do a little research online and dine off-site. There are plenty of options around the area.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|2.06km from city center
The location is good with lots of food places and convenience stores available near the hotel. Service attitude was alright but could be better for one of the duty manager. Typical Japanese business hotel - Room was small so if you’re bringing the large size luggage, do take note of it. Daily room clean up comes with fresh set of clothes (plus size may not be able to fit into the top) everyday so didn’t had to wear my own sleepwear and they will leave reminder on the door if you have not requested to change your bed linen for more than 2 days. The TV has limited English channels and not a smart tv so you can’t cast to screen and watch your show… but you get to see the status of washing machine if you’re thinking of doing laundry at any point in time of the trip. (¥500 for 120 min washing and drying of clothes (regular load), ¥400 for 80 min washing and drying of clothes (small load), ¥100 for 30 min of drying) Toilet seat was heated and comes with bidet so it’s good, especially in cold weather. Separate bathtub and shower area from the toilet and it comes with a little stool for you to sit when showering like true Japanese style. Check in and check out was smooth and efficient. You can store your luggages with them before check in and after check out if your flight is still a while away. There’s an area at L2 for refreshment and disposables like tea and coffee, toothbrush and toothpaste etc but no bottled water available in the room. Overall - will recommend

It's very good. From the front desk to the room to breakfast to dinner, etc., every detail is great and the price/performance ratio is very high. Especially the dishes and service in the Japanese restaurant in the hotel are so authentic, which made my mother very happy. She will never forget the Japanese restaurant. It was my first time to stay at the Hilton Conrad. I didn’t expect that the service and quality were better than those at the Ritz-Carlton and Peninsula. I even liked it better. Unfortunately, I couldn’t cancel the hotel later, otherwise I would have to extend my stay for two days. What a pity. However, we have developed a new continent and will visit more often in the future!

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was right next to the Tokyo tower so the view was beautiful at night. The hotel is also less than 10 minutes away from 2 metro stations so travelling around the city was convenient. The room size was big so we slept comfortably as a family of 3. It is the second use. We used it when we went to Kizzania in Toyosu in the family at the beginning of the year. The hotel is the best location to stay directly from the station, and from the Raraport and Toyosu with Kizzania. After playing scattered 々 at the 2 part meeting in Kizzania, it was difficult to relax in a room with a wide 々 after 10 minutes of the end at 21 o'clock !! Stay in a corner twin room. I felt it last time, but from the corner, the night view of the Tokyo side and the night view of the sea side were enjoyable and rich. The room was large, so the child was playing with a large sofa and bed. Staying at this hotel was also a plus and became one of the big events. The staff 々 response was very good and it was comfortable only for the sophisticated. Breakfast was also a great restaurant with a harbor view called penthouse, both Japanese and Western foods were prepared and enjoyed in buffet style. The child was also very satisfied and full of stomach! It is the best hotel recommended when going to events around Laraport, Kizzania and Toyosu in the family! We will use it again.

Let’s talk about the shortcomings first. It’s about 8-10 minutes away from the subway station, which is a bit far. The hotel is very new and there will be a slight smell, but it is not necessarily that sensitive. The hotel is very clean and well cleaned. There are a lot of advantages, it is very new, very new, and the facilities are very complete. It has a large area and can open two 26-inch or 28-inch suitcases at the same time. The bed is very wide, the bedding is comfortable, and there are sockets on both sides of the bed. There is a small refrigerator and a relatively large bathtub. The bathroom is very large and the water temperature and pressure are very good. The bathroom is also very large, with domestic standards. At the front desk, there are Sekkisei facial cleansers, lotions, cleansing oil masks, and bath salts for bathing (there are many types).

This hotel is about 10 minutes away from Katsushika Station. Exit the station, cross the traffic lights, cross a bridge and pass through a park. The first thing to do is to advise and advise everyone that this hotel is not recommended no matter how good it is , Because it was not soundproof at all and could not sleep at all, we stayed for 2 nights, the first night from 3 am to 5 am, a Japanese woman and a Japanese child in the corridor outside, spoke clearly in the aisle, and thought that they I was able to sleep quietly, and came to the northeast aunt to talk all the way in the morning, and stayed up all night. Later, I studied it. The rooms are separated by wooden boards. There is a little movement in the next door or the corridor I heard it clearly. I lived in Tokyo, Osaka, Japan for a total of 10 days. This one is the worst in terms of soundproofing and bedding. There is no one, and I will not book this one in the future. Because it was determined by the review before, no comment mentioned this issue, but in the end I felt deeply hurt by this issue. How can I tell the true situation to the friends today.さ よ う な ら ❗️

A little good business hotel, city hotel, and you will get more satisfaction. I wonder if I should expect too much ‥ in the Gulf area. Of course, the staff will respond politely. Is it due to personality? I felt sorry for those who lack explanation. I spent my time actively asking ”can you please?” ”Can I?” etc. I entered the winter vacation and there were many small children with the baby welcome inn.

Staying at this hotel for the first time, a business hotel in a very convenient location. Up to the 11th floor are formal hotel rooms, and above the 12th floor are guesthouse-like rooms converted from residential buildings. The front desk is on the second floor. On the second floor, there are small bridges and artificial waterfalls. There are restaurants and lounges. The hotel is next to the canal and the Ota River of the big river. The scenery is very good. If you need to visit the water scenery, leave the water bus very close. There are still a few more steps to reach the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Players Village. There are many commercial facilities on the roadside. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Tsukiji Market. It is about 15 minutes walking to Ginza, which is very convenient for living and shopping. We stayed here for 5 nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids of 2 and 5 years old). We had a wonderful stay. It is a nice boutique hotel just stone throw away from Tsukiji market. We enjoyed the nice seafood for dinner and the market is vibrant since early morning. There’s a drink machine serving complimentary tea, coffee and chocolate in reception area and the kids love it. The staff are all very helpful and polite. The breakfast is plentiful and yummy. They even have a public bath though our itinerary was packed so didnt have time to try. All hot water, tv, air conditioning functioned perfectly. They had 4 lifts which could easily fit all of us plus two strollers. There is convenient store just downstairs where we could get stuff. Location wise was not a concern as we traveled by Uber and taxi. But the taxi fee is just around JPY1500 or less to Tokyo station. We could also walk to Ginza. It's really unexpectedly good. The apartment building is very new and decorated simply and plainly, but it has complete facilities, especially the kitchen, bathroom, toiletries and other items. The apartment has an excellent location, right inside Tsukiji Market, a 5-minute walk from the nearest subway station, and there is a bus to Ginza at the main intersection. All the staff at the front desk can speak fluent English and have a friendly attitude. The front desk took the initiative to help us book a taxi on the day we left, which was very heartwarming. This is a highly recommended hotel-style apartment. It is most suitable for family travel. Breakfast or dinner can be served in the room, which is convenient for travel. Tsukiji, Yurakucho Shintomi Cho on the Hibiya line is within 10 minutes walk, and there are ion supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which is the best hotel for long stays.

Room was very small and very uncomfortable because of space/Ventalation. As the room had no Ventilation it was very stuffy and not comfortable. Breakfast was not Continental type more oriented for Chinese Cusine. Very difficult for the international travellers.

The service is satisfactory. It's great to have free hot spring bathing in the hotel every day. It's convenient and close to the subway station. The night view is also very nice👍

Tokyo alone travel Tsukiji and Tsukiji Markets right in front of the hotel There's a ramen shop and a convenience near the hotel. The staff was so friendly and clean I didn't expect breakfast, but I was surprised that it was delicious. I'm willing to go to Tokyo again.

Great location and everything, except service, which was close to none. The guy who checked me in did not have a good attitude. The other staffs I saw the next day also didn't look friendly. Apart from that, the room was decent. Suitable for single person. Plus points for trousers presser (didn't quite do the job tho. Either that or I didn't wait longgg enough) and washing machine.

Caveat: only stayed here one night and left early morning so we didn’t experience the gym or breakfast. Service was great, such as the staff waiting for us in the lobby at 5:40am because they knew we’d booked a taxi and wanted to help with the bags. That kind of proactive service. Martinis at the bar were perfect; live music made for nice ambience; check in and express check out on the TV were super quick. Dinner at the teppanyaki restaurant downstairs was delicious although surprising the staff barely spoke any English (we arrived from a small country ryokan so this was surprising in Tokyo). But Japanese people are so wonderful and friendly you can always get by with some menu pointing and miming. The real magic here though is having your own balcony, which in central Tokyo is a rare treat (pic is our view from balcony). I’d definitely stay here again.
