Our stay at Sanya Yintai Hotel was absolutely amazing! As a long-standing five-star hotel, its location is simply unbeatable. You can walk through beautiful tropical gardens directly to its private beach, and being in the heart of Dadonghai makes getting around super convenient. We stayed in a sea-view room, and the view was incredible. From the balcony, we could look right out onto the turquoise sea and coconut groves. The room itself was clean and tidy, with fresh and airy rattan furniture. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the thoughtful details included complimentary Hainan tea and special amenities for children. The facilities are extensive, with three outdoor swimming pools and a kids' club, perfect for families with children. The breakfast buffet offered such a wide variety of dishes that you could easily eat until lunchtime, and the seafood BBQ with live band created a fantastic atmosphere. The service was particularly heartwarming – prompt, professional, and truly deserving of its 'National Civilized Tourism示范单位' (Model Unit for Civilized Tourism) recognition. The value for money is outstanding, making it perfect for both couples on vacation and families traveling with kids. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Sanya!

I stayed here for one night, on my first day in Sanya. Everyone at the hotel was smiling, incredibly warm and attentive, and the greetings were very friendly. The front desk staff even helped me with my luggage to my room, which was great. The room was a bit compact, but the price was reasonable considering it was peak season. The bedding was comfortable and very clean. I really loved the overall design style of the hotel, with tropical plants everywhere and plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. Welcome fruit: Yes, there was welcome fruit, which was a nice touch! 👍

【Sanya Howard Johnson Resort – A Perfect, Much-Anticipated Getaway】⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I finally found my ideal resort paradise in Sanya! The Howard Johnson Resort far exceeded my expectations; the entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was simply perfect. 🌴 Environment and Location: The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location on Sanya Bay. A stroll through lush tropical gardens leads directly to the pristine white sand beach. The 180° sea view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sound of waves every morning and taking an evening walk under the coconut trees as the sun set truly brought the dream of ”facing the sea, with spring blossoms” to life. 🏨 Room Experience: Our sea-view suite was spacious and bright, with an elegant and comfortable modern Southeast Asian design. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the toiletries were high-quality – attention to detail was evident everywhere. The balcony lounge chair became my favorite spot to relax and unwind, with the sea breeze offering ultimate comfort. 🍽️ Dining Services: The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with Hainanese specialties like seafood fermented vinegar noodles and freshly cooked Hou'an noodles being particularly memorable. The seafood BBQ buffet we had for dinner at the hotel was excellent value for money. 👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: The kids' club had a wide range of activities, and the water park kept the children thoroughly entertained. The family-themed rooms were decorated with playful charm, and there was a delightful little dolphin plush toy surprise every day. Our butler, KAY, was incredibly warm and attentive. I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Sanya, and I will definitely be back! 📍 Helpful Tips: * It's very convenient to reach the beach via an underpass. * The hotel gardens are perfect for photos; I recommend bringing light-colored dresses. * Staying during the off-season offers fantastic value, with sea-view rooms being a great deal. If you're looking for a relaxing beach holiday in Sanya, the Howard Johnson Resort is undoubtedly the best choice!

Perfect for a family vacation! The hotel has a huge kids' club, a heated pool, and water slides – my child didn't want to leave. The room had a special family setup, and the breakfast spread was extensive. My kids absolutely loved the underwater restaurant. Gina from guest services proactively arranged family activities, and there were exclusive sun loungers on the beach. My whole family was very satisfied, highly recommended! Kids' club + huge pool + daily family activities, my child was happy the whole time. Gina was available 24/7, proactively communicating before check-in and quick to respond to requests. The cleaning was meticulous, making for an excellent experience.

My experience at the Crowne Plaza Sanya Bay Resort was absolutely perfect! Before arrival, the hotel called to confirm my check-in time, arranged a butler to understand my needs, and even upgraded my room. Opening the window revealed a stunning view; the beach with swaying palm trees from the balcony was truly delightful. The room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with cozy bedding. The shower was fantastic, with a powerful overhead rain shower. One of the best things about choosing this hotel is its proximity to Sanya Airport and Tianya Town, making it super convenient to visit the Tianya Haijiao scenic area, and Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone is also easily accessible. If you have a morning flight to Sanya, staying at the Crowne Plaza Sanya Bay Resort is a great choice as getting a taxi to the airport is incredibly convenient.

The room, though a bit old, clearly just underwent renovations. I stayed on the seventh floor and had a view of trees, the sea, mountains, and the sunset. The bathroom blinds couldn't be opened from the outside, and the bathroom light lacked a nightlight – these definitely need improvement. There's also no place to put toiletries in the shower, which should be addressed. The front desk staff was responsive. Since the trees were too dense to see the sea from the fifth floor, they moved me to the seventh. The hallway has carpet, and there was an air purifier in the room. The room's cleanliness was good; cups had no water marks, and the toilet lid was clean. The breakfast, based on the pictures, is served in two areas, so it shouldn't be crowded. There are plenty of coffee machines. Unfortunately, I'm not good with powders, so I just ate randomly. You can grab beach towels freely. The heated pool faces the ocean, and the lanes inside were thankfully free of children, which was great. In the evenings, there was bonfire dancing. The hammocks on the hillside were often occupied by people live-streaming. The buffet dinner offered crab, salmon, tuna, and the red wine was better than the white. I got to use the paddleboard for half an hour, and when I was checking out, the front desk lady waived the fee, which I appreciated. The takeaway cabinet is conveniently located at the lobby entrance. Across the road, there's a fruit shop, a small convenience store, and places to eat – very convenient. Turning left upon leaving the hotel, there's a food court, also very convenient. The public areas have a complex design, making it easy to get lost at night. Afternoon tea was good, especially if you're with a larger group. There's singing in the lobby until 10 PM, creating a lively atmosphere. Oh, and the balcony gets sun in the afternoon, perfect for drying clothes; I recommend bringing two swimsuits to alternate. My only complaint is that the elevator is quite a distance away.

This hotel, which I had high hopes for, turned out to be quite mediocre and didn't really impress me. The family suite, with one king bed and one small single bed, wasn't practical at all. For two adults and two children, it was still a very cramped sleep. I sincerely suggest replacing that useless sofa with a proper bed. The bathtub was quite large, but there was only one shower stall, and it was tiny. There was also a musty smell. It completely fell short compared to the family room at Tianyu. The public areas had nice views, but there was constant construction. One moment, this area was blocked off, the next, that side was cordoned off. The water features were well-designed but impractical, as the water was too cold. There was a very small heated pool, but at one meter deep, it was destined to be a gathering spot for young children. It was incredibly dirty inside, with a lot of sand. There was also a children's splash area, separated from the main public area by Building 5. You had to go through the indoor kids' club to get to it, which felt awkward and meant hardly anyone went there. It was actually quite nice though. The breakfast restaurant was small and very crowded, usually requiring a wait. I stayed for 4 days and only on the last day did I discover that the Chinese restaurant across the way was also an option. Nobody informed us; we found out ourselves. The seaside buffet dinner was extremely windy. Eating there for a day, we were buffeted quite a bit. Another time, I wanted to switch to a set meal at an indoor restaurant, but after discussing it, they wouldn't allow the change. So we had to go there again, but the menu didn't change daily, so we had the exact same meal two days in a row.

The moment I arrived, the doorman proactively stepped forward to help with my luggage. His genuine, yet professional, smile instantly melted away the fatigue from my journey. Stepping into the lobby, I was greeted by warm lighting perfectly complementing the simple yet elegant decor, with wooden accents and lush greenery creating a harmonious blend. A subtle, calming aroma diffused through the air, making the space feel both tranquil and restorative. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient, quickly completing my check-in and thoughtfully informing me about the hotel's facilities and operating hours. When handing over my room card, they even reminded me of the elevator's location. The bellhop then promptly delivered my luggage directly to my room—the entire process was seamless and attentive. This stay was truly perfect; from the facilities to the service, every aspect was impeccable. If I ever return to this city, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality accommodation experience; I believe it will exceed all your expectations and leave you thoroughly impressed!

What an incredible night, it felt like all my previous trips to Sanya were wasted! I've stayed in plenty of five-star hotels around this area, but this was my first time at MGM. I brought my parents to Sanya, hoping they'd enjoy themselves since they're getting on in years, so I booked this full ocean-view suite. They were absolutely thrilled! The large balcony was perfect for photos and watching the sunrise – truly amazing. The service was exceptionally good, especially from Xiao Hu. He took care of us every step of the way, adding me on WeChat the day before to help with arrangements. Before our room was ready, he even arranged a temporary room for my parents to rest in. The suite included breakfast at the beachfront restaurant, and the à la carte options were incredibly exquisite. Originally, only two breakfasts were included, but Xiao Hu helped us get an extra one for free. The hotel also had a lot of lively activities in the evening.

Pros: 1. Direct access to the beach from the hotel. 2. Spacious rooms; even the garden view rooms offer a glimpse of the sea. Good value for money outside of peak season. 3. Hotel provides free beach chairs on the sand for guests, supervised by staff. 4. There's a return point for Dai Zhu Zhi Xing (an Alipay mini-program for electric scooter rentals) right next to the hotel, making it easy to rent a scooter and explore. Cons: 1. Live TV channels cost extra; otherwise, you can only watch for 3 minutes. 2. Instant noodles and beverages in the room are chargeable, but this wasn't communicated in advance, nor was there any clear signage in the room or price tags on the items themselves. 3. Some wear and tear on the walls, door frames, and hardware, but nothing major. 4. Quite a distance from the night market and commercial areas, but electric scooter rentals are available for transport.

Facilities: The hotel has been open for many years and is a bit old, but the facilities are well-maintained. Hygiene: Very clean, it's clear the cleaning staff are meticulous. Environment: The environment is outstanding. The garden is huge, and the infinity pool faces the sea directly, perfect for relaxing at the hotel. Service: Upon arrival, a concierge helped with luggage, and check-in was quick. The passion fruit service (likely a staff member's name or a special service) was enthusiastic. We arrived during peak hours, and while we were queuing, they proactively came over to greet us, offered lemon water, and even recommended local dining and entertainment options. 👍

Overall, I'd still highly recommend this place. It has a kitchen with basic cooking utensils, so you can prepare your own meals, which is great for families traveling with elderly people or children. Since it's an apartment, it's different from a resort hotel, but the price is really good, offering excellent value for money. The owner's attitude was fantastic. On the first day, I actually had a minor issue with the room. After I reported it in the group chat to the owner and property manager, they responded very quickly. The owner even came to the room with a ladder himself to fix it – truly dedicated to running the business. Here are some suggestions for improvement: 1. The toilet paper quality could be better; I suggest upgrading it. 2. The water heater is electric. After two people shower, you have to wait half an hour for hot water. It would be best to inform guests about this before check-in, otherwise, running out of hot water halfway through a shower, especially with children, can be quite frustrating. 3. It would be better if the DIY breakfast items were purchased according to the number of guests and duration of stay. This would prevent waste from uneaten food that can't be taken away. 4. Before check-in, the Ctrip order showed complimentary travel photography, children's swim rings, and sand play tools. These might not be offered unless you proactively ask upon arrival. However, I think shared children's sand play tools are a great idea as they reduce waste. I suggest actively offering or asking guests about these amenities upon check-in for a better experience. Finally, I wish Yanshe all the best for the future!

Choosing Haitang Yuesu for this trip to Sanya is like finding a treasure! As soon as I arrived at the homestay, the front desk staff warmly welcomed me, checked in super quickly, and also introduced the surrounding fun places. The favorability was instantly full! The room was full of surprises. We chose the Mediterranean style. As soon as I entered the room, the blue and white color scheme seemed to pull me to the romantic seaside. The furniture and appliances are super complete, with smart voice assistants, large-screen TVs, refrigerators, and balcony washing machines. It is so convenient to live! The bedding is soft and comfortable, and I slept very well at night. And the room is spotlessly clean, and the details are full of care. The supporting facilities of the homestay are luxurious. There is a gym with complete equipment. I get up early every day to exercise; the water quality of the swimming pool is clear, and it is so pleasant to swim in it; there is also a billiard room and a children's playground. The children don't want to leave after playing. The scenery of the park is pleasant, the central lake is sparkling, and it is so comfortable to walk by the lake in the evening and blow the breeze. Traveling and shopping are also very convenient. It takes only 6 minutes to drive to the duty-free shop, and it takes only 20 minutes to go to Atlantis and Haichang Fantasy Ocean City. This stay experience is great. Next time I come to Sanya, I will choose Haitang Yuesu!

I recently stayed at this hotel for a week and wanted to compare it to my experience four years ago. The hotel's exterior has barely changed over this period, now looking a bit worn. It's clear that there haven't been any renovations or updates to the facilities in years. However, it still maintains a comfortable atmosphere. On the other hand, you can also sense that hotel management is doing everything possible to cut costs, trimming anything they deem non-essential. The breakfast has become much simpler, with very, very, very limited variety and options. The food also has a distinctly ”cheap” taste. Of course, you won't go hungry, and you'll always find one or two dishes you like, but it's certainly not the lavish buffet you'd expect from a high-end hotel anymore. Evidence of cost-cutting is also visible in the hotel's infrastructure and beach area. There aren't many sun loungers on the beach, and most of them are in need of repair. However, not everything is negative. The hotel staff are still incredibly hardworking and enthusiastic. Rooms are cleaned promptly, the bedding and towels are spotlessly white, and the front desk staff are very efficient. Overall, these are the most important aspects for any hotel. By international standards, this hotel genuinely deserves a 3-4 star rating. Regarding the hotel's location, I'd like to highlight Xiaodonghai Bay. It's picturesque with beautiful scenery, far from the perpetually bustling Dadonghai. For those seeking tranquility, it's an excellent choice, yet it's also close enough to Dadonghai that you can easily take a taxi to the vibrant resort areas.

This hotel is indeed quite old; you can tell by the facilities and overall environment that it's dated. The front desk service was excellent, but the restaurant service was absolutely awful. The waitresses in the restaurant either couldn't understand what I was saying or deliberately ignored me. You'd ask a question, wait 10 seconds, and then they'd mumble a few words in a tiny voice. I didn't even need service, just a simple answer to my question.

Service: The service was excellent. The butler contacted me in advance and explained all the available services. Their responses were also quite prompt. Much better than the other two hotels I stayed at later. Environment: It was pretty good, and the view was fantastic. There's also a sky bar on the rooftop. The square dancing downstairs usually stops around 10 PM. Right downstairs, there's a direct shuttle to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and public buses that go to various places. It can be a bit congested, but not as bad as Dadonghai. Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, but they were very clean. The air conditioning was a little noisy. Breakfast: It was decent. They had simple Chinese and Western breakfast options, and drinks like soy milk, coffee, and milk. I enjoyed the braised eggs and fried rice. I had all my other meals outside.

Close to the airport but not noisy. Room service was good, and breakfast was decent – those are the pros. As for the cons, I asked the front desk staff for a better room when checking in, and she readily agreed with a poker face, only to give me a terrible one. It had a pungent smell, so I had to go back and forth to the lobby myself to request a room change, which finally worked. This front desk staff member was the most unsatisfactory part of my stay. Only the small kids' pool was heated, and it felt like a sardine can; every stroke, I'd bump into someone's leg. The water under the waterslide was freezing cold and completely unusable. The hotel beach is public, full of hawkers, and non-hotel guests occupied the lounge chairs with no one doing anything about it. Plus, there were betel nut bugs everywhere – both my legs were covered in bites after returning. I've been to Sanya five times, and this is the first time this has happened, which means this beach is the dirtiest. Oh, and everyone was smoking. I had hoped to clear my lungs this winter, but this hotel only offered secondhand smoke. My blessings to them are in the pictures.

The room's cleanliness was excellent, and the bedding was impeccably tidy. The large balcony offered a great view. However, the furniture in the room was a bit old-fashioned, though one could also describe it as 'old money' style. You can tell it has a history, but it's very well-maintained, giving it a real sense of heritage. The room service was exceptionally thoughtful. From check-in, they carefully inquired about my preferences, and it seemed like customer service representative 711 even called to ask about my room requirements. After check-in, the room attendant also brought a welcome fruit platter, which was a very nice touch. The only downside was that the breakfast selection was quite limited, lacking local specialties, and there weren't many Western pastries or bread options.

I just got back from Sanya and took a few days to adjust before coming to Ctrip. How do I describe my stay at the Holiday Inn? I'm a Northeasterner who goes to Sanya every year to escape the coldest days of winter. Hotels in Sanya generally prioritize service, and room upgrades are common. So, how do I rate the Holiday Inn? In my opinion, the butler service wasn't very noticeable. The hotel is quite small. It calls itself a family-friendly hotel, but compared to other family hotels, the activities felt a bit perfunctory. It might be suitable for very young children because the hotel's small size could make getting around easier. However, for kids aged 5 and up, I think they'd get bored after a day. The hotel's interior felt relatively newer than some other hotels, as it's been renovated, which is a plus. Of course, if you can get it for around 600 RMB when there's a discount, I think it's a decent option. Breakfast was good (but again, small hotel, limited seating!). I booked a bit late and paid over 1200 RMB per night, and for that price, there are many better options next time. They gave my child a complimentary room card, which my kid loved... but even my child said, 'Mommy, let's not come back next time!' My child has stayed at other family-friendly hotels in Sanya. Overall, the hotel, both in terms of environment and service, didn't feel grand enough or particularly welcoming to children. It felt a bit cold. But it's not a major flaw, just that compared to some other places, there are better choices out there.

There were so many activities, like fruit picking and pizza making – we had a blast! Five-star review, we'll definitely come again. During your stay, the minibar is complimentary for one use. Adorable Kids' Club activities: Rich and diverse. Hotel shuttle to the beach: Convenient.

My experience at Sanya Yalong Bay No. 5 Villa Resort completely exceeded my expectations for a 'holiday getaway'! The moment I stepped into the resort, I was captivated by the bamboo grove path – tall green bamboo trees created a canopy, and a winding stone path led deeper inside. It felt like stumbling into a secluded Jiangnan garden, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that wonderfully contrasted with Sanya's tropical vibe 🌿. Walking towards the villas, I was surrounded by coconut groves and lake views, with staggered rooftops and clouds circling distant mountains. It was as if the rainforest had been brought right into the hotel; every step was a picturesque scene that needed no filter. The infinity pool was the biggest surprise! With crystal-clear water on one side and the lake view on the other, and hazy mountains in the distance, soaking in the water and watching the clouds drift by made time itself slow down. From the gardens to the facilities, from the private and well-appointed villas to the incredibly healing greenery everywhere, this stay cemented the 'holiday ritual' into the experience. Five stars aren't even enough to praise it!

The complex is quite big and beautiful, it has its own shopping arcade and dining streets, but not enough people to book in there to make the area more lively, the room price is really cheap compared to other international branded name resorts, it has six different buildings inside the complex which can easily accommodate thousand of guests if fully booked

The hotel was okay overall. Quite good breakfasts. Just only the smoking of Chinese people during the breakfast is really terrible! On the better hotels the smoking should be forbidden! Bar and cafes bar was closed for no reason, because hotel was completely full. And the gym is bit outdated.

If I had to sum up my stay at The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay, in two words, they would be ”pristine” and ”transparent.” This isn't just about the world-renowned seamless blend of sky and sea at Yalong Bay, but also how it permeated every inch of the hotel. Even for someone as particular about cleanliness and environment as myself, it offered an unblemished sense of peace and comfort. Regarding cleanliness: A Triumph of Detail From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the bright and clean sensory experience of black orchid fragrance enveloped me. The highly polished marble floors were free of any water stains or footprints (which is incredibly rare in a humid coastal area), and the air carried a faint, natural botanical scent, not an overpowering disinfectant smell. The check-in counter felt dry and refreshing to the touch. The cleanliness of the room was even more impressive. Walking barefoot on the carpet, it felt plush and soft, without any gritty particles, indicating how thoroughly it had been vacuumed. The bathroom is often the 'litmus test' for cleanliness, and here, the white tile grout was pristine, the glass shower enclosure was spotless without any water marks, and the metal faucets and fixtures were polished to a brilliant shine, reflecting a warm glow. The whiteness of the bedding and the crispness of the cotton were clear signs of high-standard washing and ironing. What gave me the most peace of mind was the balcony: the lounge chair cushions were dry and clean, and the table and railings had no sticky residue or salt stains from the sea breeze, as if they were meticulously maintained at every moment. This ubiquitous, high-standard cleanliness created an ultimate physical foundation for relaxation. Regarding the beach: A Zero-Distance Pristine Embrace The hotel's connection to the beach is one of the most thoughtfully designed and well-maintained I've ever seen. The transition from the gardens to the sand was seamless. The hotel's exclusive beach area had sand as fine as if it had been filtered, with hardly any shell fragments or debris. Every morning, I saw staff meticulously grooming it with professional sand sifting tools, no wonder walking barefoot on it was so comfortable. Even more noteworthy was the water's clarity; in front of the hotel, it was exceptionally clear. Wading in, I could easily see the patterns of the white sand beneath my feet. All these wonderful environmental experiences became even more vibrant and convenient thanks to our butler, Jennie. She was like the guardian and guide of this ”purity.” It was Jennie's ability to combine ”extreme environmental maintenance” with ”seamless attention to guest experience” that made me feel truly luxurious service. She not only ensured guests were in an impeccable physical environment but also, through anticipation and detailed service, allowed them to immerse themselves more purely and without burden. One could say that The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay, with its hardware and management, created a ”pristine” stage for me; and our butler, Jennie, was the thoughtful director, ensuring I could enjoy this perfect performance, resonating with the sea and sky, in the most comfortable and leisurely way. For this rare dual perfect score in environment and service, I will certainly return.

10/10 MUST-STAY in Sanya! Oakwood Apartments totally exceeded my expectations—the room is insanely spacious and beautifully designed, with modern decor that feels both elegant and cozy. Whether you’re lounging in the separate sitting area or enjoying the private balcony, the space never feels cramped—perfect for families, groups, or anyone who hates tiny hotel rooms! The location is unbeatable: there’s a lively food market right downstairs, and countless restaurants (from local snacks to casual dining) are within walking distance—no need to travel far for delicious meals 🍜. Plus, it’s close to Sanya Bay and easy to get to attractions or the airport via public transport. To top it off, the amenities are fantastic—free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen (great for cooking fresh seafood from the market!), clean facilities, and even pools and a gym if you want to unwind. The staff is also super friendly and helpful, making check-in/out a breeze. I can’t say enough good things—this is my new go-to in Sanya. Our trip to Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was absolutely delightful, thanks to the authentic flavors at the Thai restaurant and the attentive service from our butler, Rachel. These two pleasant surprises truly made our island vacation incredibly enjoyable. The hotel's Thai restaurant is arguably the best Thai food in Yalong Bay. The 'Red Label' certification from the Thai Ministry of Commerce is well-deserved. The Southeast Asian-inspired decor, coupled with stunning sea views, creates an incredible ambiance, especially when dining by the window with a gentle sea breeze. The flavors are so authentic, it felt like we were right on the streets of Bangkok. We highly recommend the yellow curry with crab – the crab meat was fresh and plump, and the rich, aromatic curry made us want two bowls of rice! The Tom Yum Goong soup was wonderfully sour and spicy, with fresh, springy prawns and a strong aroma of lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The Thai pineapple fried rice had perfectly separated grains, and the sweetness of the pineapple combined with the freshness of the shrimp and cashews offered a rich texture. Even the mango sticky rice dessert was amazing – the coconut sticky rice paired with super sweet mango was refreshing and delicious. The portions were generous, offering great value for money, and the restaurant service was attentive and efficient, making us feel cared for throughout. We were even luckier to have Rachel as our butler. Her professionalism and thoughtfulness made our entire stay seamless. She proactively contacted us in advance to confirm our itinerary, reminded us about Sanya's weather, and provided travel tips. Upon arrival, she helped us with our luggage, swiftly handled check-in, and meticulously explained the hotel facilities and how to best enjoy the Thai restaurant. During our stay, Rachel responded instantly to all our needs. When we wanted to dine at the Thai restaurant, she thoughtfully reserved a sea-view table for us and recommended classic dishes. When our return flight was delayed, she proactively helped us apply for a late check-out and even sent up a fruit platter. Her service was never rigid or by-the-book; instead, she always anticipated our needs from a guest's perspective. Her gentle and patient demeanor made us feel a warm, familial comfort in an unfamiliar city. With delicious Thai cuisine and such warm, personalized butler service, Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort is truly the perfect choice for a Sanya vacation. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

The Sanya Haiyun Resort Hotel is beautiful. I'd like to extend a special thank you to the staff member who contacted us on January 8th, 2026, before our check-in, to ask about our requests, needs, and preferences. Because I wanted to admire the sky garden and hoped for a prime location to enjoy it while also having fun, the staff member specifically reserved room 11101 for me, right next to the sky garden. This allowed me to capture photos of the sky garden at dawn, as the morning light met the rising sun, and bathed in the morning sun – it was absolutely stunning. Although I don't know the staff member's name, I am incredibly grateful to her. The hotel should be able to identify her based on the duty roster. I hope the hotel continues to thrive. It was a wonderful surprise, and I loved it. I also managed to get panoramic views of Sanya Bay from the sky garden. I stayed with my mom this time, and I'll definitely be back with friends in the future. Thank you!

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! We decided to come here for a spontaneous getaway with the family. While looking for hotels online, I did some research and saw that the Metropark Hotel had tons of great reviews, almost no negative ones. So, I booked it. Upon arrival, we were continuously impressed. Compared to other five-star hotels, not only was the price more affordable, but the view was absolutely unbeatable – a bay view room! It offered incredible value for money, less than a thousand yuan for one night. I forgot to add breakfast when booking, so I called the hotel, and they even sent us breakfast. This hotel truly feels genuine and thoughtful. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely come back next time. Thank you, enthusiastic Sanya. My impression has definitely improved.

What you see is what you get. We booked a suite with a king-size bed and a twin bed. The room was quite spacious, probably living up to the 70 square meters mentioned on the details page. Our suite's balcony faced an area outside the Xinghua complex, and coincidentally, the hotel across the street was undergoing construction. The hotel called us in advance to let us know, but honestly, with the balcony door closed, it wasn't much of an issue, and the construction was intermittent. We spent most of our time with the kids participating in hotel activities and playing in the sand and water at the beach, so it didn't really bother us. The hotel assigned a butler two days before check-in to help with the check-in process and book parent-child activities. The parent-child facilities and swimming pools are shared with the Hualuxe, and it's very close to the beach. Yalong Bay's water is crystal clear, making it perfect for families with kids. This was my first time in Sanya, and I've stayed at some pretty good hotels. Compared to the five-star hotels in Sanya Bay, I much preferred the Xinghua in Yalong Bay this time. Next time I bring the kids, I'll definitely only book in Yalong Bay.

Stayed here for three nights, and overall it was decent. It was super crowded, which made for a lively atmosphere, but we had to queue just to get into breakfast, though the wait wasn't too long. The prices here are really high. A bottle of Coke Zero at the water park was 28, and a serving of Oden (6 skewers) was 48 (68 downstairs at the hotel). A single squid skewer was 48! At the Japanese restaurant downstairs, a bowl of Udon was 138 and a beef rice bowl was 168. We really should have taken a taxi to eat out, but we were just too lazy 😭. On the other hand, the room service food was delicious, and by comparison, it didn't seem so expensive. A set menu with four dishes (pictured in Figure 4) was 378. The worst experience here was the travel photography service (Fuyou Pai). The hotel offered five complimentary digital raw photos. First off, the photographer was probably in their forties or fifties, and had us pose in those old-fashioned studio styles from my childhood – and I couldn't refuse! 😭 The raw photos weren't even as good as what I could take with my phone, so I had no choice but to pay 100 for retouched versions. Then I ended up spending another 680 to buy 15 more retouched photos. That money was totally wasted. I've got a new goal for 2026: learn photography 📷. I thought the C Show performance was just okay, but the kids loved it and wanted to see it again 😓. Definitely get seats in the middle.

Bringing my parents and children to Sanya this time, choosing the Bird's Nest Resort was definitely the right decision. I only knew it was on a mountain before, but after arriving, I realized the hotel is even larger than the tropical forest park itself. The rooms are spread across several different ridges within the forest park, and shuttle buses are needed to get between each area. The mountain is rich in vegetation with beautiful scenery, offering panoramic views of Yalong Bay, distant vistas of Haitang Bay-Sanya Bay, and Wuzhizhou Island. The natural landscape and artificial gardening complement each other perfectly, with beauty at every turn. The hotel service is also very professional; every staff member is warm and attentive to guests. Manager Zhang even called every day specifically to ask about guests' experiences and made improvements promptly. The two restaurants within the hotel are both located in spots with fantastic views, many of them prime scenic tables. The food at the restaurants is delicious, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich and varied – it's the most distinctive hotel breakfast I've ever had. There are dedicated guides for exploring the park, which was a great experience. Most importantly, the hotel's density is very low, so you barely feel crowded; it's very relaxed and private, perfect for taking beautiful photos without anyone in the background.

5/5 | You absolutely HAVE to stay at this amazing hotel! Choosing it was the best decision for my Sanya trip, no regrets at all! 1. **Stunning Ocean Views + Perfect Weather:** Every morning, pulling back the curtains revealed a therapeutic blue ocean. Sanya's weather lately has been incredible – not too hot, not too cold, just perfect. Every photo I took looked like a postcard, with the sea and sky blending seamlessly! 2. **Unexpectedly Amazing Facilities:** * **Trendy Graffiti Room:** I never expected a hotel to have such a cool space! It was bright and sunny, sparking so much creativity. My kids absolutely loved playing there. * **Sunny Gym:** All the equipment was brand new. Jogging with an ocean view in the morning was pure bliss, and it was great for photos too. 3. **Room Details - Flawless:** * The bedding was as comfortable as a five-star hotel. * The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom had strong water pressure, and hot water was consistent. * Lounging on the balcony chair, watching the sea, was incredibly relaxing. 4. **Service Highlights:** * The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, providing detailed information about the hotel's facilities and extra services. * Housekeeping responded in less than 5 minutes. Every evening, we received a heartwarming handwritten card during the turndown service. Staff always greeted us with a smile, making the experience truly pleasant. 5. **Hidden Surprises:** * We arrived too early for check-in, and the front desk offered us an afternoon tea experience. The Chinese pastries tasted great, were beautifully presented, and they even had local specialty 'Qingbuliang' (a refreshing dessert soup). * Pool towels were readily available and changed whenever needed. * When we checked out, they even gave us a special Li ethnic group fan as a gift! I've already recommended this hotel to my girlfriends for their family trips! This place totally exceeded its price point – it's definitely the king of value for money. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Sanya!

The hotel features European-style architecture, a beautiful lobby, and even massage chairs. On the first floor, you'll find a restaurant, a convenience store, a gym, and more. The breakfast is a delicious buffet offering both Chinese and Western options. I wanted to add another breakfast, and the lovely waitress at the restaurant told me it would be cheaper to purchase it through the hotel's **livestream**, which I did. It was a great deal. I stayed for four nights in a deluxe double room with a bathtub. The room was spacious and quiet, and it was cleaned daily. If needed, the cleaning staff would change the bed linens every day. The only minor drawback was that the bathtub in the room was a bit old. I brought my own bathtub cleaner and gave it a good scrub. A hot bath before bed was very relaxing. Most of the guests staying here were from Russia, and there were staff members who spoke Russian. Nearby, there are Summer Department Store and Big Pineapple Mall, and it's about 700 meters to Lulingkou (bus stop), making transportation convenient. Plus, there are various snack shops nearby, so dinner is easily sorted. My flight was late, so I wanted to extend my check-out by two hours. The kind lady at the front desk was very nice and helped me with the late check-out. Additionally, the hotel beds are quite firm, which is perfect for people with back pain or herniated discs. My mother, who has a herniated disc, found the hotel's firm bed incredibly comfortable, and I did too. The hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

December 24th and 25th, 2025. The breakfast was quite ordinary, though the noodles they cooked tasted alright. There were a lot of Russians, about 80% of the guests. The pool is quite large, and the beach is just across the road. There are a few lounge chairs on the beach. The room decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it's still perfectly fine for a stay. The downsides are the food and the lack of good supermarkets. Dining options are very limited and poor, very poor, very poor.
