The bathroom was an even bigger surprise, with high-end toiletries like Le Labo Santal 33 hand soap and Appelles mouthwash, plus the latest Dyson hairdryer. This hotel has a fantastic vibe, apparently designed by a Beijing-based architect. The space is exquisite and super photogenic! The food was delicious 😋 and the butler service was excellent. The sound system in the room was amazing, and the in-room amenities were thoughtfully chosen and high-quality! Highly recommend! It's also very close to the high-speed train station, so you don't need to arrange transportation too far in advance.

It was my first time staying in a kang and I felt very comfortable. The kang was very big and the bathroom was very clean. Overall, it was very good. From the second floor, you can see the scenery of the city wall, which looks very nice!

Chengjia Old Home is a typical Shanxi house style, with a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle, quiet but not far from the commercial street. The room is carefully decorated and clean. The service is responsive and considerate, and the pick-up and drop-off services are in place. A very satisfying stay experience. The only thing that needs improvement is that the breakfast can have more variety.

Given that it was Chinese New Year, I expected the prices to be high. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find such a high-end guesthouse within the ancient city. It felt a bit empty inside, and not many people were there for breakfast. My only complaint is the price; otherwise, it's perfect.

I'd especially like to thank Ms. Dong Yanxia (I think that's her name) for her patient, meticulous, and attentive service, which has left me and my family with wonderful memories of this holiday!
