"The receptionist & staff are friendly and helpful..always smile even though they have a lot of customers need to check in at same time..the staff upgraded my two rooms to deluxe room with bath tub & both are huge..hair dryer & iron are upon request but for iron, the customer can use for 1 hour.. My parents room have stagnant water in the bathroom & the wall also not so clean...my room also having coffee stained at the coffee table...maybe the housekeeping shaould take care more about this. The breakfast is good & having mutiple choices... Overall, my stay with my family at this hotel is awesome.."

"I booked two rooms for our stay and had requested rooms on Level 1, preferably near the swimming pool and dining area for convenience. I appreciate that this request was accommodated . However, I was disappointed that no welcome drink was served upon arrival. In addition, although I had booked two rooms and requested large beds, one of the rooms was assigned twin beds without any prior notification. It would have been helpful if the resort had informed us in advance so that alternative arrangements could be considered. The resort has a pleasant beachfront setting and a convenient location, but better communication and attention to guest expectations would improve the overall experience."

"Although is an old hotel but the management have tried the best to keep it up to the standard in term of cleanliness and hospitality. We are family of 3 and glad to have booked a spacious room with a king sized bed and a single bed. This made our sleep very comfortable. It was reasonably priced and location is good. Not too far from all the hot tourist spots. The only things for improvement are : 1. Mini bar need time to turn cold 2. Hot water took time to heat up during peak hour"

"We arrived at 1pm & even though check in was at 3pm the front desk kindly allowed us an early check in which was much appreciated. All the staff were generally friendly & helpful. Location is good, lots of food and minimarts in the immediate area. Can also walk to Nagoya mall, about 10 to 15 mins away. We stayed in a smoking room suite. Room was spacious & clean with a simple decor. King size bed with bathrobes & slippers provided. Water pressure was good. Aircon & fridge was cold. The door lock didn't work so we just used the chain. Which was fine as the key cards only brought you up to yr specific floor so we weren't too worried. The restaurant for breakfast was nice & bright with a good variety of food. Quite fast to clear the plates. There was just a bit of a wait for seating but understand why as it was a weekend & i think it was a full house."

"Whenever I am in batam I have always booked Aston group as it's trustworthy. This time , I decided to try Aston residence due to the balcony and the mini kitchen. For me personally, the room seems a bit worn out rather than the hotel rooms itself . Water heater in my room was on and off and I couldn't get any hot water . Hot water was on for 3mins and it turned cold after. Hopefully the Management can look into it. Overall, service and accessibility to the nearby mall were convenient!"

"The hotel is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. The lobby is very bright and spacious. There is also an Indomaret just around a 2-minute walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Even though there are not many food places or restaurants nearby, it was not a problem for us since we were using a motorbike."

"I spent 2 nights at this hotel and the location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of everything, so major points there. But the bathroom… that’s where things fell apart. The showerhead holder was broken, which made every shower an awkward juggling act. And the “frosted” glass? It doesn’t actually blur anything out. If you’re showering, anyone on the bed has a front-row seat. Seriously, why even install a glass panel if it offers zero privacy? The towels didn’t help either — yellowed and oddly dark, they didn’t exactly scream “fresh and clean.” Aside from those misses, the room itself was decent enough, and the staff were a genuine highlight. Kind, helpful, always with a smile. Great location, lovely people… just maybe pack your own towel and shower with the lights off."

"I hated to repeat the same complaint again and again. last Friday stay was the 3rd time I have encountered the safe box issue. it was totally non function due to the empty battery. the hanger in the bath room was missing as well as the glass door was dirty"

And the hot shower and comfortable bed is what need from a massage and shopping at grand batam which is a walking distance. We also provide hi tea voucher which we used it after we checked out. The room was comfortable, but there was no hairdryer or fridge, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Cleanliness can also be improved, as there was dust on the toilet door. Overall, good location and service, but basic amenities and housekeeping could be better.

MMHM & D 2 J’sIf you are looking for a place that is away from the noise you can consider this hotel, it’s not that far from Nagoya and Grand Batam mall with grab which cost about IDR60-75k depending on the choice of vehicle. The room we got was worth the price paid for but I recommend for lake view as the one I chose was the view of the garden but what I see is the apartment just across our windows. The room is well maintained and clean, nice and comfy bed and pillows. Do take note that you hear music from morning till almost 10pm which was played from the open bar even I was on the 8th floor. Those who are thinking of using the gym, there is only 1 treadmill and the rest of the electric equipments are not working but you can do your run outside as the area is a gated private residential. Food for breakfast was provided with many options and my daughter and I was very happy with the varieties and I was surprised that they even have steamed sweet potatoes and tapioca which I have not seen in most places I’ve been, it was very thoughtful of them. The staffs are very friendly and always ready when you need help and kudos to the restaurant team that serves breakfast, they are very attentive and fast and stayed calm even when the place was packed of people on the weekends . Overall my stay was very pleasant and happy to come back again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

The hotel provides breakfast and clean the room daily. The room is spacious too, the minus point is Indonesia music were heard in the middle of the night for 2 nights when we were sleeping, our room is located at level 3 near the lift.

EEnderrThe biggest issue was the constant stream of ants. Even though they were tiny, it was quite off-putting. I had my laptop on the desk, then moved it to the bed, and at least four ants were crawling on it. The beachfront villa was decent, but it faced west, so no sunrise views. The shuttle service was on-call and very prompt, but the location is quite remote. In the evenings, it's hard to get around, even with Grab, unless you're eating at the hotel. If you're looking to just stay put, it's a good choice. However, I enjoy having some barbecue at night, so two nights here was enough for me.
