Absolutely fantastic! This is one of Marriott's top-tier brands, and the location is superb. You step out of the Grand Theatre subway station right into a skyscraper so tall you can't even fit it all in one wide-angle shot. The high-floor views are stunning; you can take in all of Shenzhen's hustle and bustle right from your room. From the lobby, you can see in all four directions. It's just one subway stop from Dongmen Old Street, or about a 10-15 minute walk. The Grand Theatre is right downstairs, and beyond that is Lychee Park, which is perfect for a run – lots of people out for an evening stroll. St. Regis... I wonder if the 'St' prefix means 'Saint' like in the name of a Western church?

The location is very convenient, especially being close to the train station — super helpful for travelers moving between cities. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The interior has a classic style, a bit dated for some, but personally I liked it — it gives a more luxurious and grand feel compared to modern minimalist hotels. One downside is that it’s a bit difficult to find halal food आसपास the hotel, so that might require a bit of planning if you have dietary needs. A small but important detail for us as a family: they actually provide proper towels in the family room, which not all hotels do — definitely appreciated. Overall, a solid stay for comfort and convenience.

Self-driving was hassle-free, with a spacious courtyard and ample parking, making it easy and convenient to park vehicles. The surrounding roads are well-connected, allowing for unimpeded travel to various destinations. The guest rooms were dry and clean, with warm and soft decor, effectively alleviating the fatigue of travel. Essential facilities like water, electricity, and bathroom amenities were fully equipped, meeting daily travel needs. Upon arrival, I wasn't familiar with the courtyard layout, so the staff personally guided us, meticulously explaining the locations of various areas. Check-in was exceptionally efficient, making the entire trip and stay smooth and worry-free.

Basic amenities like dental kits, soap, and shower gel were provided, but the toiletries came in small tubes rather than larger bottles, which felt inconvenient for a hotel at this price level. Bathroom slippers were also missing—only indoor slippers were provided. The bathroom lighting could be improved, though the WC area was well lit. The room included two complimentary water bottles and a hairdryer. The daytime lighting was good, but the north-facing view was not very pleasant because the neighboring area looked cluttered. Rooms on the south side may have a better view. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. When I arrived around 9:35 AM, most items were already finished. Later I learned that breakfast ends at 9:30 AM, but this was not clearly communicated at check-in. The breakfast appeared to be purely Chinese style with no obvious Western options. On the positive side, the hotel allowed a late checkout until 2 PM, which was convenient. Overall, the hotel is acceptable for the price but could improve some amenities and communication, especially considering that many international travelers stay here. ⸻ 酒店整体比较干净，属于高于平均水平，但也不是非常完美。酒店建筑看起来稍微有些年头，这可能是清洁程度没有达到更高标准的原因。不过考虑到这个价格，整体维护还是可以再提升一些。 房间比我预期的大，是一个套房，带有独立的客厅和卧室。两个房间都是朝北并且都有窗户。房间铺有地毯，感觉比较舒适。浴室和厕所是分开的，两个人使用也比较方便。床和枕头都很干净也很舒适。 酒店提供了基本的洗漱用品，比如牙具、肥皂和沐浴露。不过这些用品是小管装的，而不是大瓶装，用起来有些不方便。浴室里也没有提供防滑拖鞋，只提供了房间内穿的拖鞋。浴室的照明也比较一般，不过马桶区域的灯光还不错。房间里提供了两瓶免费的矿泉水和一个吹风机。 白天房间的采光不错，但因为房间朝北，窗外的景观不太好，看起来有些杂乱。南向的房间可能会有更好的景观。 早餐体验一般。我大约在9:35到餐厅时，大部分食物已经没有了。后来才知道早餐时间是7:00到9:30，但入住时没有明确说明。早餐基本上都是中式，没有看到明显的西式选择。 好的方面是酒店允许下午2点退房，这一点比较方便。总体来说，这家酒店在这个价格范围内还可以，但在设施和服务沟通方面还有提升空间，特别是考虑到这里也有不少国际游客入住。

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is super convenient; it's just a few steps from Exit D of the Grand Theater, and you can walk to the old street in about 10 minutes, no taxi needed. The room was clean and odor-free, with complete facilities and stable hot water. The service was excellent. Great location and good value for money. It's very convenient to stay here when visiting Luohu. Honestly, a fantastic experience!

I booked this last minute and got a surprisingly good deal and was even upgraded to a superior king room which comes with a bathtub. Room was spacious. Though there were obvious signs of aging e.g. towels fraying and mildew around the bathtub, everything was generally clean. Location was near huaqiangbei though i did not go there. There were a few train station exits for line 1, 9, 11 nearby about 5 to 10mins walk and there were buses to CBD and nanshan too. My only gripe is that the air-conditioning was freezing cold despite raising it to 30deg! Had to get an additional blanket from housekeeping

This hotel cum service apartment is distinguished by a few outstanding features : room functions activated by vocal command smart system (just shout out the directive and curtains will be drawn or the aircon adjusted to your desired temperature, except that the directives have to be issued in Mandarin which might then pose a problem to foreigners unfamiliar with the language); a comfortable lobby lounge with free drinks (the coffee is great) and an equally comfortable reading room with a selection of books next to the gym and roof terrace on the ninth floor; a front verandah with decking and al fresco furniture that provides a calm oasis at the heart of vibrant Dongmen. The location of this establishment, literally a few steps from both the Laojie metro station with two lines 1 and 3 (line 1 is particularly good for connecting to most major landmarks) and a plethora of shopping and dining options, also spell convenience with a capital C.
