The location is ideal, with convenience stores (konbini) just a short walk away, making everything easy and accessible. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This accommodation offers incredible value for money! It's an older Japanese-style hotel. First, let's talk about the room. The price is very affordable compared to hotels in Tenjin and Hakata, and the room size is quite large for Japan. The tatami mat area can sleep two people, and there's also a double bed, so it's more than enough space for three guests. You can spread out your belongings on the tatami. There are extra linens in the cupboard. Next, for transportation, you get off at Ohori Park Station on the K Airport Line. It's an easy five to six-minute walk. We bought a one-day subway pass, and it paid for itself with just two rides a day. Living next to the park means the environment is excellent – quiet and natural. We could stroll through Maizuru Park and Ohori Park anytime, enjoying the ginkgo and maple leaves daily. Every day, the walk to the subway station offered the most natural and beautiful scenery. Finally, let's discuss the food. This place includes breakfast, and the rice balls 🍙 are delicious, wrapped in huge bamboo shoot husks. Coffee is free 🆓 during breakfast and check-in times, with various coffee drinks available, making you feel right at home. Everything was great. It's perfect for budget-conscious travelers. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing is a bit lacking.

The front desk staff were very friendly and always greeted me when I entered and left the hotel. The room was quite spacious; I had three suitcases and still had plenty of room to move around. There are two convenience stores near the hotel, which was very convenient for buying things. To get here from the airport, take the airport line to Akasaka Station. From Exit 6 (with elevator), turn right and walk straight until you see a 4S car dealership. Turn right at that intersection and walk straight. Then, turn left at the gas station intersection, and the hotel will be a few dozen meters ahead. For a three-day stay, they don't clean the room, but you can get fresh towels from the front desk. Toothbrushes, combs, razors, and other amenities are available for self-service by the elevators in the lobby. It's not too far from Ohori Park and Tenjin. The hotel slippers are reusable, but that didn't affect my overall experience; you can always bring your own. I would definitely stay here again.

I've been staying at this hotel for over a decade, which is hard to believe! When I first came to Japan over ten years ago, this was the cheapest option, costing around 200 yen. It's still pretty much the same price now. I particularly like their Japanese-style rooms because you can roll around on the futon without falling off. 😂😂😂 The building is quite old, and the decor is a bit dated, but it's always well-maintained and clean. I love the huge, old-fashioned AC unit mounted on the wall; it's almost silent but surprisingly effective at both cooling and heating. The bathroom is tiny, sometimes it's even a bit difficult to squat down on the toilet. However, the amenities provided are quite good, like the full POLA product line. The location is also very convenient. If you like strolling through Ohori Park, it's just a short walk away. Tsurumai Park, a great spot for cherry blossom viewing, is also very close. As for breakfast, it used to be a selection of homemade traditional Japanese dishes. Now, it's been simplified to just a bread and a cup of coffee, so I don't bother with it anymore. Given that the price hasn't changed in years while living costs have steadily increased, I can understand that they're likely cutting costs.

The bath and sheets had a slight odor. However, the self check-in and check-out process was very smooth and convenient.

Traveled solo in December. The pod was clean and the sleeping area quiet. Bathroom facilities are split into separate shower stalls and toilet areas. The bed reclines and is controlled via a small iPod device. I had a large 31” suitcase, which didn’t fit under the bed. There is luggage storage in the lobby, but you’ll need to separate your personal items beforehand. If you need a place to sit, there’s a seating area on the mezzanine floor. It was quite busy when I was there, but I still managed to find a seat. Location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from Matsukiyo and Donki, and about a 3-minute walk from the Nakasu subway. Check-in was smooth. Service isn’t a standout here, mainly because there isn’t much interaction to begin with.

Great location Amenities and service ok. Self check in was a bit annoying. Breakfast decent but nothing crazy. Had better deals for less money in japan but overall not bad.

An excellent stay! Wellcabin Tenjin is perfectly located—walking distance to Canal City and Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station, and an easy subway ride from the airport. I chose a private cabin for extra space and found it very comfortable; the mattress was great and the room was spotless. The facilities are top-notch: clean bathrooms with great water pressure and a cozy common area on Level 3 with a microwave/hot water. The staff were very polite and helpful. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for comfort on a budget. I’ll definitely be back!

In fact, there is a big problem. Others are very good. After the sun is sun, the room is full of wood. I don’t know if it’s the roof or the floor. The smell is very big. My throat is inflamed.

The room is clean, the kitchenette utensils and pots are available and clean, the reception staff explained clearly 👍, although we live on the 3rd floor, we need to carry luggage, the stairs are large, and it will not cause trouble. Overall, it is not bad 👍
