Location is good and the room is clean and comfortable. I booked this hotel for two nights. The first night was at Jinling Tower and the second night was at Jinling Hotel which is a separate building. The morning after my first stay, I had some business in the city and needed some extra time to move my luggage from the first room to the second. I called the hotel and reached senior receptionist Echo Xu who allowed me to keep my luggage in the room until I returned at 3 PM. Thanks to her and the rest of the staff at Jinling, I had a pleasant trip and a marvelous stay at Jinling!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the location is great, very central with easy access to the subway station and nearby western bars/restaurant. The room was very comfortable, the bed massive, slept like a baby every night. And an extra bonus was the bathtub, which I was actually unaware of when I booked the room, so that was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast is good, a decent spread of Chinese/Western breakfast for 68 yuan a day, which is OK for what you get. Hotel staff are great, very patient and willing to help, I think a few of them speak English but I spoke Chinese which they were very patient with. The swimming pool is huge and, when I went, had nobody else, so I had this massive pool to swim in all to myself. There is a 100 yuan charge during the afternoon, though. All in all though, a fantastic hotel, and I will definitely be visiting again! :)

Nice Hotel in perfect location, getting a bit old and rooms need a upgrade to modern design. Check in was not good. Waited a very long time as at main check in time only one staff at the counter. Only after complaning a secong staff stop playing on his smartphone did checkin. That is not acceptable, long que at check in and staff ignored the que and play all time on his smartphone

The hotel is lovely old fashioned type of a grand hotel with a great service and beautiful clean and well equipped room. The view from a large window in our room was spectacular and absolutely worth the price. We skipped the breakfast in the hotel since there is a lot of restaurants in the vicinity and we went for local delicacies, although I checked out the buffet and it seemed delicious and original. A lot of crowd at the pool since it was a holiday season, and the pool was quite small, however it’s clean and has a nice surroundings. Absolutely satisfied and I would choose it again when visiting Nanjing. The city is absolutely worth a visit, very charming and interesting, a lot to do and a lot to see. The only downside is that the traffic is a nightmare but there has to be something. Recommend to check out the Confucius museum for sure, as well as the 1912 street. Great food, great people, beautiful architecture, we’ll be back! ❤️

As a regular guest at sofitel I continue to have good things to say about sofitel! The room was clean and fresh, electrical appliances in working condition and the water pressure was at reasonable standard. Under this booking I also had midnight snack and breakfast included. Although staff did forget to deliver my midnight snack. Annie at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gifted me with a salted duck gift and a small sofitel branded perfume on check out! Furthermore as a member at sofitels fitness center and swimming pool (as somebody who swims everyday here)I was slightly annoyed with the amount of people in the swimming pool. There are 2 designated sections one larger area for free play and another for those who wish you exercise undisturbed. But today there were children everywhere and the life guard didn't seem to mind that kids were disrupting these clearly set up guidelines. After waiting around an hour for things to calm down I decided to complain to her but she just agreed that it was wrong and did nothing about it... After waiting another half an hour my friend managed to have a swim. I hope more effort is put into training staff around managing people within their designated areas.

It’s a really nice hotel. Very big room and great view. Also the bath tub is very big. The bed is really soft and there’s a selection of pillows with different scents that you can order which is great. There were only two issues. First,The hotel reception staff aren’t very friendly. It felt like being checked in by robots. I kind of expected a better manner from such a good hotel brand. Second, the outdoor pool was closed. It says on the website that the outdoor pool closes if it’s raining. But it didn’t rain. The weather was quite nice. They told us it was closed for technical reasons. I felt a little bit cheated by this as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for the outdoor pool. No prior notice or message was sent. The indoor pool was open but it was extremely shabby. Felt like a public swimming pool. Overall, I feel like the hotel is tricky and offering a package which they can’t fulfill.

Booked a family twin room for Dabao + Erbao + two adults. It was a very pleasant stay. The 60-square-meter room is very warmly decorated, with edges and corners covered very carefully. It is very convenient to drive into the park. The Memphis building has a post-modernist design. The breakfast has all the basic types and tastes good. Dinner is a la carte at the hotel restaurant and the service is excellent. Dabao swims and Erbao sleeps in the room without delay. The air in Laoshan is great!

A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. Comfy bed, clean, spacious room. Nice location, walking distance there's of food, malls, coffee shops. Minus - it's cold in the room, its around 0-6'C when we stayed and hotel lend us extra heater. And it will ne better if they had a lighting above the mirror. Overall, We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

It’s a 3.5 star hotel…. room is great: clean, view (if you upgrade), balcony, huge bathroom, good bed, furnitures well-maintained. When it comes to culinary, it’s a big disasters: room service menu… no breakfast options, no drink options (except 2 local wines, not even soft drinks or water), no restaurants are having any normal drinks and very tiny food selection. Executive Club no need to pay for… even a airport lounge is doing much better. WaiMai only way to eat at such beautiful venue. It’s really a shame. Hopefully Hilton is reviewing this property and get it back on track. Really beautiful venue. Staff also very nice, just efforts from the General Manager is missing. Will not come back but would recommend for the rooms and view.

I went to Ginkgo Lake Water Park to play, and stayed in a hotel because I refused to go home at night. I was very disappointed. 1. Objective evaluation, the surrounding environment of the hotel is very early, on the edge of Ginkgo Lake, the room is a single-family villa, as if living in a park; 2. The hotel facilities are relatively old, the room has a musty smell, the buffet breakfast has few choices, and the taste is average; 3. The sanitation of the room is average, with obvious dust accumulation; 4. The most unbearable thing is the water quality. This is Nanjing. The hotel is located in Jiangning District, which has the largest production value in Nanjing. Ginkgo Lake is just outside the door, and the Yangtze River is next to it. How can there be such water quality? ? ? ! ! ! The water released is yellow and full of impurities. I am used to brushing my teeth with cold water, and the tap water released is also full of impurities. I didn’t know it at first, and I boiled a pot of hot water to drink it, but I couldn’t spit it out. I’m busy with my children and don’t have time. I’m going to call the consumer this week to make a complaint.

My first time in Nanjing, and certainly the first time staying in Jumeriah. I had a wonderful experience there. I booked a city-view room, surprisingly I was upgraded to the river-view room, Yeah !!! The room was great, it had this stunning view of the river and the island. If it was not for the work, I’d love to stay a bit longer, and enjoy the beautiful sunset with a fine glass of wine. Oh, and I love the tea set in the room, very Chinese style. The staff was lovely, especially the manager Connie who had been very hospitable and friendly. She shared some nice information about the hotel design & decode, and gave me some ideas for walking around the area. Indeed her pieces of advice helped a lot to make my first visit here much easier. I love Nanjing !! And I’ll definitely be back if I get the chance.

Loved the stay. A small complaint would be that the check-in was delayed by nearly a hour (room was available only at around 2.55pm). This was even after a specific request for possible early check in was made about 4 days before - to which the front desk responded that they may be able to arrange it if available. As a result we were left to walk around the lobby from around 12.45pm, since walking outside was not an option in the nearly 40 degree Nanjing summer weather. I wouldn't have minded if the room was simply not available till 2pm, but having to wait further almost an hour despite coming in early; left a bad first impression. Apart from this everything else went smoothly. Service was good, the breakfast buffet was great, and the room was spectacular with a great view of the Nanjing Eye. Satisfied and would recommend to a friend. Would appreciate if the staff would follow up on a special request as such and inform earlier that the room wouldn't be ready on time.

If you're travelling by train, I suggest you exit from exit 12 instead of 13 and walk around the place instead as exit 13 does not have any escalators while exit 12 has, which is better for people with luggages. The service was okay, they didn't really have the BEST service during checkin, but the housekeeping lady was really nice. Breakfast was quite good

I watched a concert at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. After it was over, I didn’t have time to rush to Nanjing South Railway Station to return to Shanghai, so I searched for a hotel nearby. I took the subway for two stops to Nanjing University of Technology and walked for another 8 minutes to the hotel. Crystal Orange is a chain, and there are basically no problems with the hardware (occasionally some small areas are damaged, which is normal, and it is not a five-star hotel). There are no restaurants around the hotel, and there is a small supermarket downstairs. If you stay temporarily for one night, you only need instant noodles. That’s it. The front desk also upgraded the room type for free, which is more than 400 yuan, which is really good value for money. Also, I didn’t bring a charger, so the front desk helped me find an Apple charging cable, which is very user-friendly.

We originally thought the train would be delayed by an hour around 9 o'clock, but later it was said that it would be delayed by 3 hours and 40 minutes. It was almost midnight, so we decisively refunded the ticket on the first floor south. I had no choice but to drag my two children with me, not wanting them to walk any longer. It was a rainy day again, so I chose the nearby Pudding Hotel on Ctrip. I was surprised to walk through the passage to the left side of the North Square and saw a small red light up to 100 meters away. I saw a special price for a twin room for more than 150 yuan. The beauty at the front desk helped upgrade a 1.5-meter bed and a 1.2-meter single bed. I guess I slept in the family room with a window and sufficient air conditioning. Overall, it was clean and tidy. I used a disposable plant fiber towel to wash my face. The hair dryer was powerful. There was nothing wrong with the bathroom except that it didn't have a shower curtain. Highly cost-effective, the per capita price is just over 50, don’t expect too much, no breakfast, just give the baby some more sleep and instant noodles with sausage. Quite comfortable. There is a supermarket downstairs and a self-service machine in the hotel. Just refund the money and return the card. The next day I bought a ticket departing from Nanjing in the afternoon, and then took the Line 3 Railway 2. I spent 20 yuan to store my luggage and then went shopping and ate at the 4 scenic spots Jiming Si Tai City Wall Xuanwu Lake. The Line 3 subway first went to Liuzhou East Road and then Spend 2 yuan to take the 535 bus to the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge from north to south at the terminal. After all, the best route is the most economical on rainy days + cooling down and dragging the baby. A total of 20+12+4=36 was spent on this half-day tour, plus one meal.
