Boyana Church Review

This small church is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site project and is worth a visit. The church can only accommodate8-10 tourists (the temperature must be controlled for the beautiful mural), which also means that the bus will not be full and full of tourists! We came by taxi and it cost around 5 euros (from the city centre).

Very old frescoes dating back to 10-13th century. Most famous one is the last supper which predates the da vinci's version!

Very Russian style, Orthodox church.

The church is very small and the frescoes inside are very beautiful. In principle, only eight people can be admitted at a time, with a time limit of 10 minutes. But 10 minutes is enough. The whole attraction takes 30 minutes. You can't take pictures in it

The ancient Boyana Church is located in the southern suburb of Sofia. It was built in the early 11th century A.D. and is famous for its good religious frescoes. It is listed as a world cultural heritage.
