Dali State Museum is located at No. 8, Xiaguan Caohe South Road, Dali Temple, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 50 mu, with a total construction area of 8,800 square meters, green area of 14,000 square meters, display area of 4,600 square meters, founded in 1986, is the first state museum in Yunnan Province to be built. The overall building is integrated, with the Bai nationality residential building in the "three squares, one photo villa", "four in five patio" shape unfolding, forming a unique garden landscape. The museum is the central institution of Dali State's investigation, excavation, collection, collection, display and research of cultural relics in Dali Prefecture, with bronze, ceramics and stone carving art as the main body, and local comprehensive museums featuring Bai ethnic folk customs. The museum has eight long-term exhibition halls and four flexible exhibition halls.
