On the 75th day of the poor tour of China, Mei Jie traveled to Hohhot in the afternoon. The Wuta Temple and Wuta Temple were originally called Cideng Temple. The Wuta Temple was only a pagoda in Cideng Temple. Later, all the temple buildings collapsed, leaving only this pagoda. This was once the birthplace of Mongolian Tibetan Buddhism. It is an affiliated temple of the seven major Zhaozhong and Xiaozhao Temple in Hohhot. The final courtyard of the temple is the Buddha Pagoda, the full name is "King Kong Shili Pagoda", which originated from the Bodhi Gaye-style tower in India. The five small towers represent the five Buddhas of the Kingdom of Kong. Built in the middle of Qing Dynasty, the tower is made of glazed brick, there are thousands of carved bodhisattvas, extremely spectacular. The north wall behind the Shelita has a Mongolian astronomical stone carving, painted with the meridian line and concentric circle of the 28 Suchijing position, is the only Mongolian recorded astronomical chart in the country. ​ Note Figure 13 (on the back wall of the Shelita), probably because of its existence, in that special era, the cultural relics pagoda was miraculously preserved.
