The London Eye is a cantilevered viewing wheel located on the south bank of the Thames in London. It is the tallest viewing Ferris wheel in Europe and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK, with more than 3 million visitors per year. The structure is 135 meters high and the wheel diameter is 120 meters. When it opened to the public in 2000, it was once the world’s tallest Ferris wheel.
