The Greek Museum of Clothing History was officially established in 1988 by the then Minister of Culture Melina Mercouri and became a non-profit organization in 1910. The museum's collection includes traditional Greek costumes, jewelry, replicas of Minos, classic Byzantine costumes, and porcelain dolls with Greek. It is an important museum to study and understand the Greek costume culture, history, tradition and other fields of the birthplace of European civilization.
