National Geopark Review

The National Geopark in Ningde Pingnan, Fujian, is located in the Baishuiyang Scenic Area of Shuangxi Town. On the front and back rivers of the shallow water square, you can enjoy the geological and geomorphological characteristics left by the previous volcanic movement.

Fujian Pingnan Baishuiyang Geopark is located in Pingnan County, Fujian Province, located at the junction of Pingnan, Zhenghe and Zhouning three counties, integrating volcanic geology, volcanic rock, volcanic landforms, water body landscape and other geological relics, documenting the long volcanoes in Baishuiyang area for more than 100 million years Geological evolution history. In August 2005, the Ministry of Land and Resources approved it as the fourth batch of national geological parks.
