About 13 km from the city center. It was an important radar and communications base during the Vietnam War and now preserves a large area of native forests with pleasant scenery. Lingying Temple is the most famous attraction on the Camellia Peninsula. It has a tallest white jade viewing world bodhisattva statue in Southeast Asia, up to 65 meters high. The temple does not charge tickets, in addition to burning incense and worshiping Buddha, you can also overlook the beautiful scenery of Da Nang city and the bay at Lingying Temple. We called a taxi halfway and drove the second half along the road. The view from the last pre-peak perspective is amazing, better than from the last peak. So if you take a taxi all the way up the mountain, when you see the gravel parking lot, let the driver stop and look to the right, you can see the whole city and the beach. We didn't see any monkeys on the way up the mountain, but saw some interesting butterflies and other insects. On the way down the mountain, we saw a bunch of macaques, which was incredible. We only visited for a short time, so if you stay a little longer and have a good look around you may see more monkeys
