与拥有天守阁的姬路城、大阪城、松本城等不一样，现在的川越城并没有城堡的建制，却保留了江户时代城下町的风貌，也算是它的一个特色吧。同时这里也并不是被圈起来收费的地方，人们依然在川越一番街中营生，满满的生活气息，让人更有历史的体验感。以钟楼为中心，分布着很多神社、寺院，以及各种在日本已不常见的藏造建筑，值得细细品味。不过主街上车多路窄，步行时要注意安全。

川越之旅也是很好玩啊，正好赶上春祭り的最后几天，看到了好多表演，买了学生票进了川越城跡早上去人还是挺少的，到了下午人就多了

富士見擼的登高，可以看到川越城的舊城跡，這裡是江戶時代的德川家族守護的城池！

A historical cultural heritage in Saitama Prefecture has retained the monuments of the Edo era. From the west exit of Kawagoe Station, there is a shopping street with various local characteristics and snacks. Going further is Xiao Edo, you can take a rickshaw to Xiduoyuan. It was the home of Tokugawa's family in the Shogun period.

Kawayue has the reputation of "Xiao Edo", because it is exempt from the intrusion of World War II, and it retains more Edo-era buildings and cultural relics than Tokyo, but it is a little far from the city. It takes about 40 minutes to take the railway from Ikebukuro to here.
