The palaces of the Ottoman Empire from the 15th to 19th centuries, which survived fires and earthquakes, have now become open museums, palaces, murals, jewellery and manuscripts that vividly tell people about the history of the Ottoman Empire in that era. Although they are not as rich as the new palaces on the other side of the sea, their rich details are lingering. Located in Istanbul, the palace overlooks Golden Point Bay and the Sea of Marmara.
