Lanka Temple is one of the five oldest temples in Phnom Penh, located in the southwest of the Independent Monument. Built by King Ponhea Yat (1405-1467). The earliest functions were Khmer and Sri Lankan monks'learning and conference centers. After being seriously destroyed in the Khmer Rouge era, it was rebuilt in 1882 to vividly reproduce the frescoes and bright ground of the Buddha's image. Buddhist holy places, or very characteristic!
