St. Peter's Church, built in Jaffa, Israel, is a medieval French church. The disciple of Jesus "Peter" preached throughout Israel. The Church of Saint Peter in Jaffa is also called the Church of Love. When Jesus taught his disciple Peter the scepter, Peter gave his love to Jesus. Outside the church are stone of love and statues of the empowering staff of Jesus. It was built in memory of the resurrection and ascension of the proud disciple St. Peter. It was destroyed twice and rebuilt in 1903.
