General Zhang Xueliang's residence was from September 1935 to the end of 1936. General Zhang Xueliang and his family lived in Xi'an. At that time, he served as deputy commander-in-chief of the Northwest Bandit Suppression Command. On the evening of December 11, 1936, it was here that Zhang Xueliang laid out his strategic plan for the next day's Xi'an Incident. Now the Xi'an Incident Memorial Hall is opened here for future generations to learn and look forward to.
