New Swan Castle was founded in 1869 and is one of the palaces established by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. King Ludwig II of Bavaria had no mentality after his succession. He was full of artistic temperament and personally participated in the design of the castle. There were a lot of Swan sculptures in it. He dreamed of making the castle a fairy world and a beautiful world of his own. In 1869, the King outlined and planned his dream world, the New Swan Castle, on the ruins of two old Swan castles in southern Bavaria. The castle is like a fantastic land of fairyland. The murals of the castle are full of magic, kings and princesses, and the ancient folklore of Swan knights. This white and often misty building is the prototype of Disney logo design and also the name of Snow White Castle.
