We stayed at this magnificent hotel during New Year's week. The room was wonderful, very personalized and cozy, equipped with every comfort, and had a splendid balcony overlooking Gare du Nord. The staff were always smiling, helpful, and courteous. The hotel's location is exceptional. The metro is practically right outside the entrance, allowing quick access to all strategic points in Paris. The rooms are perfectly soundproofed, and the breakfast is fantastic, rich and varied with all kinds of food, both sweet and savory, including cheeses and fruits.

First off, the room size isn't as cramped as many others; there's still plenty of space even with a double bed. There are two small wardrobes, and they provide a generous amount of hangers, which is incredibly convenient. They offer not just bath towels but also bathrobes, which is a fantastic touch for this price point.
The most impressive feature was that my room had a balcony. From there, you could see the street below, and in the distance, you could even catch a glimpse of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. Looking north, Sacré-Cœur Basilica was also visible. On a clear day, it was absolutely beautiful. The entire room faced west, so you should be able to see the sunset, though I didn't get to experience it.
The hardware facilities are excellent. The faucets are from a famous brand. The bathroom is compact but well-equipped, even featuring a heated rack for drying clothes. Excellent! The location is superb, right next to Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Austerlitz. We ended up staying here because our train was cancelled. The front desk was incredibly friendly; they saw I was a Marriott Bonvoy member with two kids and proactively upgraded our room from a single king bed to one with an additional sofa bed. The breakfast spread was quite generous, but we didn't get to eat it as we were rushing for our train (we hadn't booked breakfast initially). Early in the morning, the front desk lady even offered us complimentary coffee and pastries for the kids – so nice of her! The room was spacious enough, and the bedding and design were excellent. There was also a dedicated water dispenser. The drainage in the sink and bathtub was a bit slow, but when we told the front desk, they immediately sent someone to fix it. Overall, a very good experience! Satisfied! If I ever need a Marriott near a train station again, I'd definitely choose this one – very reliable! The Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again.
Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently.
Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night.
The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee.

The room is on the small side, and the single bed isn't very big either, but it's clean. The layout is a bit odd though; the toilet and washroom have separate doors, which, along with the main entrance, are all squeezed together. It's a tight squeeze and you have to be careful when opening and closing doors to avoid bumping into them.
They don't provide complimentary bottled water, slippers, or toothbrushes, but there is an electric kettle. This might be due to their agreement with Trip.com (most hotels I've booked through Trip.com usually provide kettles) – a must-have for Chinese travelers!
Breakfast was just okay. Plenty of bread and pastries, but not much salad.
Getting around is super convenient, and it's located in a safe area right next to the Pullman. You barely see any 'loiterers' around. The Seine, metro station, and Eiffel Tower are all just a few hundred meters away. Dining options are plentiful too, but be warned: some restaurants nearby are a rip-off. One place charged over 40 Euros for a main dish – incredibly salty – and then added a service charge. Travelers should be cautious. The hotel's bar, however, serves good food at reasonable prices, and their pizza is excellent.
Luggage storage is a bit of a drawback; it's only available for the same day. This isn't ideal for those planning short trips to nearby areas.

The staff was kind and helpfull, and there was water and apples to grab in the lobby as a welcome. Unfortunately the bar was not always open, it closed really early in the evening.
I did not have breakfast in the hotel, as there are many nice spots to have breakfast in the city, but my room I thoroughly enjoyed!
It was quite new in it's design, yes there was some wear and tear, but it all looked clean, it all worked and it was highly comfortable.

I stayed for 5 days right next to Paris Gare de Lyon. You can tell it's an old hotel that's been renovated; the decor is decent. The room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was also good. I was satisfied with both the location and the room. I booked a month in advance for around 1200, and for this size, I think it was pretty good value for money. If you book closer to the date, the price gets much higher.
Gare de Lyon has many metro lines, so you can get to almost all attractions by subway, and there's also a direct line to Orly Airport, which is very convenient. I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel.
There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩
But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with.
They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like.
Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway.
The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant.
For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.
There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly.
It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead.
The staff here are very kind, but apart from that, I have to be honest about what really matters to me.

Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.

He is absolutely right we did save a lot of time in traffic and the train ride is scenic and convenient. The restaurant he recommended is super reasonable and delicious. The room is aircon - good for us as we cannot survive without it. Room is small for 2 person and do not have space to open 2 luggages. We were given 405 which elevator lands on level 3 only. He helped us carried our luggages to the flight of stairs.. Parking is safe in their private garage and price reasonable for 28euros per night.
