I’m not sure if Paris is just expensive in general, but… this place doesn’t really feel like a 5-star hotel.
There’s a musty, almost moldy smell in the room, and the water pressure is so low that it took me forever to take a shower. 😩
But then again, the last 5-star hotel I stayed at didn’t even have hot water, so… I guess low water pressure is something I can live with.
They did upgrade my room, but honestly… aside from being bigger, there’s not much to like.
Since it’s just the two of us, we don’t really need a larger room anyway.
The whole place — from the room itself to the building and even the elevator — feels old and a bit unpleasant.
For a 5-star hotel, it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.
There’s an InterContinental right across the street, and the staff there actually greeted guests properly.
It was around the same price, and honestly, I wish I had stayed there instead.

This was a perfect booking, and I would highly recommend it to friends visiting Paris. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few steps from the Châtelet Les Halles station exit. This station is a famous transportation hub in Paris and even globally. Whether you're coming from the airport, going to Disneyland, or Versailles, you can get there directly without changing trains. For closer attractions like Galeries Lafayette, Montmartre, and the Arc de Triomphe, or even catching an international train, the metro is easily accessible. The Louvre is only 600-700 meters away on foot, and Musée d'Orsay is just a bit further. Notre Dame is also only about 1 kilometer away. It's truly the best base for first-time visitors to Paris. The hotel service was also superb. We arrived at the hotel at 9 AM due to an early flight, and without us even asking, they proactively checked if a room was available for early check-in. When it wasn't, they explained the situation and helped us store our luggage. We explored the surroundings and were able to check in before 12 PM, which was very thoughtful. The quality of nearby restaurants is also good. The only minor drawback is that the room is small. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods, you could also order fresh omelettes and plenty of drink choice too!

Considering how expensive accommodation generally is in Paris, this hotel is a real gem. First off, the room size isn't as cramped as many others; there's still plenty of space even with a double bed. There are two small wardrobes, and they provide a generous amount of hangers, which is incredibly convenient. They offer not just bath towels but also bathrobes, which is a fantastic touch for this price point.
The most impressive feature was that my room had a balcony. From there, you could see the street below, and in the distance, you could even catch a glimpse of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. Looking north, Sacré-Cœur Basilica was also visible. On a clear day, it was absolutely beautiful. The entire room faced west, so you should be able to see the sunset, though I didn't get to experience it.
The hardware facilities are excellent. The faucets are from a famous brand. The bathroom is compact but well-equipped, even featuring a heated rack for drying clothes. We had a less than pleasant stay. We paid quite a fair bit for this hotel and so would naturally expect that the bare minimum would be fulfilled without being prompted but that was not the case. We had dirty towels and bedsheets with stains all over, the housekeeper would mess up our toothbrush placements daily so we had to keep asking for new dental kits. On one occasion we came back to find the room messily arranged as if the housekeeper was in a rush. Also bare minimum things like we had more than 2 pax in the room but there was no extra cup provided for the toothbrush or extra bedroom slippers. You would think they paid attention to such details for the price we paid and for the hotel name we were staying at.
What's more unpleasant is our encounter with their housekeeping lady who entered our room not once but TWICE. First time she barged in and forced her way into our room while we were present, and spoke French the whole time refusing to communicate with translation. Just downright rude. Then she came again a few days later (despite us being told she would not be working on our floor nor at the premises any longer), and again sooke in french and made no attempts to communicate with us at all. Just wasted our time and was rude. We saw her again on our floor the day we checked out, so I'm not sure what management was doing when they gave us their word that she would not be working on the floor.
Only good thing was location. In house restaurant was pleasant but selections were limited. Overall we felt unsafe in our room and were constantly on edge whether someone would enter our room while we were out. Not a pleasant stay.FromPLN 643

The Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again.
Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently.
Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night.
The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee.

We booked this hotel as it was ranked very high at the time on Trip Advisor (8/3000) or something like that. The hotel itself is petite , clean and has the friendliest of staff. But I do not understand why it is ranked so highly on TA. Rooms are extremely tiny, and the worst part for me was the beds are so tiny - with the bed widths AND also bed lengths being so short. I found it very difficult to fit , being a 6’2” guy, without crouching into a fetal position each night to try to get to sleep.
We were two friends and booked “twin share” but the single beds were still joined by the same base and could not be separated either. Between this and the small size of bed, it made for poor sleep at night. Other negatives were the bathroom sink was blocked, walls are thin (so you hear people talking on their phone through the walls at night) and the location: This hotel is in the 9th/10th Arrondissement and honestly it’s not the best neighbourhood, particularly at night. Next time I will pay the little bit extra and stay in the 2nd or 3rd Arr.
Hotel staff are you be commended though, they always had a smile and friendly greeting and helped so much in providing amazing restaurant suggestions and local spots to visit. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk from the back door of the Louvre. It is in the center of the city. It is the subway station No. 1 line. There are supermarkets, restaurants and drug stores nearby. It is very convenient. Service attitude is also very good. The room was small but everything was good and the breakfast was very good. With a 5-year-old doll, when I booked the room, I thought I could sleep together. There are basically children in Europe who ask for an extra bed. I can't understand it at first, but I know that the bed is about 1.5, so the extra bed will be more comfortable. Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.

It's almost a perfect hotel spa! Every detail in the spa room is captivating – a must-try!
However, the hotel as a whole felt a bit small, with not many usable public areas. The rooms were also a bit of a surprise; the layout and views were vastly different. Initially, we were assigned a poorly lit room with very little natural light, almost making us feel oppressed. But after some discussion, they changed us to a room with a small balcony, although it faced the opposite building with no view.
The infrastructure was truly well-designed, with various thoughtful details.
But honestly, for the price, it didn't feel worth it; it was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever paid for recently.
The overall service seemed enthusiastic, but you could still feel the discrimination against Asian faces. I felt inexplicably unable to relax; it was actually two uncomfortable days. The most welcoming and friendly service was at check-in, but there was no hotel tour as promised, and at check-out, we waited a long time and were almost completely ignored.
The hotel is located in the old town, and even Uber drivers said they couldn't drive in, making it difficult to carry luggage. When leaving, I inquired about using the buggy service (I had a lot of luggage) to get to the nearby La Pierre-Rousse Hotel (the small car should only take three minutes), but they explicitly stated no, only a fixed pick-up and drop-off point. The only assistance they could offer was to call a taxi (but even with my efforts, it would only take a few minutes on foot, so why would I need a taxi?).

Me and my partner got only a weekend staying. Staff is really lovely, very helpful with everything. But for me the problem was the room- too small and walls were really thin, we had a loud guests in the next room and we could hear everything, that was a bit annoying as we expected for more privacy. The shower was really good though, but there were no toilet fans in the room, so if you had a shower all the room would be humid or with some smell.
The breakfast menu was ok, the fruits salad wasn’t good, all the fruits very bitter, couldn’t eat anything. Jelly options were less then expected, but in general it offers different kind of breads and sweets boulangerie.
