Facilities: The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, with decor leaning towards a 2010s style. The walls aren't well-maintained, showing noticeable water stains and discoloration. Cleanliness: Acceptable. I didn't find any major hygiene issues. Environment: The air circulation in the room was poor. Windows could be opened, but only slightly, though it wasn't stifling. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and close to attractions like Wenshu Monastery, Qingyang Palace, and Chunxi Road. Service: I appreciate that they upgraded my room when I checked in. There were welcome fruits and snacks, but the drinks in the minibar and tea bags were all chargeable. The Chinese restaurant offers Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, which was average in taste but not expensive. Overall, there wasn't much in terms of service, but considering the low price, it's not fair to compare it to the service standards of high-end five-star chains. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

I stayed at this hotel around the same time last year. The location is excellent, no doubt about that. I remember my first stay wasn't great because during peak hours, the elevators were completely inadequate; I often had to wait several minutes for one. This year, I stayed again, and the elevator issue has been resolved – the front desk told me they installed new ones. And as always, the service was wonderfully warm. As soon as I got out of the car, staff greeted me and helped with my luggage to the front desk for check-in. The front desk's smiling service also deserves high praise, and even when I ran into staff in the elevator, they would immediately smile and greet me. Overall, while the hotel facilities are dated, their exceptional service really makes up for that shortcoming, making it still a very good experience.

Pros: Wifi was really good here with super fast connection as compared to some other hotels I have been in China. Breakfast is decent. Pool looks nice. Location is good and easy to get a taxi. Overall pretty clean. Nice to have washing machine in the room. Robot for food deliveries. Cons: We did not seem to be able to adjust the aircon temperature to our desired level and had to resort to opening the curtains and windows fully at times. Sometimes, the food delivery driver is not able to use the robot so we had to collect it downstairs ourselves. Overall: Would recommend!

Our stay at JW Marriott was fantastic! The hygiene was impeccable; both our room and the Garden were spotless, surrounded by lush greenery, and we even spotted adorable kittens, which was incredibly therapeutic. The facilities were incredibly thoughtful, with a cute panda plushie in the room, turndown chocolates, and a complimentary mini-fridge – perfect attention to detail. Breakfast coffee had exquisite latte art, the noodles were incredibly authentic, and the specialty lounge offered a fantastic selection. Special shout-outs to Guest Relations Officer Michelle and Front Desk's Nancy! Michelle provided attentive and timely assistance throughout our stay, responding to our needs promptly and thoughtfully. Nancy handled our check-in efficiently and professionally, and her smile was so uplifting. Their excellent service made our trip feel incredibly warm, and every detail and experience was flawless. An Unforgettable Stay ! True 5-Star Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu Our last two nights in Chengdu were truly the highlight of our trip !An experience that perfectly lived up to its Forbes 5-star reputation. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The doorman greeted us warmly, remembered my surname, and personally delivered our luggage to our room. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Meria, the guest relations manager. She was like our personal concierge , helping to deliver my parcels from the concierge to our room, assisting us with getting prescription medicine late at mid of night, and even sending thoughtful gifts like fresh fruit and panda bookmarks. Every detail reflected genuine care and professionalism. Staying here with my parents was an absolute joy , the comfort, warmth, and attentiveness made us feel completely at home. I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu is the pinnacle of all the hotels I’ve stayed in. Thank you, Meria, and the entire Ritz-Carlton team, for making our family trip to Chengdu such a memorable one. ❤️

The hotel's location is excellent, surrounded by popular attractions like Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, Tianfu Square, and People's Park! Downstairs, there's a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of delicious Chengdu snacks. The front desk staff are welcoming, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable! Breakfast offers a wide variety and good quality. The underground parking is convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, I'm very satisfied! A small suggestion: due to the high number of guests, breakfast can get quite crowded, sometimes making seating a bit tight, and the staff occasionally struggle to keep up with clearing tables.

The room was very clean and well-equipped, with both regular and plush slippers provided. The only minor issue was the shower faucet, which took a little getting used to at first. The mattress, duvet, and pillows were all clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well-balanced and nutritious, with a variety of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices available daily – I particularly loved the carrot and ginger juice. The location is convenient for transportation, and it's easy to hail a taxi. I only found out on the second night that there's also a direct shuttle service to major attractions in Chengdu; it would have been great if there was a card in the room providing this information.

The staff initially offered me a room upgrade for an additional 300 yuan, and I accepted. However, after entering the room, I realized it was much larger than necessary since I was traveling alone, so I decided to cancel the upgrade — the staff was very understanding about it. The breakfast was good, and the hotel is conveniently located right in the center of the walking street. There’s also a spa inside the hotel. It was quite crowded during check-in time, and it would be better if the staff helped manage the queue, as some guests were cutting in line while no staff seemed to notice or intervene.

during my trip to Chengdu I stayed for 9 days in Zenac international Hotel. The hotel location is fantastic situated in the city of Chunxi Road near Metro line 2 & 3 exit E1. From airport you could take transfer from Chengdu tianfu airport bus line 1 toward city direction alight at the junction of IFS building (under Panda 🐼 chunxi road). It’s about a 7mins walk less than 380m u can reach out the hotel. However the hotel lobby entrance is not facing the main road you can still easily excess to the hotel. The hotel signage is brightly spotted on top of the building is in chinese words so you can search to match the chinese characters. the building is just beside Adidas shop. When I checked into my room was upgraded with daily breakfast and full room amenities. The services from front desk was excellent especially 销售总监,华少 had offered to assist in solving my little issues. Daily housekeeping王玉梅 has provided an excellent services throughout my stayed. Thank to all of you.👍

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, our whole family stayed at The St. Regis Chengdu. The Deluxe Twin Room we booked was spacious and bright, with comfortable and cozy bedding. The shower also featured a sitting bath, which was very convenient for the elderly. For the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary mooncakes and fruit. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot but still conveniently close to popular areas like Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li commercial districts, Daci Temple, and the Chengdu Museum. This patio room feels especially perfect for couples – very romantic with a small, stylish patio. It's located near the inner courtyard, so it's quite quiet. I could easily spend half a day just lounging on the patio, and then head out to find some great food nearby. We're talking places like Dongzikou Zhang Lao Er, Yantaipo Guokui, Yang Boying Traditional Zajiang Mian, Jimadian, and Kanjian Hot Pot – all within walking distance! Super convenient. After eating, it's time for some shopping around the area, followed by tea to help digest. The hotel is excellent! Thumbs up! I highly recommend staying here. The staff are all very enthusiastic. I'm usually quite lazy and rarely leave reviews for hotels, but this place genuinely impressed me. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we mentioned we were tourists, they immediately offered a brochure detailing various sightseeing routes, which we found very helpful (we even snapped a photo!). As it was our first time in Chengdu, we were unsure where to eat, and they enthusiastically recommended some fantastic local eateries; the food they suggested was indeed delicious. With all the nearby *chuanchuan* (Sichuan skewers), Sichuan cuisine, and hotpot, we came back to the hotel one evening smelling distinctly of hotpot. Wanting to get some early rest, we asked the front desk if they could help dry our clothes and return them to our room the next morning. They agreed without a moment's hesitation, which was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was also delicious, especially the *chaoshou* (Sichuan wontons). The staff in the restaurant were very attentive and provided great service too. Our initial reason for booking this hotel was its geographical location, and it truly lived up to our expectations. It's perfectly situated, very close to all the major attractions such as Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Kuanzhai Alley, Wenshu Monastery, Wuhou Shrine, Jinli Ancient Street, and more. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying travel experience. Chengdu, with its vibrant city atmosphere and rich cultural environment, left a wonderful impression on us.
