Denver downtown/capitol hill Denver|0.63km from city center
I checked in Monday 8/1/22 and checked out 8/3/22. My room was a warm 80+ degrees and the AC was not working. I called the desk and there was no answer so I went back down to the desk. I told the front desk agent that the AC was not working and gave her my room number. She said she would contact maintenance. After several hours with no visit from the maintenance staff, I went to dinner and told the front desk staff that maintenance could go into my room while I was at dinner. After dinner, my room was still very warm. I reported back to the front desk and a different woman said she would have maintenance ”get right on it”. As I walked towards the elevator I realized I had not given her my room number. I went back to her and asked ”Do you know my room number?” She said ”No.” At this point, I realized none of them could care less about my AC issue. I asked her if there was another room she could switch me to with a working AC unit and she replied ”I'm not sure what rooms have working AC and what rooms don't.” So I replied ”There's nothing you can do for me?” To which she replied ”Do you want a fan?” I thought she was kidding so I called her bluff and said ”Sure.....I'll take a fan.” She walked behind the front desk and came out with a BOX FAN!! She said ”Here you go.” I was shocked and disappointed. For 2 nights, I had this ridiculous box fan running full blast trying to stay cool and sleep. It was impossible. When I check out of most hotels, they usually ask me how my stay was. Needless to say, they didn't ask me this time, because they didn't care how my stay was. Unprofessional. Poor service. Unbelievable.

My husband and I were here for a meeting. Otherwise we would not have chosen this hotel. Upon arriving the guy's computer went down after entering our name so we had to stand there for more than 30 minutes while the line behind us grew longer. The guy beside him's computer didn't have this ”glitch” so his line flowed smoothly. The next morning I thought I'd sleep in - have room service for lunch and spend the afternoon at the pool. I tried to get ahold of someone at in room dining and no one answered. I pushed every single button possible and not one person answered Not even on the EMERGENCY button? Finally called the front desk and was told that there was NO food service between the hours of 10 am til 4 pm. Their gift show (for candy bars) was closed until 4:30 pm. They had no vending machines. I was told the certain floors had ice machines. Only a slight bit of ice came out. So made it out to the pool which is not heated and was filthy. Very thin and tiny towels. Nothing going on - nothing like I had imagined. Very depressing atmosphere. As I'd said, if it weren't for the meeting, we'd stay somewhere else. Upon departing I asked that our stay be added to our Marriot points. They said they couldn't look our number up. Even by his email, etc. There was no one behind us waiting. How disappointing!!! Also, in the past it was free parking, Now it's $19 per night and you do it yourself Our room had a lovely view of the nasty rooftop of some rusty somethings...

I really enjoyed my stay here! Customer service was amazing. The hotel was very neat and clean. Breakfast was great and it comes with an amazing Mountain View. Prices were very reasonable. They do have an airport shuttle. **MAKE SURE TO RESERVE A SPOT ON THE SHUTTLE W/THE FRONT DESK** There is a diner literally right across the parking lot and the food there is okay. There are a lot of other food places nearby, but this location maybe better if you’re driving.

Nice room and lovely hotel but why do some hotels have nice balconies with not a chair anywhere to use to enjoy relaxing in the fresh air???? We pulled out a desk chair and the other oversized chair and put them out on the balcony. We chose this hotel solely because we love to sit out. Even folding chairs would have sufficed. We put the room chairs back inside before cking out but I was tempted to leave them in hopes housekeeping would alert the property for the need for chairs out there…but they have enough to do as it is. The hot tub was great! The shuttle drivers were stellar and prompt! The view from the room was lovely.

Airport shuttle is shared with a few other area hotels. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was spacious, as expected since it was a “suite” type hotel. There’s a kitchenette in the room, which had a microwave, ref, stove, sink, basic utensils, plates, mugs, drinking glasses. Separate area for the closet and bathroom. From the moment I arrived until I left, customer service was stellar. Upon check-in I was greeted warmly and quickly. I was early, so my assigned room was not ready. I was immediately placed into a comparable room. As a Diamond member I was given bottles of water, a warm cookie and some other snacks. It felt like I had been to the grocery store. Location is very convenient to downtown and public transportation. The few dollars it costs for a premium room is definitely worth it. A friend stayed here at the same time and didn't upgrade. Their room was clean but a lot more dated.

We booked 2 2 bedroom suites (2 queen, 1 king & 2 double, 1 queen). This review will be for the 2 queen 1 king suite. The room was very clean, beds were pretty good & pillows decent. You get 4 on the bed, 3 soft 1 firm. The sofa also pulls out for an additional bed which we did utilize. My assumption is it’s a typical not comfortable for an adult bed so give it to a kid which wouldn’t mind. King bathroom had a walk-in shower, queen just a regular one. Both were clean and stocked with enough towels for a 2 night stay. You would need more if you stay longer. Downside to our room was it was next to the busy road which you could hear all the traffic at night when trying to settle in for bed. It wasn’t bad but if you’re a light sleeper you may want to request a room on the opposite side of the hotel. Distance from the airport is about a 6 mile 15 minute drive. We drove from Staybridge to the rental car area which was a 4 mile 10 min drive, then a shuttle to the airport. The parking lot in front is pretty small and can be difficult to maneuver with a larger vehicle. It’s narrow and entry points are not the best location. The staff was was friendly and accommodating - helped us out with a little milk at night for the baby vs driving to a store. The lobby is small but was kept clean. Breakfast area also was clean but we did not stay long enough to eat so I can’t speak on the food. Within walking distance is a Ruby Tuesday and Tower Bar & Grill. If you drive about 2 miles you will reach a shopping center with several stores and quick eating places, along with several gas stations. We didn’t travel past that though. I would stay here again if looking for a spot in the “airport” area.

All elevators broken. Staff was apathetic about helping an elderly couple with a huge cart load of luggage get their things up to their 2nd floor room and said there were no 1st floor rooms available. Card reader at the back door (where you have to park) was broken when I left and still broken when I got back a week later. Staff actually propped it open with a rock disregarding guest complaints about the obvious security risk, not to mention the subzero weather blowing in through the open door. Front desk wouldn't even put a note on the door about the broken reader. A guest had to do it. Several other doors to the hotel are locked ”due to maintenance” so you have a long walk to get inside the hotel with your luggage. I had to go to the front desk 3 times about getting a functioning card key. That was a LOT of hiking the hotel due to the location of my room in relationship to the front desk and the stairs/lone semi-functioning elevator. My friend's key to our room never worked. Front desk listed only 1 person from my party of 3 on the shuttle reservation, and it was implied that there wouldn't be room for the other 2 because the shuttle before ours was overbooked too. On the return trip, we only waited about 10 minutes in the blowing snow for our shuttle, but another woman told us she'd already been waiting an hour. The hotel kept telling her it would be about 10 minutes. The shuttle was marked ”Embassy Suites” for some reason. Maybe that's why she missed it. Finally, if you stay there, I hope you like dogs. I personally met 7 different dogs in the hallway during my very brief stay. I'm a dog lover but some people aren't. Lots of dogs. Overall, it was a lot of hassle for what should have just been a quiet room for a few hours and a shuttle to the airport first thing in the morning.

I can see the entrance of the exhibition hall from the window of the hotel room. I will turn left and go to a traffic light. It is too convenient to walk 150 meters. The breakfast on the 4th floor is rather monotonous. The only thing you can do is to make the omelette. You can choose all kinds of ingredients, vegetables, cheese, and the waiting time is not short. The Stout Social restaurant next to the hotel is also great, with oysters, salmon and steak.

I was in town for a conference and overall had a very good stay. I was there 6 nights They told me at check in that housekeeping was every 2 days. What I found out was that you have to ask at the desk the day before to have them come. I really just need trash pick up and fresh towels. When they did come they did a great job. I had a couple little routine things that needed fixing when I first arrived. The guy came the next morning and took Care of it all. My TV in the living room area volume didn’t work right It only came on very low and sort of out of the back of the TV. It was weird. I only ate breakfast once - I am not a breakfast person- but it was the usual spread as at other Residence Inns. The beds were new and very very comfortable. There are washers and dryers. The washer is $3 in quarters but the machine holds more than my home washer. The dryer I think was $1 for 30 minutes which was plenty of time. Everything was very clean The bad part is that the recent remodeling of the Hotels by Corporate are beautiful but not practical. Instead of all drawers in the clothes chests, there are 2 drawers and a large open area but the open area is colored dark inside. It is very easy to not see an item and leave things behind. Also, the new lights are in the wrong place. The overhead light at the bathroom sink is in the middle of the area half way between the closet and the sink. Whichever way you are looking, you cast a shadow on it because of the light. There are lights in the mirror for make up but they really shine in your eyes. In the kitchen, the light is again in the middle. You cast a shadow trying to do dishes or cook. The light under the microwave over the cooktop is very dim, not useful for anything but a dim nightlight. I had a large flashlight with me that I used to cook. I only go into such detail as the corporate folks need to know. Wish I would have had a trouble light to use for cooking. The cook top is one of the glass/ ceramic type and very difficult to control temp. I am accustomed to a gas stove so that make be part of it. I had an oven in my room which was terrific and allowed me to bake as well. The dishwasher is a little loud. You might want to run it while you are gone. I had a special rate that included parking, otherwise it is $42 per day. The parking has in and out privileges which is unusual for the area. What is nice is that the parking is part of the same building. The lobby is on the first floor then the next few levels are the parking garage floors then the room care above that. The door into the anteroom for the elevate requires a hotel key. The floors with rooms requires a key as well. There is a small bar on the first floor - the bartender was very friendly and kind. They have the usual assortment of high and moderate end liquors and beer and wine. The front desk people were really terrific- kind and helpful day and evening. There is a Trader Joe’s about a mile and a half away. Fairl

I expected a lot better. The location is great for the city sights. Close to all the key areas (and it’s a good walking city). But the number of homeless people around is quite shocking and can make you feel very uncomfortable. It’s only 20 mins walk from Union St but you’ll need a taxi if you have luggage. Lyft and Uber are your friends but pricing is very variable. The reception of the hotel is non-descript and service slow if there’s a conference in the hotel. The rooms are dark. Too dark. They are also small. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms need refurbished - they are looking tired. (We stayed twice in the space of a week). Towels were thick and soft; toiletries good quality. The only restaurant is a sports bar in the basement. This is particularly disappointing for a hotel of this quality. Space, service and quality can therefore be problematic. We left one morning when service was particularly bad. There is no Exec Lounge. A major drawback and a dumbing down of the chain. Instead of lounge access we were given $15 per night to spend. This could not buy you breakfast….probably just one drink in the bar. The US chain could learn from Hilton elsewhere in the world. On second visit we arrived at 1720 and our room still wasn’t ready. However the front desk subsequently let us have a late checkout for our own departure. That all said, you’ll be able to do better at this price.

We did not receive an upgrade for our five night stay which was a bit disappointing. we were with our 9 year old grandson, so we opted for two queens which worked out pretty good. the location is a bit of a challenge and has attracted a different sort of clientele and it is not that easy to get to and from the hotel. the room was clean. the breakfast option was limited but the service we received was just fine.

We did not stay here (I gave the rating a five star just based on service). However, I spoke to Corey at the front desk at 3:00 a.m. from out of state and he was beyond helpful. My daughter is traveling across country and we had no idea where to stay. He worked with me to pull up maps, discuss which Marriott properties might be best for her truck and trailer, etc. He was honest and said their property was too far off her destination but he gave me options and was knowledgeable about the various area(s). Most importantly, he was patient with me and just tremendous.

The hotel room itself was spacious and clean and a great value for its price. The bedding was very comfortable and the staff was attentive and informative . The only issue I had which prevented a 5* rating was the difficulty we had getting yo the hotel. The free shuttle only picked up from West side of airport and there was No clear sign or directio as to how to find the shuttle stop. We asked numerous other shuttle drivers while waiting by mistake on the east side of airport and no one corrected us.

Excellent stay at the hotel. Blake at the front desk was very helpful. Hotel and rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Location was good. We chose street parking (instead of valet) since street parking is free from 6pm to 9 am. We dined at Brooklyns Finest Pizza (a short drive from the hotel) with great pizza.

The rooms are large, the place is empty, and the view is average. It is too beautiful and not bad. As long as there are many foreign places, you can look at it anyway. It's close to the airport and not remote. Clean environment and rich breakfast. Good business stay.

The room was very nice. I liked the separate living area especially since my wife and I go to bed at different times. But the air conditioning system was terrible. Not only was it difficult to get a good temperature the blowers for the bedroom were directly overhead. When it kicked in it blew cold air directly on our heads. It woke us up. So you have to keep the a/c off or deal with this error in design. In addition, the air conditioner system was located in closet right next to the tv in the living room. When it kicked in It was so loud I had to use closed captioning to avoid turning the sound up so high it would have disturbed people in nearby rooms. The staff was also somewhat lackluster for a high end property.

I booked this hotel because I was headed back home from a road trip I made out west. Denver was my stop location for the night and I booked this hotel because I needed a place to sleep. The parking is 30$ for 1 night. That’s insane for a hotel to charge your to park your car. The bed was uncomfortable I booked two queen beds one for me and my wife and one for the kids. Our best was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.

1 of out 5 I want to start by saying I am a Hilton Honers member. This experience has made me question Hilton and whether a want to align myself with such a company. I pre-paid for 3 nights. Hilton had my money for a few weeks before my arrival, earning interest or furthering their business operations. I didn’t know that to Hilton pre-paid means non-refundable. Once they’ve got your money they are not giving it back. Upon checking into my room I realized that I didn’t get a king size bed and the smelled of cigarettes. The hotel was noisy as it was filled with guests that were attending a local concert. I stayed only one out of the three nights, and requested to leave early. I called several times requesting an early checkout and received the same very rude responses that I can’t. The fact that I’m a Hilton honors member, who has stayed at many locations around the nation, and to only to receive such horrible treatment is unacceptable. I spoke with the general manager of the location who informed me to file a case and he would follow through with providing a refund was a lie! I wrote an email over a month ago and NEVER heard back from him. Finally after a month and after me sending another email, I received an email from another manager who declined my request. They were only willing to offer some points which wouldn’t even cover 1 night. The fact that Hilton doesn’t value loyalty or is capable of providing semi-decent customer service is a clear indicator of a poor managed company. You’ve lost a valuable customer who will NEVER stay at your hotel again. I will also make it a point to ensure my family and friends don’t give you any business.
