"This hotel offers a standardized, industrialized experience, which I found to be excellent. The shared showers and restrooms, serving four rooms, were continuously cleaned by staff, which was also great. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the North Station train/bus station, and also a 20-minute walk from Boston Common/the start of the Freedom Trail. Chinatown is a 10-minute walk away. To get to Harvard University, it's a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste when staying at hotels in the US. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"I spent Christmas and New Year's at this hotel. I spent some time and effort finding a suitable hotel beforehand, but it was definitely worth it. It was not only clean and tidy, but also incredibly cost-effective. First, let's talk about the location. For tourism, Boston's area isn't very large, so the most important thing when choosing a hotel is considering both price and transportation convenience. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel (the photo was taken from across the street; the dark-roofed building behind the tram stop is the hotel). To the left of the hotel is the Kenmore subway station, which connects the Green, B, C, and D lines (you can see it marked ”Green line - all lines” in the photo). It's very convenient to get to attractions, the airport, and Chinatown. Even Newbury Street is only about 1 kilometer away. There aren't any large supermarkets nearby, but there's a 7-Eleven next door with fruit, bread, sandwiches, instant noodles, etc., which is sufficient for basic needs. While there aren't many restaurants nearby, if you're craving lobster rolls, there's supposedly the popular Row34 right next to the hotel (unfortunately, it was closed for the holidays). Across the street is a Japanese restaurant called Nagomi Izakaya; I once got $18 worth of salmon fried rice to take back to the hotel – it was piping hot and delicious. Now, let's talk about the essentials for Chinese travelers. Want hot water? There's an electric kettle in the room. Need free drinking water? Two bottles of water are provided upon check-in (the bottles are lightweight stainless steel and even marked as the official hotel of the Boston Red Sox). The hotel lobby offers free drinking water, coffee, sparkling water, and tea, including tea bags and paper cups, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, which you can take back to your room. Want to reheat food from the refrigerator? You can request a microwave in your room upon check-in, and even toothbrushes can be provided (toothpaste and slippers are not available). Crucially, all of these are free! Also, the room is huge; we had two suitcases fully extended without any problem moving around. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Hot water was plentiful, and the drainage was excellent. The room photos on Ctrip were exactly what you'd expect. There was one minor flaw in the facilities: the shower was overhead, and the glass door lacked a sealing strip. A little water from the showerhead would spill slightly through the gaps, but not excessively. We solved this by covering the showerhead with a lightweight, compressed disposable face towel we brought, allowing the water to pool. Now, let's talk about the key hotel service. Before our trip, we emailed Stephanie to confirm various details, and she responded very quickly, thoughtfully noting all our check-in requirements. On check-in day, we were greeted at the front desk by a tall, handsome young man named Kelvin, who was very friendly. He gave us Christmas chocolates and cookies and even reminded us that we could refill our water in the lobby the next morning. The day before we left, Boston was swept by strong winds. The weather forecast predicted -6°C, but it felt like -16°C 🥶. Boston winter combined with strong winds made walking on the streets truly chilly. Since our return flight was in the evening, and hotel check-out was at noon, and it was too cold to go outside, we tried to apply for a free late check-out at the front desk. After hearing our flight time, the lovely, chubby male receptionist immediately extended our check-out to 2 PM, explaining that it would have been charged if we had stayed until 3 PM. Encountering such a hotel and service while traveling was incredibly pleasant, and I highly recommend it! Finally, let me share my impressions of the city. From a tourist's perspective, aside from the extremely cold winter weather, Boston is truly a wonderful city. Its beauty stems not only from its renowned universities and academic atmosphere, but also from the cleanliness and orderliness you feel even when you walk along the city's first subway line, which dates back to 1897. When you enter the century-old Museum of Fine Arts and see large Chinese characters and maps in various languages, including Chinese, on the visitor center wall, you can feel the city's pride and warmth. When you can stroll through the century-old streets and buildings while sipping bubble tea, you can experience the wonderful fusion of history and modernity. In Boston's winter, it gets dark before 5 pm, and after you've had your fill of sightseeing, shopping, and dining, you can feel the friendliness and sense of security the city offers to travelers on your way home or in the car."

"I had the pleasure of staying at this brand new hotel, and it truly exceeded expectations. The facility is modern and spotless, but the real highlight is the staff—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. When I struggled with the coffee machine in my room, someone was there in minutes to guide me through it with a smile. A special shout-out to Erin, who went above and beyond. Not only did she surprise me for my birthday (such a thoughtful touch!), but she also gave me fantastic local tips and advice. Thanks to her, I discovered Ruka—an amazing restaurant I highly recommend. She also helped me plan my first walk around Harvard Campus, which was a highlight of my trip. The location is perfect, right next to Harvard Business School with a lovely view. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers warmth, efficiency, and a great setting. "citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much."

The room isn't huge, but with two 150cm beds, it's manageable for a family with kids if you don't mind snuggling. The mattress was incredibly soft; surprisingly, I usually get back pain at home but slept on this soft bed for three nights with no issues. There's a Starbucks drip coffee maker in the room, and another Starbucks next to the front desk on the second floor. Bar10, also on the second floor, serves good food. The hotel connects to two malls, which is fantastic in the cold winter as you don't have to go outside to find food. The cleanliness was impeccable, it looked like it had just been renovated. The shower had both an overhead rain shower and a handheld option; even though it was in a tub, the water pressure was excellent. Facing north, we had an unobstructed view of the river and MIT across the way. Boston truly is a beautiful city, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

An excellent new hotel. The rooms are small, but very comfortable! A comfortable large bed right by the window with a city view (at check-in, you can choose a low or high floor and whether or not to have a city view). Check-in is easy. The shower and all the plumbing are new, everything is superb. Modern TV. The lighting, air conditioning, TV, etc. are controlled from a tablet, which is also very convenient. There are two types of curtains: blackout and sun protection. The area is convenient – you can quickly reach Cambridge, and Downtown is a 15-minute walk away. , the Freedom Trail is also nearby. The hotel is located in the bus station building, but there are few people around, so it doesn't feel like a neighbor. However, there is a large food court nearby, a huge supermarket with a huge selection of everything, including alcohol and prepared foods. Also across the street is Little Italy, with many delicious restaurants and bars. Overall, we are very glad we chose this hotel.

A stylish, industrial-themed hotel with a perfect location! It's close to famous breakfast spots and a lobster chain. Two subway stations are practically on its doorstep, and Boston Common is also nearby. Truly close to everything! The room didn't have a coffee maker or kettle, and the shower pressure was quite low. My room key had some vouchers tucked inside, but the front desk didn't offer any information about the hotel's facilities beyond collecting the deposit and handing over the key card – not a single word. However, the cleaning staff and other employees were all very friendly.

This Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude. There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation. In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

The hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality. However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests. During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided. What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages: 1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation, 2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and 3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification. A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage. Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant. We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled. Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay. We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience

My stay at the Boston Copley Place Marriott in a River View King Room was a terrible experience. I arrived late at night and, after checking in, was assigned a room right next to the elevator. Throughout the night, the elevator frequently started and stopped, creating a constant and noticeable buzzing vibration and operational noise. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and the incessant noise made it impossible to get any restful sleep, severely impacting my rest quality. The front desk clearly thought I was an easy target, putting me in such a subpar room despite the price I paid. The room assignment was completely unreasonable and showed no consideration for guest comfort. My overall stay was unpleasant, and this experience was just as disappointing as my last one. I advise friends to always request a room far away from the hotel elevators, or else the staff will take advantage of you.

The hotel is clean and in a great location. Unfortunately the rooms are far too small. I understand that there is a Japanese compact theme going on for the rooms but it would be useful to potential guests for this to be clearly spelt out in the booking information. There is no room for two suitcases and very limited space to put clothing. The bed becomes the settee and vice versa. When the bed is down it is very cramped and difficult to navigate around it because the suitcases are on the floor. The US is known for big rooms, big beds, and big servings of food. You would not expect to find such small rooms in a U.S. hotel.
