GGuest UserA Tuscan escape, private villa style experience, great service, very attentive and extremely pleasant staff, great breakfast, lunch and dinner, beautiful pool, landscape, views of hills and city of Florence. Need a car to be able to go anywhere, or be willing to be a bit adventurous and take a public bus that stops nearby on the highway and requires a bus change to go to Florence, but on the way back goes directly to the resort from Florence (you need to learn the name of your stop and tell the bus driver to stop there, as busses only stop if they see people waiting at the stop or if a ypassenger requires it). The busses run every 20-30 min according to the time schedule (you will be given it) and take about 10-15 min to get to and from Piazza dela Liberta in Florence (look it up on Google map). Taxis are always available, will cost about €30 per trip (10-15 min ride). Remember, this is a villa style resort outside of Florence. It was beautiful, we loved it.

XXDLiuFacilities: The room is not big, but very comfortable. The hotel building has nothing to do with Brooks. The interior design is very comfortable. The hotel has two restaurants, Michelin 2 stars! I ordered a dish that was really good. Hygiene: clean Environment: convenient. In the old center of Florence, 5 minutes between the Dome and the Town Hall. 15 minutes walk to the train station. Also relatively quiet.

GGuest UserIt's not far from the train station, and the location is good. The room was quite clean. There are no staff working here, so check-in is self-service. The signal reception is slow, the procedures are complicated, and it needs to be done online. Because a city fee was required for check-in, they sent me a link via email asking me to enter my personal information. I paid via PayPal using my credit card information. After the trip, I discovered that my credit card had been fraudulently used. This was the only time I used this credit card to pay by entering my information during the entire trip. While it's unclear how my information was leaked, or It may also be leaked through some free WiFi networks. I urge everyone to be careful when making payments. Use more secure payment methods.

GGuest UserHad an amazing 6 night stay at The Hoxton. A great location, only 10 mins walk out of the tourist area, the bed was comfy, shower was amazing and those bath towels - so warm and fluffy! Highlights included - 1. The breakfast which included a choice of eggs and sides and a buffet of continental meats, bagels, croissants, fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cakes, juices and of course coffee. Although the buffet offering is not huge, I thought everything was well curated, high quality, held its place (pictured - the poached eggs with the works) and every morning seeing Francesco's friendly face was amazing. 2. Front desk/reservation service and help - every request was answered quickly and efficiently with a fast checkin/checkout. thanks for answering all my questions Virginia. The thing I didn't enjoy so much was the Trofie pesto pasta at Alassio - a bit bland and the pesto didn't quite hit the spot for me.

YYoshiharuI made a wonderful memory. Good point. The location is great. The staff was also kind and nice stay. The antique furniture and decoration are wonderful. I'm sorry. There is no refrigerator. There are about 10 steps from the entrance to the elevator entrance.

GGuest UserPros: great location, just a few steps from a few must see of the city. Cons:the noise of morning workers cleaning or making deliveries in the morning (7-8am) and tourist making their way through the alleys and streets to or from hotels, bar, etc. will carry to tour room... maybe disrupting your sleep. Also, if you're going to arrive after the reception closes it can get tricky or stressful as you have to reach out an on-call reception person (in my case it took 3 dials in to hear from them, I got delayed 20min. on the road and the person left and have to call again). The lock of my room and for the constant slamming of doors rooms seem to be a bit tricky to operate. Finally, the safe in my room was looked at my arrival, so I couldn't use it. Not the best value and wouldn't recommend it.

AAoliweierfengzhijinglingExceeded all expectations! I thought a hotel in an old building would be run-down, but the room was beautifully renovated. It was small but had everything you needed and was very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She let us check in early as soon as a room was available, and answered all our questions throughout our stay. The breakfast room offers stunning views of Florence, with the cathedral dome and swifts that have migrated back from Africa after winter flying by the window.

DDoudougoudoudouI stayed at two hotels in Florence, and this one was a standard, convenient hotel. However, the room was too small, and the breakfast was very mediocre. I'd recommend the other guesthouse more, comparatively. Both are within a five-minute walk from the train station. The pros are the excellent location, right next to a small square opposite the train station, so I never felt unsafe coming back late. It's also very close to all the attractions; just turn right out of the door and walk down the alley to find the Central Market and the Duomo. There's even a Chinese restaurant and a bubble tea shop downstairs.

KKseniaThe room is dingy and uninviting. There's mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed isn't a double bed; it's single beds of varying firmness pushed together. It's completely uncomfortable to sleep. The reception staff was friendly and they packed a to-go breakfast for our early checkout. The sights are a 15-minute tram ride away, and the tram stop is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
