Emerson College (Emerson College) was founded in 1880 in Boston, USA. It was a small school for public speaking and debate professors. Emerson College has long enjoyed a reputation for professional leadership. Emerson College is the only media-focused institution in the United States. In 1980, Emerson College became the first school in the United States to offer writing and publishing studies. In 1991, Emerson College first offered children's drama courses and became one of the first to award degrees in drama, art, speech debate, mass communication and journalism. It is also the first school in New England to set up an FM education station and a television broadcasting studio. Emerson College is the only comprehensive college in the United States dedicated to the exchange of information in the arts and humanities. The school offers arts and information media degree programs accredited by the New England Association of Institutions.
