Haixin Mountain is an island in the center of Qinghai Lake, China's largest saltwater lake. The island is not developed for tourism. There are several nuns and practitioners on the island, and there are no hotels, shops, restaurants. To go to Haixinshan Island, you can basically only wait for winter to freeze and walk or drive to the island. From the sand island, bird island or Jiangxi ditch, you can start from any of these three points. You can walk about 30 kilometers to Haixinshan Island. Pure crispness is an adventure route (crossing the ice is very dangerous, Do not wear ice claws to avoid breaking the ice). Since in winter, many public transportation around Qinghai Lake is gone, it will be very troublesome to go to the shore of Qinghai Lake, and generally only chartered with locals. The island lacks fresh water, and the only well can only pump water with lower salt content, barely able to survive. Materials are also very scarce, the only electricity comes from simple solar installations. The island is dominated by grass and there are some yaks. Yak manure can be used as fuel. The buildings on the island have lotus flowers, and a 30-meter-high golden lotus peanut statue. There are many legends and miracles on Haixinshan Island. Previously, the nuns and practitioners on the island each winter and other lakes freeze and cross Qinghai Lake to reach the shore, prepare for 1 year of supplies and return to the island, and no longer leave the island within a year.
