Jialing River Review

When I came to Chongqing, I had an itinerary arranged to take a cruise. I personally felt that it was very worthwhile. I not only admired the beauty of the Jialing River, but also stood on the deck, blowing the oncoming wind, and looking at the scenery. It was a pleasant choice.

The main tributaries are: Badu River, Xihan Water, Bailong River, Qujiang River, Lijiang River, etc. The total length of the 1345 km dry flow basin area 3.92 10,000 square kilometers, the basin area of 160,000 square kilometers is the largest basin area in the tributary of the Yangtze River, the length is second only to the Yaqi River, and the flow is second only to the big river of the Lijiang River.

Chongqing is a city full of charm, Jialing River downstream, created the unique charm of the city, attracted countless tourists, people lingering, refreshing, Chongqing is worth a visit.

Jialing is a main water artery of Chongqing which brought both fertile soil for local farmers and economic flourishing to this city by connecting it with other important trade hubs of China mainland. It is always a pleasure to take a walk alongside the river bank at night.

The Chaotianmen Pier at the intersection of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River is the largest water pier in Chongqing. The riverside pier here is densely populated with pedestrians like ants, prosperous business and traffic. It is still the most prosperous commercial wholesale and retail area in the city.

The Jialing River is a tributary of the Yangtze River, originating in Shaanxi, flowing through Sichuan and other places, to Chongqing to the Yangtze River. The Jialing River in Chongqing is called "Lishui" in ancient times, and the short name of Chongqing "Lishui" comes from this. The Jialing River flows through Hechuan District, Beipei District, Yubei District, Jiangbei District, and finally into the Yangtze River in Chaotianmen, Yuzhong District. In many attractions in Chongqing, you can see the company of the Jialing River. The clear and gentle Jialing River adds a lot to Chongqing.
