Jiaojiang Museum Review

This is next to the south gate of Haimen Old Street. It simply introduces the history of Jiaojiang. The whole museum is relatively small. I don’t feel 10 exhibition halls. Finally, there is a introduction to the information of Yijiangshan Island. If you come to Haimen Old Street, you can go and see it. It is also a free attraction.

After visiting Haimen Old Street, I saw a museum on the side from one end, so I went in and saw it. It was free of tickets and pure free visits. It has been open for about 3 years. The temporary exhibition hall on the first floor will be updated from time to time to introduce domestic and foreign boutique exhibitions. The second floor is the Taizhou History and Culture Exhibition Hall of "Mountain Soul and Sea", and look at the history of ancient and modern culture. The third floor is the Taizhou Folklore Exhibition Hall under the vision of humanistic history. The fourth floor is the special exhibition hall of folk collection. According to statistics, there are more than 2,500 pieces in the collection, including bronzes, ceramics, portraits, stone carvings, wood carvings and so on. I was impressed with the ivory exhibits, because in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the orderly cessation of commercial processing and sales of ivory and products activities", the processing and sales of ivory and products activities will be completely stopped from January 1, 2018. The ivory transaction will be completely prohibited. The items on the exhibition are the part that was inspected. It is said that more than 6 million ivory smugglers are worth it. Anyway, they passed by and checked and punched a card.

Many things inside are things that were children, and children don't know them now.

This is the Jiaojiang District Museum. On the side of Haimen Old Street, the museum is not very big. It mainly introduces the origin of Jiaojiang and some porcelain, calligraphy and painting. No tickets are required. The exhibits inside can be seen to improve their knowledge. It feels not as good as Taizhou Museum.

The museum is good, see a lot of contemporary history and humanities, tourism, in addition to watching the scenery to take pictures, but also should deepen the local culture to understand its past.
