Notre Dame Cathedral Review

Ѕаіgоn Νоtrе Dаmе Саthеdrаl, buіlt іn thе lаtе 1880s bу Frеnсh соlоnіsts, іs оnе оf thе fеw rеmаіnіng strоnghоlds оf Саthоlісіsm іn thе lаrgеlу Вuddhіst Vіеtnаm. Lосаtеd іn Раrіs Ѕquаrе, thе nаmе Νоtrе Dаmе wаs gіvеn аftеr thе іnstаllаtіоn оf thе stаtuе ‘Реасеful Νоtrе Dаmе’ іn 1959.

What a beautiful cathedral! The area around this cathedral is also very nice, it's like being in a European city!!

Love this cathedral! It looks literally like the on in Paris but it is smaller. Ho Chi Minh City Notre Dame is not impressive from the inside but looks amazing from the outside. It has different design than all the other buildings, so you don't have to be an architecture lover to tell that it was built by colonizers not Viets.

This 19th-century cathedral was built by French colonists and is a popular spot for tourists, as it's just across the road from The Central Post Office. Look out for the lovely statue of the Virgin Mary in the park just outside.

Such a beautiful landmark, is the Notre Dame Cathedral. In fact, the cathedral is so iconic, we took photos here as part of our wedding engagement photos! I love how the European architecture stands in stark contrast to the city of Asian influences, like it's on an island of its own! A must-see for any tourist!
