Qian Xuesen is a distinguished scientist at home and abroad and the founder of China's space industry, one of the two-star medal winners of China's two-player and one-star medal. Qian Xuesen's father, Qian Junfu, is a Hangzhou native and served as the principal of Zhejiang Provincial First Middle School (now Hangzhou Fourth Middle School). Zhang Lanxue, the daughter of a wealthy businessman in Hangzhou, was born in Shanghai, but lived in Hangzhou until the age of 3. In 1929, Qian Xuesen admitted to Jiaotong University (now Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi'an Jiaotong University) Department of Mechanical Engineering. He spent every winter and summer vacation in Hangzhou. During the university, he returned to Hangzhou to raise a disease for a year due to typhoid fever. In 1935, when he graduated from the university, he practiced at Hangzhou Aircraft Manufacturing Factory for a period of time. In 1935, studying in the United States, on October 8, 1955, Qian Xuesen and his wife and children broke through the resistance to return to their motherland from the United States. In mid-October, a family of 4 returned to Hangzhou from Shanghai to take their children to find roots and visit the West Lake, but they have not returned to their hometown since. Qian Xuesen's former residence is a three-entry residence connected by two patios. There is also a back garden. The house is a wooden structure, the main color is old red, and the name "Qian Xuesen" is still registered in the column of its owners.
