Located in Banff National Park, 56 km west of Banff Town, Lake Louis is Banff's most famous lake. Because the lake contains minerals flowing from the glacier, the sun is clear blue-green, as magnificent as sapphire, known as the "sapphire of the Rocky Mountains". It takes more than an hour to drive from Banff Town to Lake Louis. Generally, summer is the most beautiful season of Lake Louis. The lake is bright and blue and clear. You can also boat in the lake. Unfortunately, we went to the beginning of October. The snow was flying, but Lake Louis under the snow scene also had a special feature. The Fairmont Hotel by the lake is also covered with snow.
