Leifeng Tower, beautifully shaped, stands on Leifeng Mountain on the west Hunan bank of Hangzhou, one of the famous West Lake ten scenes, "Leifeng Xizhao" is here. Leifeng Tower was built in 977 AD, and was built by Wu Yuezhong-Wang Qian-in to worship Buddha snails and hairs, and another said that it was built to celebrate the pampered princess Huang's son, so it was named "Huangfei Tower". Later, because the peak of the tower is called "Leifeng", it is gradually called "Leifeng Tower", and it is passed on to the world by this name. Leifeng Tower is so famous from the Chinese folk story "White Snake Legend", Bai Niangzi to save Xu Xian was Fahai Town under Leifeng Tower... Leifeng Tower collapsed in 1924, and was rebuilt. The newly built Leifeng Tower is China's first colored bronze sculpture pagoda. "Leifeng Xizhao" recreates the shore of West Hunan. Leifeng Tower Scenic Area contains the waterfront, green space and buildings of the West Lake around Leifeng Tower. You can buy tickets to enter the tower. There are reservations at the archaeological excavation site for visiting and understanding. You can also climb the tower to overlook the lake and mountains.
