The Shenyang Palace Museum, located in the center of the old Ming and Qing Dynasties in Shenhe District of Shenyang City, was the Shenyang (Shengjing) Imperial Palace before the entry of the late Jin Dynasty and the Shengjing (or Tianhang Palace) after the Qing Dynasty moved its capital to Beijing. It was built in 1625 and was first built in 1636.
