Tashikurgan Tajik Autonomous County (referred to as Taxian County) is a county under the jurisdiction of Kashgar, Xinjiang, founded in 1954. Tashkurgan, in Uighur meaning "stone city", is named because there are ancient stone castles in the north of the city. National Geographic once used four sentences to summarize Taxian: "one county to three countries". Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan are the three countries bordering the country. With the world's highest-altitude international road - China-Pakistan friendship kilometers of the whole line, a mysterious ancient city on the plateau is also slowly entering people's sight. It lies across the Kunlun Mountain vein, vacating the distance like a dragon lying in the mountains, watching the sacred mountain of the western motherland. Taxian County is a neatly planned emerging tourist city, with the ancient Silk Road western fortress Shitou City ruins, beautiful natural golden grass beach, surrounded by snowy mountains, the highest altitude red Qilafu gate, and more brave, kind, beautiful and handsome Tajik people.
