Qufu Confucius Temple (also known as Yuli to Sheng Temple) is located 300 meters west of the Drum Tower in Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province, and is a temple of Confucius, a famous thinker and educator in ancient China. It is a world cultural heritage, a key cultural relics protection unit in the country, and a national 5A-level scenic spot, and the Beijing Forbidden City and Chengde Mountain Resort are listed as the three major ancient buildings in China; and Nanjing Confucius Temple, Beijing Confucius Temple and Jilin Confucian Temple are also called the four major Confucian Temples in China. The Confucian Temple was built in Lu Aigong in 17 years (478 BC), and the existing buildings were mostly completed in the Ming and Qing generations. It covers an area of 327 mu, nine front and back into the courtyard, the temple has halls, Tan Pavilion and Menfang, etc. 464, surrounded by red walls, four corners with corner buildings, is a group of oriental architectural characteristics, large scale, majestic ancient buildings, by architect Liang Sicheng called the history of world architecture "Orphan case".
