Travel Guide for Guangzhou Zoo in May (Updated 2024)

This is a post to share some of my favorite spot in Guang Zhou. I travel to GuangZhou from Singapore. During this trip, I spent about 5days and 4 nights to explore the city. Upon arrival, I went to explore Lu Yun Tea House. I was amazed by the variety items on the menu. They served very good dimsum and dessert. I had many of their dimsum and my favorite is “虾饺”. As for dessert, I would definitely recommend you to try their mango sago dessert 💯 So so good 😂 It was so good until I ordered one more for takeaway 🤣 Lu Yun Tea House 📍China, 17, Liuyunyi St, 17号CN 广东省 广州市 天河区 体育西路2楼文昌楼 邮政编码: 510620 We also visited the most famous Dafo Temple (Guangzhou). They open from 08:00- 22:00 everyday.I would recommend you to visit the temple during the night, around 19:00- 22:00 as they will switch on all the lights around and make the temple even more beautiful 😍 The temple is easily accessible by train and I really recommend you to visit this spot if you’re around in Guang Zhou. Worth to visit! Dafo Temple (Guangzhou) 📍Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, China, 510115 Another place that I would recommend to visit will be, Guang Zhou Zoo. I always love to visit zoo whenever I travel to different countries. The ticket for Guangzhou zoo is very cheap and we bought the ticket on spot. We were amazed by the zoo as there are many different types of animals. I wouldn’t recommend you to visit during the weekend as the crowd is crazy! If we were given a chance to visit again, we will definitely arrange the visit on weekdays 🥹 But overall, we are still very satisfied and happy. Shixiang Garden in Guangzhou, a niche garden suitable for one person to wander and daze. Shixiang Garden is known as the 'cradle of Lingnan painting school' Compared to more popular gardens, I prefer this quiet garden with fewer people Without too much decoration, and without grandeur, but also simple and just right Small houses and corridors, stone benches and tables, small bonsai add scenery, wall stone paintings are exquisite and skillful Come here to feel the quiet cultural and bookish atmosphere! Navigation: Shixiang Garden Memorial Hall Transportation: Walk about 700 meters from Exit C2 of Changgang Station on Metro Line 2 or Line 8 Tickets: Free and no reservation required Tips The park is not large, it is recommended to play for 1 to 2 hours. It is also close to Jiangnanxi Metro, there are many places to eat, and there is also Xiaogang Park nearby which is worth visiting

If you want to see pandas, get up early and go early, otherwise you'll be queuing until you doubt your life 🦒Giraffe: For 20 yuan, you can have a bunch of grass to enjoy the joy of close feeding and taking pictures (10:00-12:00, 14:00-16:30) 🉑️Bring mosquito repellent, sun umbrella, hat, mineral water, small snacks (water and food in the park are relatively expensive) Hope all the kids have fun.
