Mount Tai Tickets & Visiting Guide

Mount Tai (Taishan) is the “King of China’s Five Sacred Mountains” and a symbol of Chinese culture. Sitting in Taian City, Shandong Province, this UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site (since 1987) has been visited by 72 emperors for over 2,000 years, who held “Fengshan” ceremonies to pray for national peace. At 1,545 meters tall (Jade Emperor Peak is the summit), it’s not the highest mountain, but its mix of natural beauty (rock formations, waterfalls, forests) and cultural relics (ancient temples, stone inscriptions) makes it unforgettable.
