The concierge was very helpful with our luggage. The staff we met in the hallways were also very friendly and greeted us warmly. They have freshly ground coffee for both breakfast and afternoon tea. The hotel doesn't require a deposit, and check-out was super quick. The location is absolutely fantastic (YYDS)! It's really close to all the popular tourist spots and attractions. The hotel environment is also great. Thumbs up!

This hotel, over a century old, boasts a rich historical ambiance with its Tsarist Russian court design. The lobby is resplendent and dazzling, featuring crystal chandeliers, oil paintings, wine cabinets, and an ornate wrought-iron garden, all showcasing the luxury of the Russian aristocracy. I even donned a 19th-century outfit to experience what it felt like to be a Countess. The hotel service was impeccable. Upon check-in, someone immediately guided us on a tour and provided explanations, including a ride in the century-old elevator. Our luggage was delivered directly to our room, and they were incredibly accommodating, helping us take photos in the court costumes without any hesitation. When we checked out, they even brought our bags to the car – truly doorstep service, highly commendable! This is a highly recommended hotel that is well worth experiencing.

All-day soft drinks and snacks buffet for two: Didn't get to use it. Renovations started at 5:30 PM. Light meal starting at 5 PM. Happy Hour exquisite light meal buffet for two: It was pretty good, the service staff were genuinely excellent and attentive. They were always on the lookout for guests' needs. Service: All the service staff were very thoughtful. Housekeeping even did a simple room setup for us. I'm very grateful for their attentive help. The housekeeping department and the two dignified and elegant ladies on the 15th floor provided a lot of thoughtful assistance, for which I am very thankful. The room they arranged also had a great view. Very satisfied with the service. Facilities: It's a family-friendly hotel, but none of the kids' facilities were available. I originally brought my child precisely because I wanted them to have a place to go. Turns out, none of it was accessible. I was looking for an executive lounge so adults could work, but it was also unavailable/closed. If I had known, I would have just booked a family room. The service was great. It's just a shame so many things weren't available for use.

Staying at New Paris Hotel was a perfect experience [strong]! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by a subway station, making it super convenient to get to Central Street, nearby shopping areas, and really, anywhere you want to go 🚗. The hotel's decor is European retro, giving off a grand and elegant vibe, and the crystal chandeliers in the lobby create an amazing atmosphere [sun]. Our room was clean and spacious. The buffet restaurant had a rich variety of options, from barbecue and seafood to crayfish – it felt like a feast 🦞. Plus, there were plenty of desserts, all fresh and delicious, and the dining environment was very comfortable 🍰. The service was thoughtful and attentive. It truly was a one-stop, worry-free experience for travel, dining, and accommodation. This is definitely my top choice for staying in Harbin!

Honestly, I'm a bit reluctant to give a good review because the Executive Lounge here is just so subpar right now. And the loud noise in the morning was really annoying, though the duty manager did apologize and offered juice, a small gift, and a cute little tiger plushie, so I guess I'll let it go. Maybe it's the off-season, or they're cutting costs and boosting efficiency. But frankly, the Executive Lounge in Shenyang, also in the Northeast, was much better. I hope Harbin can really step up its game.

A hotel with great character! It's only a 2-minute walk from Central Avenue, so the location is superb! It's clean and hygienic. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient! Whether you eat downstairs or order takeout, it's easy. There's no separate shower area, only a bathtub, which might be inconvenient for elderly people with mobility issues. It would be even better if they didn't use Ice Dew bottled water 😃. Breakfast is the same every day!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the middle of Central Street, Harbin Station, and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There's also the St. Iver Church right next to the train station, which is another great spot to visit. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and insightful, anticipating my needs and providing helpful assistance. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. I also appreciated the hotel's thoughtful little decorative touches. I would definitely choose to stay here again! 😎

Let's start with the positives: The room was very clean, so no worries about hygiene. The environment is nice, and it's convenient for getting around. The facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable. Now for the negatives: Most of the front desk staff were polite, but there was a lack of thoughtful consideration when assigning rooms. I was traveling alone with a very large suitcase and had booked a king-size bed room. The front desk asked if I was checking in alone, and I confirmed. However, upon entering the room, I found there was hardly any space to open and lay out my suitcase. I eventually had to prop it up against the bathroom door, which made getting in and out of the bathroom very difficult. When I called to request a larger room, I was bluntly told that the room I booked was this size. I was quite surprised; did they think I hadn't stayed in many hotels before, or did they genuinely not have any other rooms available? I hope the hotel provides better training in this regard, as communicating with guests like that is sure to lead to more complaints.

I brought my mother to Harbin for a trip, and I carefully chose this hotel near Central Street. Throughout our stay, what impressed us most wasn't just the excellent location, but the incredibly attentive service from every single staff member. It truly deserves a lengthy, glowing review. The hotel's location is impeccable. Just a few steps out the door, and you're on the cobblestone streets of Central Street. A ten-minute walk takes you to the Flood Control Memorial Tower by the Songhua River, making it super convenient for exploring the old street and enjoying the river views. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which saved a lot of hassle from traveling around with an elder. The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a peaceful rest after a long journey. But what truly warmed our hearts was the service attitude of the entire staff. As soon as we arrived at the entrance with my elderly mother and our luggage, the doorman quickly came over to help us with our larger bags and escorted us all the way to the front desk – it was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk receptionist was warm and friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The cleaning staff were always quiet and gentle when cleaning, as if afraid of disturbing our rest. From the front desk to security and housekeeping, every single staff member was genuinely friendly and sincere, showing real care rather than just robotic pleasantries. You can find excellent locations anywhere, but such meticulous and heartwarming service is truly rare. When traveling with elderly family members, a comfortable stay and attentive care make the trip so much more enjoyable. Next time I visit Harbin, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I sincerely recommend it to all travelers with families!

I came to Harbin with friends and chose this hotel. The price was reasonable and the front desk service was good; they patiently answered all my questions. The only downside is that the entrance is a bit hard to spot. This hotel is very popular, so reservations are necessary. There are shopping malls and various restaurants downstairs, making it a paradise for food lovers. It's not far from the Northeast Tiger Park and Sun Island Polar Aquarium, and ride-hailing services are very convenient. We stayed on the 22nd floor, and the staff were very welcoming, promptly cleaning our room. Their smiles were very helpful! A very pleasant stay; Harbin is great!

This stay far exceeded my expectations! It's definitely the go-to river-view hotel when you're in the area. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed, front-row view of the river. During the day, you can lie in bed and watch boats gently pass by, the shimmering water is incredibly therapeutic. As night falls, the city lights on both banks reflect on the river, creating a stunning and romantic scene. You get to enjoy a gorgeous night view without even leaving the hotel, and every photo you take turns out amazing.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The room had great natural light and was spotlessly clean, creating a very comfortable living environment. When it was almost time to check out, my plans were delayed, so I tried to request a late check-out. The front desk staff were very friendly and quickly arranged it for me, which saved a lot of hassle. The service was thoughtful and attentive. This is definitely a hotel I'll return to again and again!

Harbin Central Avenue/Saint Sophia Cathedral/The Memorial Tower of Fig Harbin|3.1km from city center
This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.
