We had a great stay! It was very convenient and perfect for our family. There were plenty of places nearby to shop and eat, all within easy walking distance. The parking was also convenient, which made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

They have 3 queen beds and 1 super single bed with 3 room. I stay with 9 of my family members and all good. Kitchen working really well and dining table and kitchen bar enough for all of us to eat. They also have smart tv to watch movie with families.

Theres a shopping centre next to mall. Many eateries opposite, and more variety of local food. Theres also their local market 10mins away. Police station is right next to it. Felt safe for a solo traveller.

We had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to. Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching. The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was having dinner at the Puteri Lounge. I enjoyed the braised beef short ribs served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The beef was tender, flavorful, and very satisfying. I also had a hot cup of coffee, which was the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, it was a relaxing stay with good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching. Highly recommended! 😊

Hotel crew not very attentive rather just toooo slow. House keeper throw my skin care & body lotion (sachets) that kept inside the washroom. Burnt roti canai served in breakfast. Despite multiple times of complaint, no solution were given. Prepay online and no approval granted for early check out. I've to bare it 2 nights. Hardly any sleep. I ended up getting myself ear plug. Not a pleasant stay. Location, cleanliness and generally ok. Ways to improve

This is an older, established hotel located in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak in East Malaysia, right on the waterfront of the Kuching River. It's surrounded by several other star-rated hotels, including three international chain hotels. I had a layover in Singapore and arrived in Kuching at night, so I booked this hotel for one night as a stopover. While the hotel is a bit old, the room environment was decent. The breakfast was a 'Western-style' breakfast, so it was quite simple. The same building as the hotel houses offices, including the Brunei consulate and a 7-Eleven. There's also a McDonald's just diagonally across from the hotel.

Raia Hotel & Convention Centre is big and faces the Kuching airport terminal. Pick-up is at Gate 3 of the airport arrival hall after WhatsApp the hotel. In five minutes, the hotel white van with the Raia Hotel logo came to pick me up. Upon entering the room and activating the power source, the television automatically shows Bloomberg News. I had tried to switch it off to sleep but the remote control did not function. I cannot see the airport runway from my room. It may be possible to see Air Borneo aircraft ascend to the sky at a corner in a twinkling of an eye. I slept for four hours thirty minutes and woke up after the prompt wake-up call to check-in for Air Borneo's flight to KLIA on 8 August 2026. Kindly note that the hotel is under renovation and enhancement works until 19 September 2026. It is not practical to stay in the room during and after breakfast and the room has no minibar. If one does not have a flight to catch in the morning, stay elsewhere in Kuching.

The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and humane. I wasn't feeling well because my blood sugar was high, and the front desk promptly prioritized my room assignment! The hotel is connected by a skybridge to a shopping complex with lots of great food options! The wooden barrel fish was delicious! Every aspect of the service was top-notch!
