The experience was absolutely fantastic. A special shout-out to the hotel for the thoughtful wristband room keys for the kids; they were absolutely thrilled throughout our three-night stay. The spacious 1.45-meter twin beds were incredibly comfortable. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the view and convenient for drying clothes. Kids playing in the water also had plenty of shade, and the pool staying open until 10 PM was a huge bonus – the children had a blast and the water was spotless. I stayed in this hotel for a short trip. The reception lady was friendly, the bar in the lobby is beautiful and they had some singing performers there on Sunday evening, which felt really special and welcoming.
The carpet and walls in the hallways need renovation and an AC in that area would be nice. My room was quite far away from the elevator, which was quite inconvenient.

The room was very good, clean and tidy. We traveled with friends. The toiletries were also very high-quality. We booked a twin bed room so that we could not disturb each other. The waiter was very nice. Thank you Xiaolei and Xiaoqi (seems to be this name) for helping us carry our luggage. In the hot summer, Gulangyu prohibits all modes of travel with wheels, and you can only rely on your legs.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy.
The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.FromINR 5,628

The hotel is located in the mountains, so the air is very fresh. Upon arrival, the front desk upgraded us to a mountain view room, which was indeed very comfortable. Breakfast was too crowded, and the fruit was all taken by tour groups. A tall waitress was very kind and helped me get some fruit, which I really appreciated. The pool was empty, so swimming there should be especially comfortable. Choosing this hotel for our Xiamen trip was truly an excellent decision. Its location is absolutely perfect, serving as an ideal starting point for exploring the city's highlights. Whether it was taking a ferry from the bustling ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island, strolling along the Nanyang-style Zhongshan Road in search of local delicacies, or visiting the lush Botanical Garden, everything was conveniently and quickly accessible, saving us a lot of precious travel time.

Firstly, the hotel staffs are really good with their service. I have witnessed them handling ”unreasonable” demands with grace and efficiency. Special shoutout and compliments to Ms Posha, she has given me tremendous help and recommendations for the entirety of my stay in Xiamen. Honestly I am impressed by the amount of effort she put in to come out with plenty of suggestions and even a list of places to have meals at. Really made my trip a lot more enjoyable. Secondly, the hotel is situated in a very comfortable location for tourists. You can see gulangyu (鼓浪屿) from your windows if you take the seaview rooms. Nearby is a pier where ferries from gulangyu will drop you off after 6pm. There's also a Chinese bar called Commune besides the hotel which serves interesting beers and decent to chill at. It's also within walking distance from 中山路, there's plenty of food and shops there so overall the hotel location is really good and is suited to start your city walk from. We had a staycation with our child, and the hotel service was incredibly thoughtful. Our butler, Mia, called ahead to confirm our needs, including an early check-in, a footstool, and a bed rail. For this Xiamen trip, after a two-night stay at Indigo Xiamen Harbour, I moved to Hilton Xiamen Panji for another two nights. While my experience at the previous hotel was quite a letdown, this one was a delightful surprise.
The hotel's location is exceptionally strategic. Its lobby offers direct access to its own commercial complex, Panji Center, as well as Lanhualu Station on Metro Line 1. Panji Center itself boasts an excellent selection of dining options, and popular destinations like The MixC and SM Plaza are just two metro stops away. Zhongshan Road Walking Street and the Botanical Garden are also easily accessible, just a 30-minute metro ride from the hotel.

Hotel located about 15 mins walk from ferry station, but definitely worth for the view. Top notch service by Langham’s Place Guest relation officer , Ms Pearl. We were warmly greeted by her once we checked in and she went the extra mile to prepare the birthday celebration for my spouse. Upon asking, she recommended several places to dine around the hotel vicinity. When I had a parcel delivered to me, she made sure that I received it too. I’ve met many diligent GROs and concierge in the hotel industry , but none as thoughtful as her.
The room is clean and spacious, and the pool is decent. The steam room and sauna looks interesting but I did not try. The breakfast is a wide spread but it’s pretty much the same thing daily.

I stayed in this hotel for a short trip. The reception lady was friendly, the bar in the lobby is beautiful and they had some singing performers there on Sunday evening, which felt really special and welcoming.
The carpet and walls in the hallways need renovation and an AC in that area would be nice. My room was quite far away from the elevator, which was quite inconvenient.
Unfortunately, the adults pool wasn’t “working” when I wanted to use it and the sauna was out of service as well. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.

You can walk on the sand in the morning, avoiding the crowds of Zengcuo'an, and you don't have to grab the position to watch the sunrise. The homestay is like a small garden, with neatly trimmed green plants. There are umbrellas and lounge chairs next to the children's pool. The family with the baby can spend an afternoon here. The view is beautiful. There is a large terrace upstairs where you can watch the sea in a daze. The store service is also very good. They can provide laundry detergent, clothes ironing machine, and toilet water. ~ It’s just that you need to climb uphill on the way back, but it’s worth the climb with the good scenery.

As the hotel is located a bit off the main road, it would be helpful if they had highlighted me on the address to input for transport drop off. The didi driver claimed to have dropped me at the location (45 Shengping Road) and I had to scramble a bit to locate the hotel. Do note to use 47 Shengping Road (Mudita Hotel) instead.
Hotel amenities are sufficient for use. The hotel gives off a very traditional and chill vibe, and provided better quality toiletries.
Overall a good stay but I’ll consider other options (too many in the district) for my next trip to Xiamen City.

The biggest highlight of my three-day trip to Xiamen was this hotel, along with Gulangyu Island. The timing couldn't have been better; a typhoon had just passed, leaving us with perfect weather. I also wanted to take my mother to explore and immerse ourselves in Xiamen's unique culture and stunning scenery.
We arrived on the first afternoon. The hotel was clearly very popular, bustling with guests throughout the day. Despite the busy atmosphere, the front desk staff promptly and efficiently handled our check-in.
My heartfelt thanks go out to every single hotel staff member. They were diligent, hardworking, and always went above and beyond to kindly cater to our needs and resolve any issues.

There are many shops around, it is very convenient to buy anything, and it is also very lively. The flow of people is not particularly large, so it is very comfortable to travel. Not like described. I asked non smoking room but got room with smoke smell and ashtray was included. Bed was hard like stone and cinema asked for administrator. Check in needed calling for landlord and without any Chinese skills it may be difficult. As well landlord asked us to register ourselves thru app and it was as well only Chinese. Not easy for foreigners. After my complaint landlord gave another apartment what was in 50th floor and bed was much more softer. Thank you for that. Strange was that normal towels were not included. Instead of normal towels there were some strange disposable towel. Building himself is almost new but some mouldering is visible and that is not nice. As well the windows were a bit dirty.

After booking, the little brother was very considerate in telling me how to book a ferry ticket and answered a lot of questions patiently. In the evening We boarded the ferry at 23:10. When we arrived, the little brother arranged for a car to pick us up. Although we could only carry luggage (the police on the island did not allow us to pull people), one of the two brothers drove the luggage to the hotel, and the other brother took it with him. He walked us all the way to the hotel along the seaside. After checking in, he learned that we had not eaten yet, so he sent us the afternoon tea for the next day in advance. It was very considerate and asked us in advance what time we would have breakfast the next day. The afternoon tea was rich and delicious. In the evening, my wife and I sat on the terrace making tea, chatting, admiring the moon and watching airplanes. A small breeze blew by, which felt very good. The breakfast was delivered on time the next day. The seafood noodles were so delicious, full of ingredients, and the seafood was fresh. When we left, we also sent our luggage to the pier. Thank you very much for your enthusiastic service, which saved us a lot of trouble🌹 , I will stay here again next time.
